Question about Diffusers/Percs

Hey guys, been a while since I posted here. Got some great tips a while back and have been vaping happily for years with my Arizer Q Extreme....anyways, I had it hooked up to a no frills GonG bong using a nice downstem I got custom made.

Well, it's all busted now, so I'm in the market for new glass. What I truly enjoyed about the setup I had was the volume of the vapor hits I could take. It didn't have any diffusers/percs anything like that, just a nice downstem and an ice pinch with a fat bottom and a decent height. Probably around a 15" bong.

Well, I'm looking at these stemless bongs, they look nice but most of them come with a diffuser/perc if not more than 1, multiple levels. Is this a good thing, or a bad thing for vapor? I did some reading about vaping with bongs and seems like the loss of effect is minimal if even existent.

What are your guy's experiences with using bongs that have diffusers and percs built in?

Specifically, this little number has caught my eye: http://www.everyonedoesit.com/onlin...arm-tree-percolator-bong.cfm?iProductID=11019

Thanks in advance for any input/opinions! If this is a redundant question, I apologize. I did some searches and couldn't find much about this specific topic.

I'm in the US. I've been looking at some bubblers too, feel like they won't have the same impact though as the volume of rips I used to get from my bong. I thoroughly enjoy the action of clearing.

You can for sure get a bubbler with large volumes. As for the diffusion, less is usually more for vapor. Not always tje case but rule of thumb is more diffusion gives smoother hits with less taste and vice versa.

Ill try to be more exact when I get free time.

Whats your budget and other criteria? Size? Type of joint? Etc...
Budget would be anything up to 200, size I'd say around 13-16" entire height.
EDIT - I still should have my 18mm hose adapter actually, so an 18mm female joint would be best, though buying a 14mm adapter wouldn't be a big deal.

Heady for sure, they always seem way more expensive though.

Lot more work goes into those given equal build quality. Anyway, you're right in that you will probably get more bang for your buck with scientific. As for the heady stuff, thats all really personal and subjective. Plus it really limits quality and/or selection given your budget. Yea?

Im thinking stuff like this:

http://www.brotherswithglass.com/JM_Flow_Straight_Angle_Neck_Inline_Perc_Water_Pipe_p/bwg-jmf016.htm

http://www.brotherswithglass.com/C2_Custom_Creations_65mm_Ratchet_Bubbler_p/bwg-brb65.htm

http://www.brotherswithglass.com/American_Glass_60mm_Straight_Water_Pipe_p/bwg-bwgag001860.htm

Of course thats just one website... however it might give you some ideas? Also, FWIW, I can get some lungbusters with my 65mm bubbler!

Thanks for all the help!
That one for 160 looks just about perfect. Not a crazy amount of filtration, but a nice inline stem. I'll check out this site for sure, been mostly browsing Everyonedoesit and dhgate.
