Plenty Users:

How often do you all clean your whips, bowl housing, screens, etc?

I have had my unit for about a year and eventually bought extra willing chambers, a second whip, and more misc items so that I could keep vaping while I soaked and ISO cleaned the original.

Over the last year, I have found the screens can stay relatively clean for about 5-7 days (I do approximately 6-10 half-packed chambers a day). The screens clean easy, as does the whip, mouthpieces and filling chamber.

BUT what is a PIA to clean are the liquid pads. Are there other, inexpensive sources for these? I find these get dirty the quickest and are a PIA to get thoroughly clean. For those that half-pack method and are using the liquid pads, how are you cleaning them? Are your pads staying tightly packed? I have one that looks like a golfball and pops out the screen on the bottom if I attempt to press into the chamber...

I am not the cleanest with my cleaning.Ive had the plenty as my main daily vape since Nov.My first liquid pad is a bit mangled. I bought a Plenty vaporizer set so had another liquid pad, housing, coil etc...

What I found with the liquid pad is that any hash or pollen really gunks the pad up and makes it rather misshapen. That could be down to me having to bash out bits of the liquid pad.So am using one pad for a hash herb mix and one juat for herbs. My first pad become misshapen with a few weeks. The second pad doesn't need iso soaking as often I've not done it yet but other pad gets regular clean. My sceeens get cleaned fortnightly and I have maybe 3 sessions a day with pad but more at weekend when I'll sometimes fill completely.

The lower chamber I use alcohol wipes on around the metal. For the top ive not cleaned the black plastic piece which attaches to the coil although keep meaning to chance it in dishwasher same with coil as the coil is stainless steel so should be ok in theory I reckon but not been brave enough to test it.

I just got a plenty today it works great but I have one concern. When I set the dial to 7 it goes directly to 420 degrees F and then the heater clicks off. When I set it to 5 it lands on 380 so this is what I have been using. I'm confused because according to the chart I received 7 on the dial should be 396 and 5 should be 352. Is the chart outdated or is my plenty malfunctioning? Still functions well at 5. Any help or info would be appreciated.

My own plenty goes up to 220 or what looks like that.Am in the UK so temps are different the hand book says it goes up to only 206 I think, after warming up I find it goes to the higher temp then drops and you've a little while till you can engage the heater again. I find as long as your pulling handle down on draws (this is what I tell my friends to do) your ok as it really doesn't drop by that much and you can easily get back up to temperature again. Hope that puts you at ease.

Mate i hear that new models have high max temp. So in old models 7 is like about 5/6 i new series....So maby that`s why you have high temp then on chart..

This isn't one of those devices that gives precise temp control. I generally start around 5/6 and end on 7. find what works for you and don't worry about the exact temp

Starting on 7 at first is still too much for me!

While it does not give precise temp control, I do find the Plenty vapes more consistently and evenly than any other vape I have tried. It does not do particularly great with small amounts of material, but it is still best of all the rest IMO.

Have any of your FC fellas figured out how to connect the Plenty to a water piece?

just figured a fellow FC'er might point me in the right direction... as a new person here, it is a bit more difficult to have already read each post from all the different threads I am interested in.

Don't bother helping Gweilo~ I don't need your efforts nor do I want you to strain yourself:D
I have found others on this site have been more than glad to help noobs like myself.

FlyingLow,
Whatever. So lazy dude. You will find most FC members will also suggest reading threads. They are a resource. Besides this thread is very short. Do yourself a favour and spend a little time reading the info others have already left for you.

@Mr. Gweilo 420 While I understand that you are pointing out one of our rules to @FlyingLow, specifically :
  • Lurk before posting. Please search and read before posting to see if your topic is already covered.
  • Read threads before posting in them. Thread rules may be outlined in the first post.

We also have another rule that states:
Please do not post any messages that harass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member. Be nice to newbies.
(emphasis mine)

I would be very thankful if you would please adhere to the entirety of forum's rules, and not pick and choose. It shouldn't be that hard to "be nice". We should all give it a try.

:peace:

Seriously? Go ahead and take some trophy points if you like. Lol
Honestly for a bunch of stoners you mods are ridiculous at times.

put the wooden end of the brush into the bottom right hand screw hole on the side opposite to the power switch, instant tripod

It is taking me some time to catch up in this thread; but this tip should be a sticky:D
Great simple mod to keep things upright and from shifting when using minimal amounts. Thank you for sharing!

^^^How'd I miss this...Holy shit! This is so simple, but NEVER crossed my mind (never ould have). I've tossed a few ideas around about a "stand", but this just killed it. DEAD. THX!

Def. sticky-worthy!

Curiousone,
Damn this thread is dead. Anyway, paired up The Plenty with the hose from the Roi Beast Hookah yesterday. It was great. Glass mouth-tip and nice long hose resulted in cool vapor and excellent extraction;

I thought the same thing, but came to this conclusion:
Maybe because this thing is so awesome, there's little else to say...

Umm...........LOTS of awesome vapes with threads that are VERY long and active.
