Hey PV and Enrico, when will you guys start accepting bitcoin payments? Companies like coinbase and bitpay allow you to accept bitcoin payments but receive your money in $dollars the next day so you are never exposed to the fluctuations of the price of btc. Its a win for us cryptocurrency users and a win for you guys!

We completely agree and have been working on testing the APIs provided by each bitcoin company on our website. We almost had a solution with Mt. Gox, luckily dodged a bullet with that one. Coinbase looks good and we like their security. Anything that makes transactions better and easier for our customers will be implemented and bitcoins certainly fit that. Anyone else notice the XLR's are no longer on PV?

I did ... although AFAIK they never had all the XLR 2.0 options in stock. They didn't seem to have the full kit (which is the top seller on the official site). They mainly had the adapt-a options.

I was waiting for the full kit -- maybe the changes of late are in preparation for having the full XLR line? If not I will likely just buy from the official site. I like PV's warranty stuff etc but don't want to wait much longer.

Yes we have had to take down our XLRs temporarily. The kits should all contain moon tools and the new 14/18mm teflon adapter ring. All included atomizers are 14mm and the kits contain a teflon 14 to 18mm adapter ring for 18mm use. When we received our shipment none of the kits contained the 14/18mm teflon adapter ring so we were using extra stock of the adapter rings we had to complete the kits. Now our stock of extra adapter rings is depleted and Sublimators factory has still not provided us with the missing replacement adapters so we can't sell kits with missing parts, very sorry.

We were first with full stainless kits, due to some finishing touches on the Stainless bases that were missing, we needed to send them back. We now have new full stainless kits, but due to the 14/18mm teflon adapter rings missing as per above, we can't sell them until we have completed kits.

anyone having any trouble with the new shorter atomizers blowing out 18/14 reducers when it gets hot. i have broke every single one i have in my fucking house and now i dont want to put that in a 14mm joint out of fear of that breaking. I still have a atomizer from the ufo that i never had trouble with before that i will have to try with the xlr head to see if it is the new atomizers breaking my shit or what

I just received a Ti Apollo adapt a sub kit, and was also very curious about the short atomizer. It's the first short one I've seen or heard about. I'm using the 14/18 Teflon bushing that came with, and running it all in a Sub buddy reclaimer. The first time I tried to use the unit, after a 30 min bake on full temp, the atomizer was stuck solid in the reclaimer. Wow, quite a task trying to work it loose without breaking my new reclaimer. I now give the atomizer a wiggle every few minutes during warm up. No issues once up to temp, but the 14/18 bushing always remains with the reclaimer instead of staying attached to the 14mm Teflon on the atomizer.

Does anyone know why they changed to a short atomizer? I suspect the longer one might provide better results when used with a reclaimer.

Was also wondering about the new heat guard for the Apollo. From a couple of videos, I was under the impression that they were going to be standard on the XLRs, but mine didn't come with.

The atomizers have recently been shortened to make them compatible with a greater variety of water tools as well as making cleaning and Sublimate harvesting easier. The downstem won't hold as much Sublimate before it starts dripping, but it is easier and faster to harvest with the shorter downstem.

Your glass 18/14 reducers are breaking because you are heating the atomizer through conduction while having the glass 18/14 reducer attached. Teflon expands by design when heated, your UFO atomizer is not expanding as much because you are not heating it to the degree it is when being heated by the Apollo. Allow the Apollo and atomizer to heat up together while NOT in any reducer or joint. Once hot and fully expanded, now you can place it in your glass reducer or water tool joint for a perfect seal.

The 14/18mm teflon adapter ring will always stay in the glass joint unless removed. The teflon gets a much better grip on glass as it does against more teflon making the friction co-efficient the deciding factor of where the rings stays.

The heat guard for the Apollo is not listed as included in any kits.... yet, please read what is included with the kits and not by what you see in videos. Many videos contain prototype products being tested which might / might not pass testing. We have seen and used the heat guard for the Apollo and really liked it, hopefully they become available after all testing is complete.

The timer box doesn't bother me at all. It has an override and I do like to be able to have it shut off at certain times. I like the look of these new XLR 2.0s but I just don't think I want to pay for the upgrade while mine is working flawlessly.

i agree. i wont be upgrading mine either, but still it's cool to see a newer version is out. i wanna know what's changed.

Well I went ahead and pulled the trigger and ordered me a titanium adapt-a-dabmaster. I can't wait for it to arrive!! In the meantime, to all the veteran Sublimator owners, could you please share any tips and advice you have in regards to using, cleaning, etc. the Sublimator? Thanks in advance!!!

quickly flash then go out. When I click the dial to turn it on or turn the dial none of

@gooner123 the quick flash of monkey controller is normal, it is everytime you reconnect it to power.

Then the power is indicated with the green led on the monkey controller, there is also a pale green led on the power box; then push the button and dial up, the party should start now.


I use the dabmaster between dial 5 and 6. Results in dark brown stuff.

I bought an XLR and it didn't come with it, it was never intended to be that way. Also, it has said before by PV, the shield won't fit version I.

The Heat shield protection cage is not compatible with v1.0 Sublimators. The cage is still in prototype stage with testing going very well. Not sure of a release date yet. Thanks for pointing out the page 1 inconsistency Tom, we have added pending to the description.

Apparently the knob is a bit cheap too so if it ever doesn't turn on in the future, pull off the plastic dial knob and use it bare.

I got a chance to try out the Dabmaster Ti with some oil hits and I definitely liked it. Not sure if I like it enough to spend $400 to upgrade but I still have a few months to decide. Also tried it with the stainless steel base with carb and a straight glass attachment. The carb adds a shotgun to the head effect at the end of the hit and makes it easier to clear. I like the base but the price is just too much on top of the upgrade to justify it. If you have the cash to spend it does make for a great rig though.

Have current XLR owners timed how long until the auto-shutoff kicks in? The one I tried apparently shuts off around 45 minutes, not sure if it's just their unit or if it varies across the board. I really do hope they fix that in the future, at least have the option for longer like 4 hours or so and a beep when it goes off like on the Arizer Solo.

That still doesn't answer the question of weather is free with the purchase of the XLR, I'm really confuse now, is it part of the XLR apollo or not? it says is pending but nothing indicates is going to be free with the purchase of the XLR, as stated by @eLiguL, or is it?

Those features have so many kit combinations that nobody should think that every kit contains every single thing listed. When I bought my Apollo kit it didn't show a shield as part of it, I will gladly accept one if that is the case when available.

I'd like to see the atomizer fully encased in ceramic, and a heat shield as standard- one that covers all the hot parts, like in the Life Saber. I'd like to be able to drop any hot parts without melting holes in my carpet.

Someone who works with clay should be able to easily knock out sleeves for the atomizer that will fit 14mm or 18mm joints!

The 2.0 is EU compatible as the PA is a 36V DC for 110V/230V.

Whithin few weeks of massive use. I had to put the dabmaster out of rotation. His presence made tolerance rocketted and lungs really hurting. During this period i completely cleaned the upper part of atomizer and the visible part of down part. The 3 screens are clogged very fast with particles and resin.

I am sure now that the device depends on teemperature environnement as the power had to be adjusted for same results. I hit the sub to the point no vapor escapes.

at setting 5: there is two steps at 32 and 33 (unit at equilibrium), you achieve dark brown ABV. Every setting on the controller contain two step of one watt each.

This device reactivates my search for benzene releasing during vaporising process and serious scientific research about it (if anybody knows some, ready to read). The fact still is that the high temperature equilibrium of the unit extracts all things instantly.

For the taste, ill shall base it on a perfect clean unit but afterall the after taste of metal/rust is present. In fact, it is my wife (not vaporist) noticed a rusty smell in my breath pretty quick.

Sub equaled E-nano from EpicVapes in density of clouds but did not surpassed in flavor. I cleaned my unit completely today to reset the taste and try again!

This ability to produce resin in the stem (so-called sublimate) is quiet unique but relies on not cleaning the unit thus threatening flavor. Could someone can tell me the size of the new short stem atomizer? from how long it did shorten?

EDIT: Ok i ISO cleaned the unit and subbuddy and cut the SS stem of a 2 cm piece. The airflow and taste are far better. The new criteria of cleanning is the movement of 2nd screen (the ghost stock screen that does not fit the up edge). When too many particles are stuck, this one does not move. I passed the point because it occurs pretty fast but i should not have. Dunno if i would have had sublimate though.

Well with 2 cm shorter, the sublimate drips very fast, from 2 nd day. This length permits to be well aligned with the subbuddy holes.

Sub is back in da game folks 34 W to finish all loads sometimes begun with other vape (lotus, hammer, herbie), pressed like lemons, dark chocolate ABV).

Upload a video Sublimator enjoying a bong with water. They have updated the instagran and facebook with new bases, but do not specify anything else. Anyone know anything more, I have one already, in my hands.

Got to try out the Sublimator XLR E-Nailator yesterday with one of those stainless steel bases at the Vancouver Art Centre. They had a sublimator booth there. The glass attatchment I hit had a seriously awesome tree perc.

The dabs through there were smooth and cool. I wish Vancouver let people sell dabs as freely as they can on 4/20 everyday
