A few years ago I sold my Purple Days vape and I miss it. I like how efficiently I could medicate with it. It seems like all the log-style vapes (PD, AromaZap, etc) are gone these days. I did see the stone block style vape. Does anyone know what's out there that compares to those log vapes. Also I'm sorta interested in a portable option but I haven't kept up on which pens are worth a damn and which aren't.

Get a Firefly… Can also be used as a log through glass… ;) Very efficient and very nice taste! Just make sure you also get an extra bat and its charger so you never left out of juice. :)

Are you vaping flowers or concentrates?

The Underdog and Heat Islands are still being made as well as the E-Nano if you definitely want a log. Although the Heat Island waiting list is still quite long.

I second the Firefly nod for a portable if you're vaping flowers. The Solo (of course) is another good portable option for flowers. Although neither is very stealthy, if that's what you're looking for.

Both the FF and Solo do quite well in the efficiency department.

My :2c: Here. For me the portables for concentrates are the Persei and Omicron. There are many options for attachments and upgrades. http://www.w9tech.com/. It seems that they have received a lot of my money lately. They do have an option for flowers (portable) but it is glass (The Bender) and although it it extremely well made , I wouldn't take it out and about. I do own one (check sig) and love it. That particular piece stays home.

Thanks guys I will check out all these great recommendations. I did forget to mention it will be for flowers only. I already started checking out the HI, which looks great! I can't wait to check out the Firefly also.

The Underdog and HI of the E-Nano are all great log vapes, I love my underdog. The Vapolution 2.0 is inexpensive and really functions on a level reached by few others. The EV-2 is a quality wooden vape that like the Vapo 2 can be used either direct draw or a whip.

For Portable use around the yard I've been mainly using the Hammer Vaporizer, closest thing to a portable log besides a log and battery pack.

Welcome back to the game @sour.

:peace:

Edit: There is a waiting list for the HI, close to a years wait I believe. Underdogs and E-Nanos are in stock.

I thought Andy wasn't making the EV 2 anymore? Or does he upon special request?

The waiting list for the HI is still almost a year, at this point. But you may as well put your name on the list because it's free to do so and you never know what you may want a year from now. I sure wish I had put my name on the list when I first found FC.

The more I think about it, portable might fit my needs just fine. I don't vape several times a day/night just once or twice after work and even then I prefer to do it outside then come in. Those Fireflys are NICE! Pricey though and probably out of reach for me unless I can happen to find a used one. I'll check out the Hammer too.

The EV-2 is in stock at the moment, Andy will continue servicing them but I think he's only gonna make new e- nanos in the future.

I'm on the list for an HI. Hopin' I can keep myself from buying any more vapes until my name comes up.

Really with the EV-2 being marked down to $125 and the Vapolution $99. If you can 'Plug In' it's well worth it. But I do like my portables sitting out under the blue sky.

Make sure to keep plenty squirreled away!

The HI itself is not expensive, but.... by the time I was done choosing all the different roasting tubes (especially the all wooden ones) and a VVPS ... I'm in over $400. :ko:

And I want more tubes already!

Keep an eye on the classifieds. A few FF's have gone through there. It's definitely not a vape for everyone, so I wouldn't be surprised if another pops up.

Shit. Double post. Sorry.

Oh man the e-nano looks niiice. I should compare the HI to the e-nano. Portable would be ideal but since cost is a factor I may end up just going with a plug in. I know I keep flip-flopping but I really like them ALL. haha Efficiency, durability and cost all matter to me.

Well don't drive yourself crazy in choosing! Chances are you'll end up with a few. You've got a bunch of good choices!

When I bought my 4th vape, I was SURE it was my last one. Now I've owned 10 and I'm still a lightweight around here.

If portable would be ideal and efficiency, durability AND cost matter, then I have one word for you: LOTUS!

It hits faster, harder and with more control than the Firefly, costs much less and will outlive you probably. Maintenance is minimum, serviceability is cheap and done by you, taste is as great as the FF and logs, is a joy to use and a very personal experience. :luv:

Those are very nice. If I get on the list for a HI i'll definately need one of those. I haven't looked into Underdogs yet, but e-nano doesn't seem as nice as the HI.

Welcome back, lots of good vaporizers on the market these days. All the logs are efficient and potent, and I would recommend getting on the HI list. Its free. In the meantime, take a look at the Solo. I think its one of the best values on the market at the moment, and you can find them for $130 or less on ebay. Tasty, efficient and economical.

Oh for sure. If you want something without a cord, the Arizer Solo is near the top (if not AT the top) of my short list. Especially with the latest improvements with airflow and decreased draw resistance couples with faster heat-up times... the thing is pretty win.
