Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

ok I been looking at the titanium KISS but I am a little confused about the ordering options.....

I don't own any W9 gear and I want to put it on a Variable Voltage device with a 510 connector... Now I know W9 is a 601 so I will need a 510 to 601 connector.....

and I'll want a 3.7 volt coil

but what about the other options? Vaporizer Type? Why is there a difference? Omicron, omicron lite, O-Phos, Persi?

Hi, first post here and an amazing resource! From UK sides so fairly new to concentrates but loving them!! Fully converted and have purchased a fair few products looking for the perfect one. Recently discovered UP Tech products and have to say the very best have tried so far all round! Loving the titanium kiss carts and they work equally well when don't want to take my persei out and just attach to G Pen battery for stealth. Have been non stop using a week with no degradation as of yet so one happy customer!

I also recently purchased the Okeanos Bubbler - I'm having a few problems with it and was hoping someone could help me out or if W9Tech's website would post up some instructions?

The problem at first was water being sucked up, then was leaking slightly and now having fixed the first two I can not get any airflow so have to toke really really hard to get anything! Smoke is definitely coming through but need olympian lungs to get it and the water doesn't really bubble like it should. Can anyone think what am doing wrong? And maybe there's a special way to fill it with water that am missing (currently screw the pole in, place water a third of the way in the tank and seal and screw on drip tip tight - if loosen drip tip can get a toke with water and if tighten then no toke at all as no air allowed thru).

Congratulations on making the switch and welcome. Id offer to help but I do not have an Okeanos. Im sure @THC SCIENTIFIC or @Sleepin in CA would be able to Trouble shoot with you.

And yes that Hercules is 100% a smart investment if you are switching to concentrates.

As for a Hercules...it will change your life. If you can afford it, get the Nibbler XL as well. Simply amazing. My daily driver setup is the wand....Hercules sr71.......and NXL.....pure heaven.

Can't wait to get the hercules! Only a couple more weeks now!! I was looking at the nibbler XL and tis a beauty. My only concern is that it would appear that UPTech are moving away from that style of cart which would be a shame if spent all that money and that happened. I've really enjoyed those carts tho - really handy for when don't want to keep refilling and the two that have used so far have been working brilliantly! I hope that these carts or an improvement of them continue to be developed as real handy to have the options imo...

I'm hopeful the concentrate scene lifts off in the EU. Strange that not even able to find easily in Amsterdam - they don't know what they missing out on! However, at least encourages me to get scientific and make my own which is great fun

Thats how ive always cleaned mine. 99% iso soak, and I carefully use a paperclip to clear out the air holes on the side of the cart as well as to get at stuff seriously stuck inside ceramic bowl.

After the soak I just shake out the excess iso and do a quick burn off by hitting the power.

Also IDK if this has been fixed on the Ti carts but the ceramic bowl used to rotate if you weren't careful while digging around in there with that paperclip. I wasn't careful one day and the bowl twisted so much the heater wire broke.

Anyway keeping my finger on the bowl would have prevented that.

The Nibbler XL is for the Hercules. Not a cart. The standard Nibbler is for a cart. I wouldn't advise the Nibbler.....As I don't own one. The NXL though is a must if you can afford it. Amazing flavor and nice cool rips!

I just recently got a nibbler x to use and i am in love. I've only used it with the 2.4 ohm carts but it's great with these. I would imagine it's even better with the 1.5 ohm carts. I would definitely recommend this purchase to anyone using the carts. I personally don't notice any loss of flavor but the hydration and diffusion lend a much needed break for my lungs...

The Nibbler X is indeed great to have for the original carts - it greatly tempers the taste and provides great visual feedback when learning how to use them properly. As an added bonus, it just looks kick-ass.

Can these break from excessive heat? Other than that is just sits in my pocket. Well im using the 3.7, and i burn "until" its dry, so guess the answer is yes. The heat factor crossed my mind but i figured its ceramic so no worries. Is it possible to fry the ceramic wic?

Well, rapid heating and cooling can cause thermal expansion and contraction and that an lead to cracks... however I've no idea how this relates to the ceramic wick. Id think that it doesnt help if the wicks are already fragile though. In either case W9 suggests NOT doing dry burns to help increase the life of the heater. G wasnt too clear as to why though.

On an aside, Ive yet to break any of my wicks.

From my experience the Ti KISS is a better performer. It seems to heat a little faster. When new and clean it definitely has a better taste. When it is well "seasoned" I cannot really taste any difference between the two. That just means that I prefer to keep it clean. As for durability, only time will tell. The coil is a very thin wire being exposed to many heating/cooling cycles so eventual metal fatigue and breakage are inevitable. Best to be gentle when loading and cleaning/reclaiming. That said, the Omicron with the Ti KISS is my daily driver because of the small pocket-friendly size (especially with the SS kit).

Yes it will work... you will use the fill tool (funnel) and melt the wax/crumble into the original cart. There are a number of vids demonstrating this, and while it appears a challenge the first time, it will surprise you how simple it is.

Hello Vicki let me answer before I go into surgery. The original cartridges can work with wax, and crumbles. You would just need to be careful and understand the rules to have a trouble free operation.

1. Never press the button and hold it if your not inhaling. When doing this people tend to think they are warming up the cartridge but in reality are just creating vapor and allowing it to sit in the air tube and when vapor touches cold surface it reforms back into oil. Major cause of clogging and leaking. So right before you press the button start inhaling.

2. Keep inhaling after you let go of the button to clear up all the vapor inside l. Once you exhale do another inhale for about 20 seconds to cool the cartridge down. Or press the button and go for another hit. When doing consecutive hits this means you would need to cool it down more. We suggest cooling it down after every hit for about 20 seconds or if you do hit back to back just cool it down longer.

3. Do not load more then .6 grams this helps with leaks and clogs

That is about it. You shouldn't have any issues if you follow these directions.
