Strains For Nausea?

The noob is back :). My solo shipped out (being fedex'd out of Texas) so I want to place my dispensary order soon so they arrive close together. In my reading on here and across the net ive gathered up a few strains that people said were helpful for nausea in particular. Now I need to narrow it down as I only have about $60 to spend and want to get a good variety. They average around $15 - $22 a gram so I can get a few.

Here is the list of products ive come up with though feel free to add any you have experience with and I will check in with the dispensaries in the area.

Sour Diesel (bud and keif)
Platinum Girl Scout Cookies
Blue Dream
Maui OG
Purple Sour Diesel
OG Keif
Jilly Bean Bubble Hash

As a newbie who has never smoked or inhaled ive read some can be harsher than others. I would like to give myself the best odds for a good first experience an wonder what you all would recommend :). Like I said if you know of another good strain for nausea that isn't to harsh and wont send me flying (never had any recreation experience of any kind so being high kinda freaks me out right now) please chime in.

Oh an I listed the keif and hash on their since I have read about people getting better results sandwiching them with other buds. So advice on that welcome as well :)

You all are fortunate. It's difficult to get a card here.

I'm going in for a follow up scan PET/CT and I'm not too optimistic this time. So I might be interested in reading more about strains. I guess leafly is good for that too.

I'm a 3x cancer survivor and my new oncologists seem to be amazed that I'm still alive given my previous treatment (or lack thereof, rather).

Last time I had multiple rounds of a mix that included adriamycin, the "red devil". I'd go in for 4 day infusions at a time. Although I didn't use that time, I think I will this time. No sense in feeling queasy if something other than prescribed anti-emetics will help. I've had 6 rounds of chemo and about 70 sessions of radiation and recently radiosurgery as well. 4 major cancer related surgeries. I'm disabled as a result.

I get major scanxiety due to the fact that a previous hospital ran the wrong protocol on a PET/CT for someone with my condition and on top of that misread the scan. The misreading wasn't even influenced by the wrong protocol. It was a major f'up. Fortunately, it did not change my treatment which I received a new hospital. The lesion was benign.

GSC seems to be the fave right now. I like the og's, but they are typically funkier. Purple sd, while it might be good, seems riskier. Is there even a real strain by that name? Probably just some closet breeder. Jilly bean is super sativa dom and some might find it too energetic. Blue dream is an overused name, most are haze crosses (high sativa content). I know mystic does a good one that uses dj shorts bb and is actually an og x.
I have fought nausea for decades and what works for me is super high thc content - diesels and og's usually qualify nicely. I would also recommend chemdog or any chemdog crosses.
Try it at home and gauge results for yourself. Don't freak out too much, it's not like getting into meth. Worse case you'll raid your fridge, fall asleep and wake up a few pounds heavier.

Great cancer/mmj video:

Im sorry its so difficult where you are :(. I went somewhere more reputable but these "pop shop" docs in LA I hear you can pretty much get a card if you say your stressed out. Im sorry for all the difficulties the medical mishaps have caused you. You have already been through so much they shouldn't add to it. Hope you can fin a strain to help get you through treatment easier this time.

Ive been on leafly but didn't find it very helpful. People end up posting more dispensary reviews than anything about the actual strain. It did give me a launch point though for researching.

Good to know about the GSC ive heard it doesn't taste as bad. Thanks for the warning on the PSD I have seen it around at a few places but don't know much about it. I haven't seen any bud in chemdog just wax/oil/shatters and such which are very expensive for a newbie like me. One gram of that would take my whole budget plus some.

Lol I like your description of the side effects :). Seeing as im 5'8" and 83 pounds (got weighed today) I can use the poundage! Thanks so much for the helpful input i'll add those to my list when it alk to the dispensary. Im hoping to get half AM strains and half PM strains that way I can sample sativa, indica and hybrids.
