I'm not sure how I think they'd know I'm high, the solo never leaves me smelly.. It's just paranoia I guess!
that is all it is, paranoia. you will get yourself into more trouble than any other person possibly could get you into. another thing in life I've found is generally if you leave people alone and stay in your own space respectively(awareness) they will do the same. the ones that do not get ignored by me and then I get called a snob or something else for minding my own business and staying in my own space. it is really people being hitler like and wanting everyone else to be just like them so they can stay comfortable and predictable and when you are not they feel the need to challenge your choices, be yourself and do not waiver.

It is rather simple. If your colleagues and co-workers don´t know you enjoy C.s., there is little chance they will ever attribute your behaviour, however far removed from from "their" norm it may be, to C.s.

Friend of mine had a simple solution (that worked for him)... He always said "If you dont want them to know your stoned, dont ever let them see you NOT" (not stoned that is).... :)

Haha that is the best philosophy every. How will they know the difference. Vaping is a good alternative due to it being less detrimental to your organs. The worst part about smoking was the way you feel the next day, coughing and just feeling nasty. When I start vaping I noticed a drastic difference in how I felt. When I woke up after vaping the whole nite I felt a lot better and could be productive. I was still able to go workout in the mornings and function throughout the day. Vaping allowed me to enjoy my buds w/o stressing on how I feel after. I personally own a extreme q for the house and recently bought a firefly for the road. I have been very happy with my vapes and notice my buds lasting me longer over the longterm.
At first it seemed I was using more but once you really how many times you can use the buds when vaping versus smoking you get a lot more hits out of it.

you can save your vaped material and add it into edibles or make hash with it and vape it again as hash. can't beat getting high off of the same material a few times, efficiency at its best

End of November I ran dry and proceeded to Vape my used vape. I have a big ol´masons jar filled with the stuff. A mix of homegrown and all sorts of strains from Amsterdam.

Put on your best Sammy Davis Jr. face and say "It´s a trip Man!" I vape fresh at 190 celsius, and vape vaped bud at 200.

Not a morning Vape!!!!

I like to be medicated when I workout. I get really get into it and I get real intense. The workout doesn't seem to last as long. Also I wear earbuds and listen to music, it works well for me.

At my old job I would vape before and during my shift. It was the only way I tolerate being in that hellhole. Now I have a job that is demanding mentally and I am just not efficient when I am high.

My boss actually recommended that I use herb for my IBS. He knows that I use it recreationally after a long convo about legalization, alcohol, and hard drugs. Kind of weird sharing that with him but he was into all kinds of drugs in college.

I use an energetic kratom strain at low dose as well as a mid grade sativa on low temp from time to time during the work week. It helps when I'm in a slope and need to numb out some repeative physical labor. My endurance is increased and my productivity spikes as long as I don't overdo either herb.

On a side note I consider them to be back ground substances in moderation based on personal knowledge of tolerance. God knows not everyone is good at this and can ruin it for others. Be very careful when doing anything illegal even pot with coworkers. Trusted or not twisted shit happens quick in the workplace.

Old school imports used to keep me going all day and all night.

Modern domestic weed either spaces me out where i cant get anything done, or makes me daydream about taking a nap under my desk.

Columbian gold, swazi gold, it dont matter, way more energy, way more smiles.

People think I'm full of shit when I talk about the brick we used to get tripping us out like shrooms without the "social ackwardness" and "personal problems" if anyone gets that lol

I vape and do college work, i find that in times of mass procrastination, when all i want to do is sit there and vape instead of doing my study, i can just vape up, then, i have no excuse, i am stoned and there is still work to be do and thus i must do it while being stoned, i cant sit around and be annoyed that i am not high or that i cant vape, i am vaped. Thus no excuses.

I used to take t breaks for my exams, i dont anymore, the sleep deprivation from being unable to sleep when stressed the night before an exam is not worth it.

Dude this might get printed into sme sort of corporate charter / bible over in my brain... So simply inspiring to atually do things! Wow

Hi
I started smoke mj 2 years ago, often joints without tobacco and sometimes bongs...I never interested goin into vaping but after got some cronic coughs, bad mornings, short breaths on my bbuilding workouts (6 times/week) and loses on my work times, i decided to quit it, at least tried to quit completely but after 2 months of break, i still miss her, maybe more than ever...Because i realised that its my natural antidepressant. But I still like t-breaks every 2 months (max) to recover my mental health and etc. So, two weeks ago i started read a lot about vaping, their difference about high, health etc compared to combustion..What i found on my research is that its something i need and just which was waiting to be discovered. So It was very exciting for me because i never vaped or saw anyone vaping around me, people around me uses joints and bongs, no one knows about vaping. Whatever, I have decided to buy best portable one and ordered a davinci ascent for myself, its on way now.
What i wonder is, when i smoke joints, and plan to start works, i get very lazy for everything almost all the time and doing wrong things, mixing jobs, forget to what to do next and this really affected my work plans so bad, i started lose huge amount of profits (own business) and time. I see some of you say vaping high is more clean high and makes u functional, if its a really big difference compared to combustion, its completely what im looking beside health advantages. And they state that it makes you more sociable, what do you think, is that true that vaping give more sociable high ?

thanks

Personally, I have found that vaping at low temperatures gets me pretty high and less functional, but higher temperatures, while not tasting as good imo, gives me more of a head high where I can still work easily.

I think that's the higher temp CBD's keeping the lower temp THC in check... ;)

special like everyone else
... I know that if i vape a small enough quantity, i get great focus and not go hazy discovery time on the internet if it's my free time.
You'd think after being a stoner for 15 years I'd have dosing figured out by now. Collective experience like this thread and having an MMJ card is helping me figure it out I hope.

"Hazy discovery time on the internet" takes up more of my time than I'd like to admit, and my compulsive tendencies (and latent insomnia) make it very problematic transitioning from internet (or whatever tail I'm chasing) to bedtime.

Procrastinating this transition as a life style keeps me regularly deprived of sleep. Regular symptoms are stuttering, forgetfulness, ADHD etc you know the drill - which probably doesn't help the bipolar disorder or manic depression. After enough rinse and repeats, I'm early 30's, my internal clock is backwards, living check to check, STILL almost always 5 minutes late, sleeping at dawn and waking in the afternoons before work. More on that in some other thread later.

Anyways, dosing. At work I'm teaching (sometimes babysitting :p) kids one on one on a tight schedule with lots of facetime with parents. In my early twenties I could communicate clearly no matter how stoned I was but after a decade of sleep deprivation, I can't find my words if I'm stoned and my patience is being taxed, which is no good for expensive 30-minute sessions. I can toke no less than 2 hours before or I have difficulties.

On my good days (after a few consecutive days of 6+ hours sleep) ADHD is still an issue, and I can imagine a little sativa would help.

Im a waiter and normally I get high before work. Sometimes dabs, hash, or just bud. I have to remember up to 12 peoples orders along with their drinks sometimes off the top of my head and constantly interact with people and under a great amount of stress. Ill even sneak off every once in a while to the bathroom and use my MFLB on really long nights/days. Ive never had a problem performing while stoned, but then again I enjoy the extra stress on my mind of having to maintain.

Yeah, I think this is exactly what's going on. Too low a temp for vaping (i.e. too much THC compared to CBD) is something I try to avoid b/c it has led to panic attack symptoms for me in the past.

xRUFUSx, you could be my twin, haha! My advice to you is this: get a routine!

I fall into old habits with relative ease, and i find myself procrastinating a lot still. ADHD is a bitch.

Nowadays i decided that ADHD is not really something real, although my experience correlates entirely with ADHD symptoms (i fit the predominantely inattentive subtype. )
I tried the Concerta and my heart was always racing so i quit. Plus i couldn't use cannabis as they said it could interfere with the meds.

Nowadays what i do for my ADHD is: meditation, exercise and good food (plenty of vegetables and omega 3 and good fats. If you're vegetarian, be sure to eat lots of eggs.)
Martial arts are great as well. Music too. Dancing also. Essentially something that keeps you focused and having fun at the same time helps curb the symptoms a lot.

As for the lack of sleep and the pc-bed transition, that is the hardest part. Even as i write this i know i will only sleep 6h because i need to finish some work that i procrastinated from last week. And i just spent 30min writing a long email to a girl friend. :D
EDIT: make that 3h30 of sleep. iei. procrastination FTW.

My advice about this is: don't stop trying. don't give up. everyday try to actually go to bed early, and find something that will keep you off the laptop in the last half hour before sleep.

Essentially, you need to come up with a set of things that you thoroughly enjoy doing, roughly plan them throughout the week and keep repeating these patterns until they are natural to you.

A bed time routine helps a lot as well. I always do push ups, squats and meditation before sleep. I always do meditation after i wake up (much harder but i do it even for just a minute as that is way better than nothing at all.)

Regarding your herb usage while working, in my current job i couldn't be at my top shape if i was high so i reserve my consumption for after work and/or after dinner during the weeks. I notice the tiredness like you do now, when i didn't before.

After you turn 30, and close to that age, your body starts to process things differently and you can't force it like you did before. And unlike many seem to think, cannabis is not devoid of dangers, especially if you over do it regularly like so many of us do.

I have two jobs - one where I vape all the time, and one where I wouldn't even think about doing it.It depends a lot on what you do. The vape-job is as a handicapped persons assistant (But only at night when she sleeps - she has muscular dystrophy and respiratory problems, so she has a person working for her 24/7, and I'm on the night-team). During a 12 hour shift I probably have to do something for a total of 30 minutes, so I just get high asap and do whatever I want. Watch movies, work out, take care of personal stuff and so on. The only thing I can't do is fall asleep, so moderation is needed. Nothing about this job would be impossible no matter how high I am.The non-vape job is at Microsoft (Promotion and sales). Completely different story, I'm on during my whole shift having to talk to customers and journalists at expo's (etc.), and never have I even thought of getting high. Don't think it would benefit me or even be pleasant at all - It's the absolute first thing I do when I get home though.Cannabis is completely illegal in my country, so this is from a purely recreational point of view. If I needed it instead of wanted it I would probably reconsider, although people are different. Some of my friends would surely not be able to consume cannabis and work at the same time, although I have always done it to some extent, and never have any negative impact.

Workn high is the only way I do it! I am lucky enough to be able to do what I love and get stoned doing it. I dont necessarily get blistered but when I take 5 I get a solid buzz. I work for myself, I work as hard as id like or take off and spend time with my family when I need too. I work wood and am blessed to be in the business I am in. I am thankful that people dig my work and allow me to continue to doing what I do.
