I wanted to see what creative ideas people have to say what there vaporizer could be whether to hide from cops or someone in your house. I only own a pnp and vapor bro, so I will only post one those but I welcome all vapes and crazy visions we can make up for any vaporizer.

That's not a marijuana apparatus officer, its just a nose hair trimmer...

only a few i can think of that could fool ppl who are experienced in mary jane most common is the e-cig
filled thc oil juice or mix and for vapes would be the puff-it

honestly your not going to fool most ppl and certainly not cops if worried keep it clean carry pipe tobacco vape some if need be.

Bong prank 100% unfunny.
That assholes mother could be getting robbed, raped, and beaten, while this asshole is wasting community resources.
I hope that he is never in need of Police assistance while another asshole like himself is off doing the same.
@Buildozer ...the video itself is a good submission.. you did good.
It is the perpetrator of the prank that has pissed me off, for going through such lengths to fuck with some underpaid community servant, who will now hate stoners even more than he already did!

The same could also be said about the police for jumping to conclusions? They had no evidence that they were smoking "weed" out of that certified tobacco pipe so they why the hassle? That is what they are technically sold as correct? Idk I can see it from both sides.

Why the hassle? Really? He was hitting a bong out in public for Christs sake. . A bong is typically associated with weed, is it not? The jerk did it for attention and he got exactly what he was lookin' for.

I TOTALLY agree with Vito on this one. Punks like that just put up more speed bumps to legalized weed.

I agree with all of you!
The dude was an asshole, but the cops are being hypocrites and showing prejudice against waterpipes.
I like the pointing out of these ridiculous paraphernalia laws that require the product to be labeled for tobacco use. If they want to forbid people from smoking outside they should appropriate pass anti-smoking legislation. Because this guy didn't break any laws, he is just being an activist for a cause.

Prejudice against waterpipes? Achhh...............

The guy wasn't being an activist for a cause. The guy was being a jerk. Activists like that, we don't' need.

I disagree. Tobacco smoking is either allowed, or it isn't. Simple simon.

I do agree that he was acting like a jerk.
He could have been a LOT less confrontational about it while still making his point,
which is a very valid one.

One could go into a bank with a water pistol.. on a hot summer day, and act suspicious just to get a rise out of officials.
They could act weird and suspicious, and when thrown to the ground they could whine... "it is my right to carry my water with me in the hot summertime, to squirt myself."

I view that prank in the same manner.... only in the bank/waterpistol version the prankster might get what's coming to him.

I caught that video just a few days ago it is awesome nothing better then cop pranks haha.

I'm personally not worried about hiding it I pack the pnp haha. No but this was more of a creative/funny idea what ridiculous things could u possible say ur vape looks like cuz each ones unique and everyone got an imagination. I just wanted to keep it general some people have to hide from the cops cuz it still illegal where they r. Some have roommates or parents that they hide it from. Myself I have the freedom inside but its a jungle once I step out the door these cops love picking on smokers, when theres twice as bad shit going down the next block over haha easy targets I guess...

But to continue with the ideas, I think the solo with a bent stem looks like a futuristic water filtered cup.
And the vapor bro with the hose attached maybe a small electric air pump...?

This type of action is taken by some fringe firearms rights "activists" as well.

About 100% of the time its bad PR for gun lobbyists. This is no different.

But hey, its legal. Right?

I do not want this person in the video representing my views on anything mj related. As others mentioned before me, ths is not the way to bring any positive attention to the cause.

:rant:The officer states immediately after a one second sniff, he's free to go. Would any of us enjoy being "punked" for shock video publicly? I think that officer was pretty cool for what went down. I almost felt like if the guys would of like announced "haa we got you" or something like that, he probably would of kidded around back with them, imo. And I am not a leo sympathizer by any means at all. But this officer did what he is paid to do. Noticed very suspicious behavior, investigated by smelling after the guys quit acting like spolied sea-unts, and noted no law being broke, and was finished. What if the same officer is in you and your families neighborhood and sees a couple shady people with hypodermic needles in hand, looking ready to shoot up. Should he assume since needles are also used for insulin, to not investigate whether somebody may be speedballing out on the corner of your street? Please feel free change that analogy with anything that may be deemed suspicious to most of us. Burglary tools, guns(replica,bb,air rifles, real), 20 gal gas can and a big Bic lighter, whatever.

My father taught me at a young age to be careful what you go looking for because you may find it. These tools were looking for a reaction, and acted surprised when they got one. Shoulda let him smell your tobacco off the bat, he woulda said youre a weirdo and left probably, but then no shocking video to upload. Instead of a funny story to tell at the station, now he has even more negative connotations of that "tobacco water pipe" than he did before.

If anything I find this video to be a good example of where police need to be retaught. They should really be more observant, less assumptive, and forceful. Immediately they went towards grabbing and restraint when he was just obviously waiting to be interacted with. Even when he was walking I'm sure if they walked up to them they wouldn't have run, and that should have been the first sign that they aren't doing illegal activities, besides blatantly walking down the street with ridiculously huge water piece. With smoke already in it.

I don't know much about how the police should be doing their job, but an automatic attempt at arrest and restraint don't seem as effective as asking what's in the water pipe, smelling it for confirmation, and going back to business. They were just a little too excited at the chance to catch a foolish user.

A close friend and former LEO once told me that not every officer joins the force to offer their services to the badge, some join the force to see what the badge can do for them.

I think it's safe to say that there are assholes in EVERY profession. I mean, hell, I really respect our military and vets (I am one), but I also know that there are idiots who join the military just because they want to legally kill people.

I also know that power corrupts and anytime one straps a gun to their hip and who have legal power over others, such as law enforcement or the military, that while the intention of joining such organizations may have been honorable, that power can change the dynamics and not in a good way, ESPECIALLY when you factor in what they have both witnessed in the course of doing their jobs.

For me, I would be no more intolerant of those in law enforcement than I am of those in our military. Can we do a better job in personality testing to weed out the bad apples before they ever join? Yup. Can we do a better job at periodically checking in on their mental status after they've been on the job awhile? Yup.

And for those of you who have never been in the military or in LEO, you may want to step back a bit and ask yourselves that if you were ever put in those situations and witnessed what these guys have witnessed, if you yourself might just act a bit over the top.............or a LOT over the top.

Shit, the only way these guys are even getting a rise out of the coppers is the behavior exhibited after initial contact. Think of what the police are actually seeing when they roll up. It's not just one guy walking alone with a glass waterpipe, it's a group being obviously being filmed, that all turn their backs and act shady when approached.

Acting afraid, and attempting to evade a officer is legit grounds to get stopped and questioned. I'd wager these boys had to film MANY encounters with the fuzz to even get a few clips where the responding cops reaction is anything other than bemusement/mild annoyance.

Unlike vaporizers, you can't buy or sell bongs on eBay simply because they're so connected to mj use. Yes you can smoke tobacco in them, but I'm sure that few do so. A bong/waterpipe is considered drug paraphernalia and can get you busted. You might get the charges dropped if you can prove no mj residue, but unlike the guy in the video, you may get thrown in jail first.

I'm siding with those who think it's stupid and juvenile to bait cops and waste their time. The U.S. is in a state of transition concerning legalization, and these clowns aren't helping with their goofing around. They'd be more help for the legalization movement just staying at home and getting stoned.

haven't seen the video(I'm listening to music so can't watch it now), but I think smoking/having a bong in public isn't necessarily stupid/inapropriate. in my younger years(1-3 years ago) I have smoked bongs in public, and got away with it.
one of the most memorable was on a festival, but ofcourse festivals are different. this was a festival on a square in the citycenter, and there I met a guy who had broughtr a bong with him, so we formed a circle with some more people.
but there was also a time where one of my friends had just bought a bong, so we wanted to try it out. wich we did while sitting on a bench in the park.
and another time when a friend had his bong with him(a mini-bong) and we smoked bowl after bowl trough it somewhere next to a canal.

however from your comments I get the clip is more about just provocating with a prank. in that case it could indeed hurt legalisation efforts. but it could go the other way too, I once read that the decriminalisation in my own country(the netherlands) was partly caused by the actions of provo's(apparently they had a point-based game where you got points if you got arrested)(I don't know much about it because it's before my time), so I'm not really against such actions.

semirelated, whenever I hear of something related to policeprovocation it makes me think back to this clip:

the guitarguy in that clip is someone I kind of know(went to the same highschool, saw him dancing on the tables in the canteen a few times).
it's in dutch, so I'll translate some phrases:
when he is walking up to the cops, he says 'this is going to be fun'
he starts off with 'I want to turn in myself for a horrible murder', then when the police object against the camera being on them, he says they're corrupt while he walks away. the cop says 'have you ever had a kick under your ass?'(multiple times, kont=ass, schop=kick), and to shut up, after that the insult that made the cop punch him was that he called the cop a 'monkey in a uniform'

Awesome? Nothing better ?

*nothing funnier,
lots of things better haha. Sorry if u r one of them policy enforcers getting pranked, I could understand ur disapproval of wasting cops time on internet video jokes, but its all in good fun.

the wifi pax, the solo sub, and underdog a scented wax and essential oil aromatherapy machine are all great ideas.

Oh yeah nothing funnier than fucking with someone that's just trying to do their job :disgust:

I used to say my NO2 was a sex toy when asked, the same could be said for most portables. They don't question it because they don't want to know... and they sure as hell wont smell it. I've found there's no faster way to move the conversation away from said device.

Advanced apologies to the mods and to the members here for going off topic, but I just can't let stuff like this go.

All in good fun? Let me ask you a question. If someone pranked the fire department with fake fire calls, or if someone pranked 911 operators with fake emergencies, or someone pranked emergency room doctors with fake injuries, would you also state that that was also "all in good fun"?

And if you put the professions stated above in a different category than law enforcement when discussing these issues, than you are grossly mistaken. The primary job of all of these people is to help protect and keep safe the people that they serve and anyone that does anything to hinder that effort by creating distractions should be admonished for their actions and should not be taken lightly.........in my opinion of course. :2c:
