I am new to FC and looking to buy my first vaporizer. I resisted an impulse buy at my LHS of a MFLB for $250. After researching online I think the Solo is the one that would suit me best. I have seen all the great reviews for planetvapes but their sold out of Solo's at the moment. I see that Torontovaporizers has it in stock and gives free shipping and grinder. But I can't find to many reviews on them. Or is there another vender in Canada that has a great reputation? I also would like to know what accessories would someone recommend for a Solo to a noobie? Thank you!

I bought some shit from them a while ago so theyre fast shippers. Go ahead and buy that shit. You made the best decision not buying that mflb for $250. Thats crazy talk. Id tell them to take $250 change them to pennies and stick them up their asses.

That LHS needs to be burned to the ground for those prices.

And no, no issues. LOL we Americans buy shit all the time from PlanetVape! ;)

Plus Randy (the store owner) is one stand up dude. Ive had to return two faulty Solo units to them. Both times were hassle free and they paid for the return shipping!

They had a Solo for $350. I asked if they price matched and they said that's the lowest pric

Awesome! Thank you. I order stuff from the US for my e cigs and it's nothing but hassles at customs all the time.

puffitup is great, but easiest and best in Canada is through planetvape.ca.

Listed as $199. Not sure of the current promo codes. Here is what I found on a quick search:
FCLOVE10 - 10%OFF (Does not work on everything though)

February 9th they stated that they would be rolling out new coupons soon for FC members but the link is not working as of yet. www.planetvape.ca/fc.html
EDIT. thx Caligula. whoops admittedly skimmed the posts.

I think Canadian customs is a little more strict than the US - a lot will depend on how the seller declares and how much he declares it for. While I think there's a good chance it'll get to you fine, the biggest concern is that they'll charge you at least sales tax, plus another $10 processing fee. The exchange rate isn't as good as it was, so it might work out to be cheaper and a lot less hassle to buy it north of the border. You'll probably get it a lot sooner too.

I haven't looked into torontovaporizer, but I did contact support once and they were pretty prompt and professional in their reply. In general I wouldn't be too nervous about ordering from vendors with no reputation - you can always call your credit card company to reverse the charge if you don't receive it. It's always the burden of the merchant to prove to the CC company that they have shipped the item and authorized the purchase, and they get dinged with a chargeback fee regardless of whether the claim is valid or not.

If you don't want to wait on Planetvape, then buy from Toronto. You don't need a bunch of reviews. You'll get what you pay for, and won't have to worry about customs.

Here's another Canadian dealer. They've been around longer than any on-line reseller in Canada- http://vaporizers.ca/

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
I've dealt with all 3 canadian dealers/vendors mentioned in the past without issue ever.

planetvape does actually have them in stock - they updated their site yesterday morning to reflect it, in fact :)

They're the only people I deal with, as I have had issues with customs in the past and I don't see any better Canadian prices on what I want than at planetvape.
(I did try ordering my first Solo from Randy at puffitup, because I had heard of their great customer service. My solo never arrived due to customs issues, and Randy refunded my money.)

Do you know what the issue was with customs? Was it confiscated or returned to sender?

I assume it was returned to sender, however I didn't hear anything specific about it from Randy (I also assume that if it was confiscated instead of returned, I'd have been contacted by customs?).

I have bought both my vaporizers, from Toronto Vape and their service, shipping and discreetness are all excellent. Products arrive fast and are easily tracked through CanPost. So easy and stress free. I will buy from them again.
