Can any of you guys or gals tell me if the Luna is backordered, and how long does it usually take for TE to ship their products? I have been calling all morning, and can't get through. I have also e-mailed them.

They are not backordered AFAIK. The plan was to make a limited run (20?), clear up issues like the cart fitting deal, then order parts for production and take orders. My guess is that may be a few months out? Maybe only weeks?

Last I heard there were only 25 of so of many of the key parts. That may have changed.

I plan to try to go by the shop sometime next week, perhaps there's some fresh information there?

Thanks man.... They haven't responded to any of my voicemails, nor my emails... I wound buying 2 Persei's, an SR74, nibbler XL and some extra cartridges... Maybe I am being a little to harsh for them not returning my calls or emails, but it has been over 6+ hours to no avail... It's strange when a company won't respond when you are telling them that you want to order both units today to the tune of $550, Plus batteries, and some accessories totaling $688 with shipping. Makes me wonder how they would be if I had a problem... Oh well.

You get to decide what's OK with you, but IMO same day response is not always realistic.

I get the 'I want to give them a LOT of money' point, but frankly I hope that's not a factor here. IMO each customer should get the best available service, in turn, regardless of how much money they bring in (or cost a company to resolve the problem). I know that's not always how the world works, but I've worked places where anything other than 'first in, first out' took the OK from the boss as an exceptional thing. Nobody got passed by for someone more important......at least not very often.

I'm sorry you lost patients, but there will be chances to recover.

Regards.

I hear what you are saying.... But I have worked in customer service, and sales for the last 15+ years... I have always responded to calls for problems, as well as sales the same day... Maybe in a couple of months I will stumble back over to the Cera, and the Luna... I can always forgive and forget... Thanks for your insight man!

FWIW I inquired about the turnaround time for my EO carts, as well as the expected release of my new Luna, and Zeki replied to my e-mail within the hour. It appears that the need for more parts has arrived as my upgrade was delayed by this factor. @warnerg54 I hope you get the response from TET you expect. I had not heard anything for about 10 days before I contacted TET.

Good to hear they're alive after all, thanks.

The parts thing makes perfect sense, remember they are making a set of shims to allow the custom fitting of over all length (sometimes called OAL). I assume this is what has the rebuild of my cores hung up as well. Since I have backup vapes the delay is no big deal to me, but I can see how many get anxious.

Thanks again for passing the word.

I have always been pleased with Zeki, and TET's customer service. I have dealt with them extensively on numerous occasions, with multiple rebuilds(most due to my choice, not cart failure). I have tried all of D9's(Persei people) gear as well..... I find myself using my Cera Ti Eo all day;), and my D9 gear only on occasion now. That is the beauty of capitalism, soooo many choices!

Yeah the cart gets hot. Especially when you are riding the heat for big clouds
does that thermal cap fit over it? or is that just for the loose leaf sera cart? Any leaking issues? How much can you load at a time. :) thanks, sorry for all the questions

Same cart body as Cera, so the cap and UFO fit fine. Although it looks funny I like mine better that way (both on Cera and Luna), but for grabbing a hit or two I don't think it's a problem with the bare cart.

So what's the consensus so far? I'm not sure how widespread issues are with the new switches or if TET is planning any adjustments to the process. Is it a good time to grab a Luna or would giving it a couple months for any remaining kinks to be worked out would be wiser at this point?

Anyone try the liquid luna yet?

Seems like it will be a good no leak solution for my EJmix with concentrates but want it also to be pleasant with straight ejuice.

The better way to get a discount, since TET don't offer any coupon code imo, is to get one from the classifieds, there is Cera bundle at a good price, very interesting if I'm thinking to get one.....
I think if you wait 2 or 3 months you'll can find some Luna in Classifieds, perhaps it's a better way since TET products are really expensive imho (but really tasty, that's why!)

oh too late, I just ordered :) I asked for one in the comment section, see what happens. I am excited to get a luna and my first eo core, I only use thermovape darts, now the kiss, and the hercules cart, all at 3.7.
*are the best batteries to get are the sony vtc5?

I wanted to provide you all with an update. After a week in the shop (presumably because TET was awaiting switch components) my Luna has returned in working order. Not only did TET provide a replacement switch plate (my original was "etched" due to arcing/poor connection between switch and cart), but they also rebuilt the used EO core I sent in...free of charge.

Such a great company to work with.

I would have ordered a liquid luna but TET does not make it easy since I need 3 EO cores rebuilt and put in spec for the luna. Only way I see how to do this is to but just the body, select rebuild options and add a liquid cart (which still say not available) and pay extra. I will email them and let them know and sure it will all work out but doesn't seem I should need to.

Received an email back on how to do this, pretty simple solution. Just order what you want and want and then add the cartridge rebuild in the cart order page.

Zeki did not answer if the liquid cart is available yet or not. Have another email to him only asking this question.
