Recyclers - Discussion and Appreciation

Deadshort480

We're here to fuck shit up.
Nice. Ill have to check that out but it looks like they are specifically for oil rigs?

On a related note I found this awesome recycler hydratube designed by Gordo!

That's made by Swagger. Gordo Scientific made, I believe, three Recycler hydratubes for AA at ChiTown Boro. I own one, @TheSkipper owns one, and AA owns one. Gordo and the Swagger guys are friends so I'm guessing Gordo showed them what they needed to know to create the Swagcycler HT.

Just to let everyone know. There is zero issue with water making it's way back into the GonG joint. I have not had one issue with mine and I've used it regularly since receiving it.

OIC, I think I copy and pasted the wrong video? I hate IG...

Anyway, Im taking to AA now about getting a clear Gordo recycler w/ inline perc. Ill let you know how it goes, but I think hes saying they are on backorder.

I spoke to AA about a clear inline recycler too and he said he would be getting more in stock soon. Let us know how you get on :)

the one on the right will be here next week with a female adapter as well. Sort of a gridded disc perc type deal going on.
IMO that one on the right is an inverted showerhead :)
That kind of perc stacks like crazy...
I'll be expecting major funnel action if water input is at the right angle pointing to the side wall to create the "vortex" at the cone chamber...
Happy waiting..,

Its right in between a gridded disc or inverted circ sort of. Its basically a gridded disc thats been raised with a little "bump", just doesent have the full shaping of a circ though. Should be here wednesday and Ill post some of vids of its use with the E-nano and possibly a dab or 2. EDIT: here is kind of a close up of it, not a good angle at all though.

Never see them that big. PR, told me once that once you get over a certain size it won't/doesn't recycle right.
If I remembered his advice wrong I apologize, but I'm 95% certain.

Did you water test it?
I have seen ones that could fit inside this one go for 200-300.

I did not, didnt have time. IIRC, PR also said SB makes the most technically sound recyclers (from a mechanical aspect)? Maybe @PhotoRider can elaborate?

Also, unless i can talk them down to well south of $300 out the door, im not interested.

I think there might be issues if you try to take the design of a small recycler and scale it up, but a properly designed big recycler can still whirlpool:

Water test, maybe 275? It's what it's worth to YOU!
But again, for that kind of money you could hunt down a used Earl Jr, or like others said get a gordo for the recycling function unless what you want is the large volume!

The video shows some kind of convertible dome, the pics of the piece don't show that. Which did your's come with?

Why is it that 99% of the recyclers I see have male DI joints? Are these only used as nail rigs for the most part? I know I can get a F/F adapter but id ideally like an 18 (or 14 if need be) mm female recycler...

Talking Chitownboro about getting a Gordo with an 18mm female or a Slugworth 14mm female.

Anyone up to spec on the Slugworth rigs? The vids and pics on his IG page show well functioning whirlpools and clean lines (on the non worked, worm laiden pieces... IDK WTF is up with that motif).
