Are you using it with flowers? Most, if not all, pens are only good with concentrates, regardless of manufacturer claims.

yes I am, I understand that, it seems like it isn't getting warm enough, but ive seen them online and the coil glows as long as button is depressed, this one shuts itself off jus as its getting bright and the LED on button flashes real quick, its my first experience with one so I admit I dnt kno much about process but seems like it just isn't getting warm enuff to vaporize anything

Well, I'm still not certain weather you are using concentrates or flowers. Concentrates need to be applied directly to the coil. Most pens will shut off automatically after 10 seconds to keep the coil from overheating. For flowers you would likely need to press and hold for multiple cycles before you would get any result. You may need to purchase a higher quality pen. There are a lot of bad ones out there.

As far as I know, the ONLY current vape pen on the market that can vape "flowers" is the T-Vape.

The Grasshopper, which hasn't been released yet is another vape pen that claims to do flowers. Jury's still out though.........

All these Chinese manufactured vape pens that are made in the same factory but with different brand names put on them (I wonder how many different ones there actually are) and state that their pens will also vaporize dry herbs should be sued for false advertising.........but good luck with that, eh? Countless people have purchased these cloned vapes with different names to do that but found out that that their ability to vaporize dry herbs was totally bogus.

When you exchanged was it just the battery portion or the whole kit? It sounds like you may have a short causing low ohms that your battery can't handle and it's going out on an over current protection. :2c:

thanx for replying, I got a whole other pen, but I agree with u as I think its got to be a short somewhere, the coil doesn't burn hot enuff for eliquids nevermind flowers, I kno most pens have a control to adjust the ohms, this one doesn't have anything

Neither here nor there in regards to your problem but, the control your thinking of actually regulates the voltage or boosts the voltage output at a chosen value. The ohms is a fixed number representing the electrical resistance of the load you are putting on the battery or in this case your atomizers coil. Most ego style or pens style batteries can't handle anything under 1.5 ohms or so iirc so if you have short making your coil say 1 ohm it would have symptoms like you are describing.

I have never heard of this xxx pen but given that you have had 2 bad ones in a row I would be looking for a refund and put that money into a reliable vape that will do what you are looking for.

yea here in my area although medical cannabis has recently been recognized by law and has been decriminalized if under 1oz I benefit from medicinal flowers and herbs, a good portable vape would b great for emergencies, not many headshops in area and im not sure if state has a disoesarie yet

By portable do you need something you can rip in your car? Or something you can carry in your pocket?

There is great info in the "portables" section.

I'm going to buy an arizer Solo today. It's described as the size of a red bull can. Cost $160. People seem to really love it.

idk im not familiar w much on this subject, I cant even find a review or comments about it online, seems like it works but not enuff to burn anything and jus as the coil starts to glow it shuts off (3 secs) and the place where I bought it isn't much help, I didn't even ask them if they could show me what im was doing wrong but when I went in there to return it the first time they weren't very customer friendly but it is what it is

I would raise hell man. The owner of that head shop is buying the pen for $20 or less and then selling it for $100.

Thats how businesses work, buy something and sell for a profit. But what bothers me about your situation is that the product theyre selling for $100 wont ever work. Its a cheap ass e-cig pen that the head shop guy is buying super cheap, having them put XXX as a brand name, and then selling to people who dont know any better. Its not fair at all.

I would call the head shop and ask when the manager will be in. Then go there and absolutely demand a full refund. Tell him you posted your concerns on an internet forum that deals with these vaporizers and the members are telling you its a piece of crap product and you got ripped off.

When you go back I would ask if the shop has a mod or apv that you can test the atty on, by the way your describing it, it sounds like the battery is triggering a protection mode because the draw becomes too heavy for your specific battery which for safety concerns on that battery cause it to stop. I'm almost willing to bet that on a 18650 it'll fire like a champ.

Now even then, as far as flower vaping goes it probably won't be a good vape. In my experience every pen style attachment that claims to do both concentrates and flower always, while still being able to smoke, it almost combusts the flower rather then vaping, causing visible blackening of the flowers within the first few hits, and eventually reducing the flower to blackened ash mush by the time it's done. Anyone who vapes properly knows that their is always flower left at the end of a session, even if it darkened a hair and smells like burnt tea.

I've never owned a personal portable vape for flower, but for ease, concealability, and good vape production, I've heard a lot of good things about the Pax .

Hope it helps :)
