Discontinued Supreme Vaporizer

I just wanted to ask this since I've been hearing a lot lately about aluminum and Alzheimer/health.

I'm curious if anyone is educated in this field and would know?

I spoke to nicelyToasted(NTD) a few times int he past and I believe he assured me it was okay.

I spoke to a user graywolf on Icmag who has always been of help to me in the past who said that he wouldn't use it, and that there is a taste at high temps.

So does anyone know if this is 100% safe or what? Ed on his site assures us, and he even assured me in an email awhile ago, but I figured I would post to see what others think...

Thanks.

I vouch for the safety.
No problems here anyways.
As far as high temperatures and taste..I keep it around 300..that's is the good thing about vapes..low temps.

I've used my Supreme for awhile when I first got it, now I just started using it again. A few peeps say they wouldn't use it, so I'm trying to see what's up.

How do you vouch it? All these effects are long term.

I don't taste any metallic taste, but some peeps were talking about heating the element too much.

I don't try to take it too hot either, but I don't have a working lcd anymore, and even when it did worked, the temp was way off. I guess I will keep it low temp.

There are a ton of mixed reviews, I just am at the point I want to not use it, but I do love it....

Aluminum in the case of Alzheimers was said to be linked to drinking waters from wells that had Aluminum deposits.. as well as through use of certain antiperspirants that use aluminum.
They say that drinking "silicone rich" mineral water removes aluminum from the human body.

That's good to know, but they also say that cooking with aluminum is also bad.

I'm curious where the SV falls in. I really like this vape, even though mine is falling apart, but I'm about my health.

One interesting comment was how a dude feels "foggy" the next morning.

I sometimes feel this(like right now for example) but I figure it's from not being high/not getting a good night sleep. I feel like I noticed this with BHO also.

Silicon rich water? Sound a little gross, sounds like we wouldn't want silicone in the body either... But apparently brands like fiji are high in silicon.

Thanks for the info both of you.

You should buy a new LCD.
Comes with thermometer, which you'll need anyways, because the solder is so fragile.
Costs under $30 iirc.
Shoot him an email.

@mon-well you've been here for a number of years, so I assume you know the forum rules. There is no selling or soliciting in threads. You'll need some posts and likes before you can use the Classifieds, but this was not the best way to start.

There's been so many dozens of portable vaporizers released in recent years, why exactly were you interested in a old used Supreme?

The supreme was my first real powerful vaporizer and I think back to my days when I'd use it regularly... it was a much less enjoyable experience than the newer vaporizers.

I'm old school thinking the supreme is tits then.
I would love a recommendation to what you love now that serves better than supreme.
I have to have water cooled though.
I would like to ditch the torch.
Lots of butane has been gone through.
I'm on supreme #3 too..I've been told I get it too hot, but I try to keep it under 330f.

The Supreme is tits IMO.

I can't speak for SD Haze, but the Cloud Evo serves me better. Always through water, of course. I will keep my Supreme for the end times, but day to day, the Evo would most surely satisfy your needs for thick vapor through H20.

I'm not impressed with VapeXhale's customer service and they have actually lost my business due to such bad service.
I could go on and on I'm sorry to say..
/rant

I have been looking at underdog..looks simple and durable.
Still on the fence.
Loving the supreme too much.

Glad I'm not the only one! :)

Really?

I will admit its not my #1 portable, but it very solidly holds the #3 spot behind
#1 - Solo
#2 - Gnome
#3 - Supreme

I haven't tried a lotus, so that may be a good one to look at if someone's looking for a good flame powered portable, but I wouldn't be so quick to poo-poo the supreme.

Also, afaik it's the only flame powered portable with a temp readout?

Happy to see supreme thread reemerge.

Supreme Pros:
- Easy control of temperature
- great air flow
- no worry of breaking glass stems
- comes with water piece extension
- doesn't over cook material
- easy to clean

Cons:
- The torch can freak people out and makes things trickier for on the go sessions.

I'm hoping to find a new vaporizer that provides the same type of temperature control, air flow and flavor as the supreme without the use of a torch and which is more stealth for on the go sessions.

Solo: Recieves good praise for its flavor and battery life. Do the 2014 solo upgrades really improved the air flow or are user mods still required ie screens / new stems?

Pinacle Pro: More portable, provides decent output, but also delivers hot vaper without as much flavor.

Indica Vaporizer: Unsure if this will ever come to market and haven't heard about its battery life / temp control / vaper flavor.

Firefly: Messy to clean, large and rather heavy.

Are there any obvious portable choices I've overlooked? I would love to find a portable that provides strong air flow, stealth and tasty vaper (Am I being greedy?)

Thanks much.

You forgot the better choice IMO, the Inhalater Xp or the newer Inh005, a tasty cheaper vape would be the Firewood...

But back to the Supreme, I never try it but actually I got lot of pleasure to use my flame powered vapes and I'm thinking about this one too (since Supreme Vapes are avalaible in Classifieds),
a question, is it fast to heat? and how is the airflow?

I use my big chefs torch that I got for dabbing to heat mine, and it gets up to temp real quick.
I've never measured it, but I'd be surprised if its over a minute.

It's not free-flowing, but the airflow is pretty good.
Given the amount of thermal mass it's got, it seems to me that you can rip extra hard If you want some extra flow, and the hit doesn't reduce in quality.

IMHO Get the lotus. I have both and the lotus tastes better and is faster at heating up. In terms of flame based vapes that is.

I love the supreme.
I bought a half dozen at one time.
People contact me on a very regular basis looking for a Supreme V2!
Personally I think it is a great tasting vape.

You can be placed on a waiting list to order a supreme, at http://supremevaporizer.com/OrderingInfo.html
If you touch the image above the picture of the supreme, it will even allow you to pre-pay.

I owned at a time a collection of flame based vaporizers.
I still have a number of them, but the Supreme to me has the best taste, and gives the thickest fattest rips. It holds a very respectable load of meds as well.

My post comes as someone who really enjoys the supreme but is also on the market for a footmobile option that provides a similar experience (taste, temp control and air flow) of the supreme without the use of a torch.
