All I did was ask a question as a buyer in the vapor market about two products.
Well you've gotten a number of considerate answers, so let's drop this discussion and return to the topic of the thread. :)

There isn't a replacement thingy to tie at the top of the bag.

Not that it really matters anyway - having to use legal 'erbs now - valerian root is the only thing that almost works.

No, there is not a replacement thingy.
Use Rubber band, twist tie or cord.
Local Patients that have arthritic conditions use baling wire or other thin wire that retains it's shape.

Hey guys, I recently got a good deal on a volcano classic, and today I got to try it out.....I experimented with temperatures 6-8 and got decent density 1st&2nd bag each time, but after that the bags are really thin, even with a stir..........and the avb stays yelloweygreen.
tried different grinds, dont know what im doing wrong

i use a really large bag about 3 feet tall seems to work much better can also let the herb heat up some first let sit for a couple of mins turn air on and off a few times during the wait

Does anyone know of a glass adapter that will perfectly fit on to the top of the easy valve herb chamber?

I just bought pair of these and a length of tubing to hook my bong up to my volcano, and it would be an awesome setup apart from the adapter sitting on top of the herb chamber is slightly loose :( would really like something with a tighter fit if possible, or does anyone have any suggestions on something which can hold it in place?

I use the same adapter on the bong side of the tube....
I use SSV tube, and found that I did not need anything but the tube itself forced down onto the Easy valve.
DSC02970.jpg

On occasion it begins to slip.. that is from oils that are warm lubricating the area.
I clean out the first 1/2 inch of the tube with tissue, and it is snug again.

Yeah I did consider putting the tubing straight on to the easy valve chamber. But the chamber gets pretty hot, and I'm a bit worried about inhaling melted plastic fumes! :uhoh:

I think the SSV tubing heat rating is higher than the max temp on the Volcano, though I dont have the source handy at the moment

Ok thanks. I might look into the SSV tubing then as the Arizer tubing I have is too small to fit over the end of the herb chamber.

Also, my friend brought over a gong adapter for a Solo, and its just a fraction too small to fit over the end of the herb chamber. I will probably get one for myself and try to file the inside edge down a little, because it would be an absolutely perfect fit with a tiny amount filed off.

What size is your downstem! The solo stems fit pretty well in an 18mm

Its 18.8mm. Both the Solo and H20 adapters fit the bong downstem fine, but its a shame that neither of them quite fit right on top of the Volcano her chamber, otherwise that would be a dream setup!

For hooking the volcano to water, i would suggest wihps and cheap elbow. it permits you to take some cheap glass. The PV adaptater will give you a deware joint above an electrical device which is only from an HydroTube (joint upsidedown at the bottom). i would avoid to put water above a volcano. So in fine, you will need whips and elbows even if you have an adapter.

PV have many size of soft tubing, take several size to hook them up DIRECTLY to the stell top part of easy valve (one size hook pefectly for it). Then you take some 18mm EQ elbow and you are set.

After re-using Easy valve bags a few dozen times, and re-building with Turkey Bags, I became very good at it.
I found my mistakes and things that make it easier.
I had in my possession a few boxed rolls of Solid valve Material.
I was having fun using the Zephyr Ion, because I had a 6 foot bag for it.
A larger bag makes all the difference to me, in the joy I get from a bag vaporizer.
I was going to make a 6 footer for myself, but realized that the perfect amount of vapor was a little bit more than half that.
42 inches.. 3 and a half feet would be my new bag.
I was so proud of myself.. there were no leaks, and when full the 3 1/2 foot bag stood up straight like... well... you know what!

yes... you can see a dog hair got tangled in there.

There are great benefits to this bag.
6 feet was hard to finish.
3 feet left me medicated but still wanting more.
42 inches was the right amount.
I tend to get up after a few hits (or one bag) and start working as soon as I think I feel better, but am not always fully medicated.. and sometimes I like to insure that fully medicated state.
This bag is my insurance, because once a full bag is in my hand, it will get finished much more likely than not.
42 inches .. 3.5 feet is the right length for it to not have to touch the ground as I sit in chair, and it never collides with anything when I stand!

More "Tales of the Volcano".
I never have taken apart my Valve... the Easy Valve.
The screens always look good to me after a brushing.
The valve has been in use for 3 years.. How is that even possible?
I thought to myself that this was quite a design... no buildup anywhere!
Today I noticed that clear gluey looking resin forming at the mouth end of my new bag...
so I know resin is happening.. I decided to take apart the easy valve and look.
The black plastic shell popped off, and had a small amount of debris caked on one side.
No Iso here, do not want to weaken a shell that withstood heat for so long.
There sat what appeared to be a pristine SS funnel... until I popped off that screen, and had a peak at the inner sanctum of that hidden cavern.
I say cavern, because it looked like one!
DSC03183.jpg

It was as hard as a rock in there, and resisted chipping.
I had to leave the piece soaking in Iso (91%)
DSC03185.jpg

Yes I vaped the Reclaim. It tasted of 3 years of strains.
I added an extra floating screen and sandwiched the reclaim between two layers of flowers.
Yes, I did get quite the medicine-head from the experience. It has been a good day!

Thanks. I ended purchasing adapter from planetvape and working on getting a nice glass peice. However I still want to try out the whip and elbow setup.

Still looking into whips and elbows. Would any of these work?

Hi there, I just wanted to mention that Vapor Brothers mini hydrator works very well with our Volcano sold valve. I posted a pic back on page 41 of thread. The angle piece fits well into the mouth piece. And with the FC discount IMO Its an excellent made in the USA glass piece for vaporization. I ordered mine through Vapor Warehouse after not winning the Thanksgiving contest and found purchasing from them a breeze. Sorry if I'm being redundant if you saw my post earlier just wanted to let you know And inexpensive option.

When I ordered my mini hydrator from Vaper Warehouse back in December they offered a one time use discount code for the mini hydrator for the FC community. I am not positive if they still Offer that discount. The code was something like fcmini. I'm sure you could direct message them about this To see if they still are offering it to us. I hope this helps. Enjoy.

Discount still works. I ordered one today for my volcano digital.
