Yea, mastering the techniques makes it a vape that satisfies all my vaping needs. I feel I have full control with the MFLB, even moreso with the PA. I know pure convection is what is considered the optimal heating method, I actually like conduction in the instant vapor producing qualities.

I completely understand why the MFLB draws such mixed reviews. It really rewards patience and a dedication toward mastery. Once I started fully browning my trench and achieving multiple visibly cloudy hits during my sessions, its size and simplicity made its place in my arsenal crystal clear.

I have a magic flight coming in the mail. Any tips?

There are already videos on their site and in this thread on vaping technique. IMO the reason why something like the Solo works better for the average user is because everyone is more accustomed to just sucking out vapor like drinking a milkshake. With the MFLB, my technique is moreso "pulsing" the draws. Watching a video will definitely help you understand this better, especially on how to coordinate the heating. Once you get good at it, you can ride that line right before combustion to maximize your material. Outside of that.. the MFLB likes dry, finely grounded material. Invest in a high quality 2 piece grinder. They generally grind finer than the ones that separate everything. I have a Space Case titanium.

Check spam? I see you're in Spain, we had a holiday here on Monday so they have all of the weekend's emails to sort through plus whatever came in Monday. I usually give companies 3 business days for emails, so if you don't get anything by tomorrow I'd send something over the weekend, but then don't expect a reply until Monday at the earliest again.

Oh nuts, my PA seems to have crapped the bed today, still pushing out the proper volts from the A/C plug and ranging from 1V at smallest dot-2V at biggest dot, from the banana plug, but not reading any amps from either. Going to try the car adapter tomorrow and see if it's just the A/C plug. Maybe the ones that wont work when turned to full power are defective...

Hey Ant call or email magic flight. They may send you a replacement ASAP.
My beta pa never worked continuously at full power, but works flawlessly at all of the lower power settings that I normally use.
Actually I've been using Batts and hitting it native for that untethered
Vaporizer experience. Watching TV with the Lb ;easier than smoking a joint.

A question to all of you who have already been using a bubbler for vaping (especially with MFLB):
I've always been interested in getting a bubbler and now that I see that MF is releasing a nice compact one, I might finally get one.

I know the main reason for the bubbler is for colder vapor and potentially using the water as a "filter". Do you guys feel its really needed for the MFLB? What pros and cons do you guys see in using a bubbler with the MFLB, any additional benefits?

Over the falls, in a barrel
Using the launch box through water does cool the vapor, as does simply running it through a whip to increase distance. Another option with water tools is using very warm water, which has a moisturizing effect on the vapor.

IMO the biggest benefit is that it's fun. I enjoy seing bubbles fill with vapor and burst, watching the water move around and seeing the glass fill with vapor.

I don't think it's "needed" by any means.

As for the Orbiter, I really like the wood base and the metal they used. Not to mention the fact that the metal arm is there in the first place, pretty cool… I wish it came in walnut! I think that the whip draw design is interesting and appealing, and would make it a unique experience compared to other glass.. I think that if you had a safe way to store and transport it, coupling it with a battery powered launch box would make for a neat "picnic vape"!

I'd like to try putting some kind of 45º->90º adapter on there so that you could use the mouthpiece from the 'Infamous' bubbler, just to see what it would look like…

Edit: Just noticed that you see the MF logo when you look down the intake. Nice!

Stickyy icky
After 4 months with my first MFLB I lost it the other night during a bad snow storm. Not sure if it fell out of my pocket or what happened. But when I got home it was gone. Girlfriend helped me trace my steps and after a few hours of single digit weather and high winds I gave up entirely. I loved my LB and I've babied it. I take care of my things and shocked myself when I noticed it was missing. I'm still devastated.

Luckily I had some tax money laying around and was able to purchase one of the mflb club Bare box'. I decided to go with Cherry this time and I think she's going to stay at home for a while. Plugged into the PA waiting for me to get home. I'm hoping when the snow melts I'll find my old one and might be able to warranty it. Or I hope the new owner is happy with his or her find.

Maybe just maybe I will be able to pick up the orbiter in the near future.
