Newbie bho question

Hey people I'm
New to making bho Iv only done 2 runs b4 using a glass tube. My question is I'm about to do a run but I don't have enough bud to fill my glass tube I'm just short can still go head with the gap in the tube? Or could I fill the end with cotton wool balls and fill the gap ?

Fill the top of the tube with cotton balls and then pack your bud.
This way there will be no blow back and you can still do your run.

As always ensure your cotton is pure cotton, unbleached and natural.

Technically speaking yes, but the pressure will not be as high therefore decreasing your yield.

I would not use cotton (personal preference) if you have some previously run bho bud lying around still stick that in there to fill it all the way.

I probably wouldn't do that either, especially if he's doing a nug run. Not a bad idea for a trim run, but I really hate ruining the taste of good flowers.

My suggestions:

• If you can pack it from the top down (the butane side), do that and just leave the gap in there.
• Pick up a stainless steel turkey baster. It's like 6 bucks from bed bath and beyond and holds 7-10g.

use unbleached coffee filters balled up, works like a champ.

The gap is only about 10 cm long. I'm gonna try the method using rolled up coffee filters and give that ago since that's all I have. The bud I'm using is average anyway using just over half ounce

coffee filters are a good idea, I always stuff one in as a diffuser so the butane showers evenly.

If your going to use coffee filters... pre soak them in ISO before your butane spray.

I find that coffee filters (dry, not pre-soaked) in general tend to trap to much of the goodies your trying to extract.
