Rudeboy are you talking about the mp/pong or the glass? If glass yes to OF but if the former either look back in this thread or ask the person that tried it directly....t-dub. He tried a bunch of different things but I don't remember the results of the EC.

So yeah I couldn't find any ISO so I bought 70 % Aethanolum Dilutum. It worked great.
I used it for the mouthpiece and I didn't notice any damage on it. I just soked the pipe cleaner in it and went thru the moutpiece few times, washed it with water and everything is working ok. Clean like it came from the store :D
Thank you guys once again!

Sorry I am late getting back. The PonG thing is a mystery as my first ones flaked and degraded but the replacements have not, however, I have not subjected them to use, just ISO soaks. They might not hold up as well with regular use. I have moved on from this company for now so I do not see myself doing any more experiments along these lines in the near future.

Hi posted a problem I was having with my pn at the end of novemeber I think it was ignored/overlooked so here it is again.. I get a red.. not orange.. Red flashing light when I press the on button and I wont heat up it wont even turn off it just blinks away for about a min and then turns off I have had it for mabe just under a year now, it did go through about a day mabe two where it would do this but after repeatedly pressing the button it would work fine but now it wont do anything but flash red at me. I have tryed charging it for hours/days to see if that changed anything but no luck. Any one have a clue whats going on? It was not nice going thru xmas and new year :'(

On a side note I had also noticed my mouthpice rimm around the screen cracking and chipping away it was a bit scary as I didnt notice untill half was alreddy gone and I eat my abv!!! And I have never cleaned any part of my pn exept scraping the litte mouth pice that I put my lips on with a pin to remove some built up residue. No ISO has ever touched my pinnacle it has never been boiled, dropped, sat on etc I have cradeled it everywhere I have gone. I mention this as I noticed some one else mention it and the old iso chessnut was thrown in as an explanation

I have never seen a red light so have no idea. Someone else is having a green light which again had never been reported but there pn is working. Maybe there was a color change:shrug:.

Way earlier in the thread I reported about the mouth piece and it is called creep. They only hold up to the heat but so long. Time for a new one. Good luck on the other problem.

Maybe you already answered this, but why wouldn't you send it back under warranty? It sounds like you still have some time, unless it's the battery. If Warranty is not an option you can always try to "reset" it like @HalluciNate did. Check it out in the Pinnacle Pro thread Pg.96, start at Post #2393. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I love my Pinnacle Pro + water tube, couldn't be happier with my purchase. I have 3 vapes right now and I find myself using the Pro exclusively while the other two sit idle...

Has anyone had any luck with the flavor tips not melting, any tips to share? When I travel with it (not using the water piece) I use the mouthpiece. I found that I really enjoyed the mint flavor tip I received with my VB 2.0. Problem I read about, was that they were known to melt, which happened to mine within a few minutes of using it with the Pro (setting was on 2).

I tried one on 1 with the pinnacle and it got very soft after five minutes or so. I think the PNP is hotter on the first setting so it would probably get very soft and mushy at least if not melt.

I'll try it on 1. I wanna say I tried the first setting before and it didn't get hot enough for me.

Wonder if the different flavor choices have different lasting power or if they are all the same consistency / make-up?

I would think they would all be the same with different flavors and coloring. I tried using the tips on the palm 2.0 and found they took away from the sweet taste of the herb(still love the p2 and think its flavor is up there with the best). Now I'll just pop a life saver into my mouth while I vape.

hey guys...been using my pinnacle for several months now, got my girlfriend one too, we really like them. i noticed the other day when turning it off that if i held the button down for longer than necessary (7-8+ seconds), the light would start flashing green. it kind of freaked me out the first time, so i quickly turned it off, but now i'm wondering what it is...any thoughts? i know the pinnacle pro uses a green light as one of its temperatures, but i can't imagine a vaporizer having a "hidden" temp. considering it starts blinking green as if i had changed the temp, that's what i thought of, but i haven't let it continue for very long because i'm not quite sure what might happen.

unrelated, when we first got these i wanted to make a usb charging cable, but i wasn't able to source the connector that the pinnacle uses. but i just happened upon these forums so i searched and saw a post in the pinnacle pro thread about a hacked together cable, so maybe there's hope? does anyone have any info on the connector used to charge these? i didn't want to cut up the original chargers so we had something to fall back on, and the replacement chargers aren't cheap, so my project has been on hold until i find a better option.

Any color off of the blue and orange seem to always indicate trouble.. Is it one unit or both? I've used mine very heavily since I got it and have not experienced anything outside these two colors. Do you maintain a full charge on your battery? Did you follow through with an attempt at improvising an aftermarket charger? Was the unit in question displaying any other subtle irregularities prior to this event? We'll probably need more info to help you. If you are still under warranty with receipt, contact your vendor. If you still have not solved the issue I would refer you to VB customer service. I don't recall any issues like this throughout this thread but it this is an older (and longer) thread that I only read through 1 time. That was months ago. Exhaust the search function if you have not already.
Sorry I can't help, but there are brighter minds than mine here. Best of luck to you.

well i'm still not sure it's even an issue, like i said it only happens if i hold the button down for too long when going to turn it off. i've dropped my pinnacle a couple of times with varying severity, but my girlfriend's exhibits the same behavior and hers has been handled more carefully. i think i'll contact them because i'm just really curious now.

as for the aftermarket charger, i'm still waiting for a better option for the connector to the pinnacle. i was able to source the wall-wart part of the charger, but i couldn't find any information about the specifics of the jack. i thought i could get a replacement charger and splice the jack from that, but i can't seem to find those either.

OH! Look at me making a mountain out of a mole hill. Sorry about that man I haven't seen any mole hills lately so I don't even remember what they look like! That button is not great. Somebody on this thread modded a protector, small piece of padding with adhesive. Probably .5inx.5in with a smaller box cut out of the middle so the button is still exposed, but is no longer flush with the surface area around it. Basically a foam sticker that is worth its weight in gold. Boom goes the button issue. Throughout this thread Engineering clued us in that different lights were necessary for the programing and testing functions of each unit, but not for end user experience. So yea sounds like you've scratched below the surface. Very interesting...

There are some unhappy folks on the Pinnacle Pro thread. Folks are emailing VaporBlunt and getting no response. The mouthpieces that some have are deteriorating and so are some of the pongs. They have gotten the faulty mouthpieces that we heard about early on in the Pinnacle Pro thread. It seems like the folks that are using the higher temps are having most of the problems. The Pnp is supposed to handle oils.

Also members are waiting to hear about faulty batteries. TRVB hasn't gotten back to the thread in a while. It looks like there isn't much action on this thread lately.

TRVB said that they would be having someone to answer phone calls. Does anybody have a number to call other than the Wholesale number?

You know I only have the PN and mine are still getting jacked up. I said from the beginning these mouth pieces/pongs are not up to the job.

Hey Trill,

Sorry I didn't see this earlier but the connector (jack) for the Pinnacle side is a standard 3.5mm barrel connector. Here is a link to the usb to 3.5mm I use with my portable battery pack.

When I had my Pong Issue I could not get a reply out of anyone at Vapor blunt through TRVB, e-mail or calling. I had to post my qualms in the pro thread when it was coming out and TRVB was active in there to get a response. I was met with a rude and indifferent attitude and offered the same earlier version PONG that had melted on me leaving me to buy the one that I felt was safer and would not degrade. Luckily for me their E-bay supplier yoyokid actually offered me some C.S. and gave a discount on the new Pong independent of them.

When the Pinnacle was released there was talk about a buy back or battery exchange program of some sort that TRVB iirc said he would get back to us and something would be worked out for the PN users who have had batteries go bad. We were also assured that the batteries wold last so long we wouldn't have to worry about it .. I believe trvb said "It is the same type of battery in a cell phone and how often do you replace that".

Guess what happened when my battery started lasting about 50% and made this thing a home unit. No response by Pm or to any questions in thread or by e-mail.. Finally got someone on the phone only to receive a verbatim reading of the warranty and a confirmation that no offer was in place for people with perfectly good units that have bad batteries. Mine currently only lasts 2 sessions and only if done immediately off the charger.

I got MANY uses out of this thing and like it enough to consider buying a replacement. I do however regret spending what it was going for when it came out. And for allowing myself to be fooled into thinking that C.S. in this industry is more than smoke and mirrors. It seems early in the release C.S. was given in a public manner on forum enough for people to say that TRVB will "take care of you" and as far as i'm concerned it ended there.

I am shocked it took this long for someone to find this! (or at least find and post). When you hold it down for a long period of time and release the Pinnacle goes into calibration mode. This allows us to fine tune the temperature settings here at the factory. As long as you just shut it down (and only shut it down) if you get into this mode, no harm done. If you do any button presses other than turning the unit off, it will change the temp calibration and potentially damage the unit.

*for those of you who are now thinking of hacking the Pinnacle to make it a hotter unit, DONT! The heater core has been modified on the PNP to handle the hotter temperatures for that unit. Increasing heat settings on the standard Pinnacle can irreparably damage the unit.

So when you stated that the batteries could not be replaced because they would need to be re calibrated you left out the fact that they have built in calibration. In order to prevent tampering I assume?

It would be great if you guys offered support for perfectly good units with bad batteries. If not directly at least leaked the calibration settings to get it to Stock setup after the unauthorized end user battery swap.

To be clear I am not saying you guys should be replacing out of warranty batteries for free but instead offering a smaller battery swap fee or discount on a new unit.

I like the unit and the pro pong has held up great on my Og pn! The new Pong coming out looks promising as well. I am still on the fence about replacing the thing if it needs replaced yearly because we cant change a simple battery and will receive ZERO support on such a simple issue.

Must be an enjoyable unit if I would even consider replacing it after the attitude and lack of support.

Dang !! Down to one session per charge unless I run it again immediately.
One on low followed immediately by one on high is the most production I ever saw out of this thing.

I think I am moving on to another company since these are disposable and I can't justify replacing it every year when I could buy something that lasts.

Could someone help me out is the higher temp the only thing the pro can do that this cant

Also can the black MP from the PNP be used on PN

I'm thinking of getting a stealth portable ATM I'm thinking of this or MFLB or maybe save a bit and get the PNP

I will only use it for herbs and 390 will be hot enougth for me on the go

I will only use this for them ultra stealth vaping times

CS is all smoke and mirrors and very poor to almost non existent from certain companies .

If you do some research though thers some companies that provide amazing customer service and really do care. Thermovape, w9tech and vaporfection are by far the best in the industry when it comes to CS

FF is up there too but is too new to be sure.
