Pictures of my kittens mother's newest litter... So adorable, I wish there was a shot you could give them to keep them that tiny forever :)

Baboo - 22 years old and going strong! Smart as a whip and full of love!

Is Baboo an indoor-only cat? Nice looking! Has he not gotten grey hair yet?

Last year I had two in their 20's. I lost the older female to cancer. She had this habit of catching me when I was seated, standing up in front of me on her hind legs and tapping me on the chest with her paw to get my attention. After she got sick, she stopped this.. The day before she was ready to go, she came to me and gave me one last tap, probably saying goodbye.:cry::cry::cry::cry:

I can't post a picture for her, but she looks exactly like that frowning cat, snowshoe siamese, minus the frown.

Her little brother, now 21, is still going strong.

Nope - Baboo hasn't any gray hairs, but he is much lighter in weight compared to five or so years ago. This is a natural condition that develops as animals age in order to reduce stresses on organs and body functions. All my cats have always been indoor only. I do at times take them out into the gated back yard which they enjoy, but only when I'm there with them to babysit and keep a close eye out for trouble. I also make sure that there's nothing in the yard that might've been left by any animals that climbed over the fence in the dark of night that could be harmful, such as infectious droppings. It is a useful fact to know that exclusively indoor cats suffer absolutely no emotional or psychological stresses as a result, and have much longer life expectancies as they are protected from potential harms like infectious disease, cars, cat-chomping dogs, foxes, and racoons, to name a few. I could go on and on about all this - animals are my passion of passions!

I share that passion! Every moment I could, while in high school, I worked at the North Orange County Animal Rescue Facility. We had every sort of animal you could imagine, save for the big cats. Now, without knowing of my past, one of my kids has just volunteers at the local Animal Rescue facility, and they specialize in big cats. Every time I drop her off, I visit my new big friends!

If you ever want to chat about our shared interest, please feel free to PM me.
