Vaporizing Mint

Is it safe to grind up Mint leaves bought at a grocery store and vaporize them? Do they need any preparation?

I was going to add it some cannabis to see the effect.
Get some good quality peppermint tea. Add a pinch to your favorite herb, or just use it by itself in your favorite vape. Tastes nice and feels minty cool. Relaxing! Enjoy!

I tried some peppermint today. It felt like mouthwash, minty-fresh. The taste was very strong. I probably could have used less, but hey, peppermint is cheap.

Does anyone has real experience in mixing mint + mj - especially regarding potential waste?

My gf is good with mj, but she can't stand the smell and especially the taste, even with the finest buds, weird as it is, but mixing it with mint might be a solution I can live with

I have. Not sure what you mean by potential waste. The good news is, just a small amount of mint will completely cover the smell and taste. The bad news is, whatever instrument you're vaping out of will taste like mint for a very long time.

I think I added some mint to ground cannabis before.
I believe it worked as long as I didn't go too high on the temperature.

Sounds like a decent plan if you like Peppermint. I know I do.

What I meant by potential waste was if mixing mj with mint could somehow result in not getting the full potential out of the mj by..I don't know.. science.

I already vape a mixture of mint and other, non really medical herbs at work trying to quit the smokes with.. and yes, the taste is durable.. But luckily the Ascent currently using came with a whole replacement air path so I switch that out every time something else comes in.

And yes ofc I could just give it a try..but I'm currently running frighteningly low on supply (but I can has as much mint as I want wohoo -.- ) Doesn't sound like a danger to the trees so far, thanks

No danger to the trees indeed. To get the last bit of actives out of your meds you turn your vape up, right? At these temps the mint will have lost all the mintyness and the usual ABV smell comes back. Other than that, no issues whatsoever.

I've vaporized dried mint leaves (intended as tea), liked it! It's very cooling and refreshing on the throat. Couldn't feel any effects, but I was already high from cannabis

Because mint is dirt cheap and i don't worry bout efficiency , i like to load bowls as big as possible and vape them on temps lowest as effective :) (to feel taste) .. I don't mix cannabis with mint cause mint taste like ass when you overheat it which happens in temp range needed to proper extract the expensive herb in the mix..

Glad I found this thread, very interested in vaping other herbals for medicial effect. Mint steam help with my sinuses (I have a small structural defect, family trait) but it annoying to keep hot. Maybe vaping can give a similar result.

What temp are you folks using for dried mint?

The book says up to 140°C for mint.
I found this gives nice minty bags on my EQ.

Vaping would give you even better results!

Try Thyme and White Sage too. Especially try to find Thyme and give it a go, might do wonders for your sinuses.

You're welcome. The good book says up to 190°C for thyme. I vape mine usually at around 170°C. Good luck
