No Fuck Combustion at the Apple Store

Sitting in mobile phone purgatory for hours at the Apple Store, I thought I would check the threads...

Who would have thought that fuckcombustion.com would get flagged for pornography?
What squares.

They must be talking about all the Vape/Glass money shots up in here.

Seriously tho, Apple need to remember their roots or are they now rotten to the core...groan!.

“Taking LSD was a profound experience, one of the most important things in my life.”

"I got stoned for the first time that summer. I was fifteen, and then began using pot regularly," Jobs told Isaacson about the summer between his sophmore and junior years at school. By his senior year, he said, "I was starting to get stoned a bit more. We would also drop acid occasionally, usually in fields or cars."

Of one experience in a wheat field, Jobs said, "It was great. I had been listeneing to a lot of Bach. All of a sudden the wheat field was playing Bach. It was the most wonderful feeling of my life up to that point. I felt like the conductor of this symphony with Bach coming through the wheat."

I've seen that sort of thing, I always assumed its because of the word "fuck" in the website name. . ?

Me too. I'm sure that if you try to access any other weed site that doesn't have "fuck" in the title, you'll get there.

...or itll just tell you the MJ site is net-nannied for a different reason.

Remember they are also restricting what their lackie... employees can access while on the job too. That being said the biggest oil head I know works at an Apple store (lol "genius"). Id probably have to intake that much shatter in order to sell overpriced and underpowered products to lemmings and Hipsters too.

Most of the electronics I own now are made by apple. I'm not a hipster or a lemming, I just personally find their build quality and ease of use to be better than most everything else on the market. If you compare specs, competing products might be a better value in the short run, but in my experience, they are much less durable than their apple equivalent. Apple also has a store(s) in practically every major US city; you can get walk-in customer service which is simply not possible with other brands.

And as for "underpowered" I think that's irrelevant for most people since they'll never use anywhere near the maximum-advertised speed of their processor. I know I certainly don't.

Compare what specs? Apple doesn't release information on their hardware, because they know people will assume since its newer and an Apple product it must be better than the older version and more importantly better than anything made by anyone else.

Also, lol at customer service.

"What? Your old phone got better reception? You're holding your new one wrong."

"Oh? Your photos have a blue tint since upgrading your iPhone? You're photo...ing wrong."

"You want a bigger screen? No you don't. We know whats best for you. I mean... how could you fit a bigger phone in your skinny jeans?"

As for build quality, there are plenty of alternatives which offer equal or better fit and finish. I find that avenue of discussion to be a complete wash.

But I digress.

I suppose if all you do is type out screenplays at Starbucks or edit photos/movies, then a Mac is fine. Want a competent workstation, gaming rig, video encoding beast, folding rig, or e-currency mining setup (just to name a few specific applications) you need to join the PC master race.

To this I simply call it HOGSBALLS:D

I would rather shave my who-ha with a rusty spoon than go through that experience again.... True, they have stores. But sadly even with 4 "geniuses" to every customer it manages to take over 3 hours to simply buy and activate a new phone. Bravo Apple! Apple service is miserable and I would rather have an enema with those Jax we used to play with as a kids.

I would have taken care of it at the Sprint Store but it was robbery- $600 for a replacement Vs $290 for a non warranty replacement at the Apple Store. I am going to return it later this week for a Droid. (pardon my rage)

Get a Note 3. If you end up missing the size of your old screen, theres an app for that!

Just remember, however, you'll still be getting better picture quality ;). Dont get too excited though. Steve Jobs said any resolution higher than what their "Retina display" has is useless and imperceptible to the human eye... even though thats been proven as completely false and Apple has since increased their "Retina" display's resolutions (can you hear me down there Steve? Is that turtle neck getting a bit hot for your new digs?).

I should warn you though, apps might load up a lot quicker, resulting in less down time and more productivity. That means you do more work... uggg.

I say apple has good customer service because I went into a store for a minor problem and was given a brand new laptop. When I had my dell laptop (which had constant problems) dell sent a technician out 3 separate times (twice for the hard drive, once for the motherboard) and still never managed to fix it. Dell refused to replace the computer and it died completely a few months later. It still had a year left on warranty but I gave up on it because it was:

1) a complete POS (and keep in mind this was $1300 laptop)
2) tech support was so frustrating to deal with (an hour+ on the phone with india every time I had a problem)

I used to have the anti-Apple mindset until I actually owned a mac. It is far better than a PC for my application; ie, long battery life, low size profile, low weight, high screen resolution, durable casing, and fast flash processor.

So you're comparing the entire PC segment to how Dell runs their CS?

Also, I'm sorry you ended up buying a POS but thats the advantage of being able to shop multiple competitors and compare system specs. Thats exactly how you avoid purchasing pieces of shit, just like when shopping for a vape, a car, or anything else.

You sort of lose that advantage when you follow a company that monopolizes their segment of the industry. You're stuck with "youll get what we give you and youll like it" at that point.

Know what I mean?

Macbooks are nice albeit overpriced tho.
