vaping to alleviate muscle soreness?

i went through the medical section twice and didn't come across any related topic. if there already is one dealing with a similar issue, i'd more than happy to find my post in the respective thread.

now to my question. i spent the last weekend in the mountains with a lot of walking up and downhill involved. the unpleasant result is a really bad muscle soreness in the shinbone area. every step hurts like hell. would a vaping session actually relief the pain or just enlighten my mood? does vaping actually help in general with this kind of pain?

That kind of pain, muscle trauma, would be disrupted only using cannabis not entirely relieved, and your mood would be "enlightened" as you say. For muscle soreness you want to alternate heat/cold going 15 minutes of cold, then 15 minutes of nothing, then 15 minutes of heat, then nothing, then back to cold etc. Keep alternating it and if you have any DMSO or Sombra put it on as well.

In this case, the #1 thing would be doing exactly what t-dub suggested.

Now, staying off your feet for a while might be the other part of it the alleviation.
Vaping helps with making that 2nd part less boring ;-)

One other thought:
I'm no doctor but if your shinbone is hurting like that every step, it might not be 100% muscle soreness. Still do the cold/nothing/hot rotation but it also might be a good idea to take an anti-inflammatory like aspirin, ibuprofen...or extra cannabis.

I get various leg pains and it more of takes my mind off it. Found bubblegum great for this as it seems to have a great initial soar and later a relaxing sleepy feeling. Wish I could get it more often

Team NO SLEEP!
Herb has been commonly found within every major NFL team/organization. In fact, HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel did a great piece on it earlier this season. Highlighting the fact that today's football players would far prefer to go home after a Sunday game and self-medicate with herb, than take pain pills or injections.

It was a great story they did, and very positive for our cause. They also discussed how all the players know exactly when their drug tests are (during the off season), and are given plenty of time to clean their system before a test. To my knowledge, that is the only time they are tested all year.

I've been dabbing a concentrate I made from just abv at night,
it makes me sleepy and seems to have great analgesic properties.

I slept well, and woke up pain-free this morning which is rare.

But my muscle pain is more from tension generated by a neck injury,
rather than physical exertion which gives me a whole new set of problems.

sounds like an interesting watch. the sports organizations should definitely reconsider the classification of marijuana as a performance enhancing substance, giving it a status of a therapeuthic drug. it can't be worse than the amount of painkillers the athletes are taking.
