Looking for Stealth, Portability, Reliability, 3 in 1 vs Separate Devices.

I’m new to vaporizing. Only smoke average once a day, usually when I’m out doing something. Want to switch to vaporizing for health reasons. I’ve been researching on this forum for a few weeks now and have spent countless hours reading posts. Was about to just go get a MFLB, but the perfectionist in me wouldn’t let me do it without asking you guys. Since I’m usually using it on the go, it would be nice to have one that fits nicely in a pocket and it would also be nice if it was stealthy enough that it could be whipped out anywhere. I know the MFLB is small, though I was thinking that something that could be passed off as an e-cig might be more stealthy as most people would just assume that’s what it is. Just found out my girlfriend has some hash and some bho that would be nice if I could vaporize as well. Are there any good vaporizers that can do both or is it better to have two separate devices?

Also like sharing, so it would also be nice if it was not too difficult to use.

I assume hash and bho would fall into the wax category, what do they mean though when they say a vaporizer is for liquid?

The bho she has is hard and breaks if you try to bend it, would that make it shatter? How do you go about breaking off a suitable piece?

How many hits can you typically get when vaporizing flower vs hash or bho?

Are any of the pen vape’s they mention any good, as seem like they would fit the bill of small and stealthy?

From your preferences, i would go with the Pinnacle Pro.

BHO and hash give way more hits than flowers, they can't even be compared and the number of hits depends on a lot of factors... too much to give you an accurate number. Why do you want to know the number of hits?

Would be nice to have something that doesn't need constant reloading, so no need to carry extras on you.

What do you consider constant reloading?

In a session vape i usually do a bowl at a time. i do 5 bowls, i load 5 times.


You can always get a PAX as it has a big bowl so maybe you can manage with just one full oven.

Buy a BHO pen, the cera is good, there are many other cheaper ones as well. Im not too convinced about portable flowers, it just takes too long to vape flowers, and if your trying to be stealth having your vape up to your mouth for mins at a time isnt great. these issues are solved with concentrates afaik.

I would look into getting some sort of concentrate pen style vape. Something like an omicron, dr dabber or dabbler. Should be nice and quick, and easy to hide, I have one on order.

Yea, I'm really digging the pen sized vapes for their stealthiness. The pinnacle pro looks nice, but from what I can tell it looks quite a bit larger than the pen sized ones. Looks like there are some pen sized ones that can do flower and wax, what about those, are they a good idea?

I'm sure someone here has more experience than I do, but from what I heard they aren't very reliable. Flowers also take longer to heat up and get high from, so they are less stealthy than a concentrate.

pax would be your best choice you can do herbs ,wax, and oils

avoid pens at all cost if you need to vape herbs too (they do make good one hit pipes) bowl way too small and cleaning unless you can burn it off sooner later they will get messed up
pain to vape herbs voltage is just too low.

Was at the head shop yesterday looking at there selection, they had several of the mini style pen vapes, some for as much as $170, the micro g, and some as cheap as $40. They all look almost exactly the same, is there any difference? or any reason to get the more expensive kind? Are any of the mini style ones any good?

Most people here don't like the g pen. I would look at ones like the omicron mini, dabbler and dr dabber, they are around $100. They use higher quality materials that will last longer and have no chance of off gassing plastic

Thought the Pax was just for herb.

you can use steel wool pad for oils and wax or sandwich them between your herbs
you can even use 2 pax screens and layer oil,hash or wax in there ,if not full melt hash you can just fill the oven with it but may need some herb at bottom to absorb the oils from the hash,

if looking at pens try one out first before you spend 100 dollars on one you can find cheap one on ebay for like 10 dollars

I've been using an MFLB for the last three years out in crowds in broad daylight and have never gotten bothered about it, it's so tiny it fits entirely inside your fist and without the stem. I't lasts a good while too, I get around 15 full lungfulls out of each trench and I have a larger then average lung capacity. They're built like tanks too, mine has not once failed to perform perfectly. Sharing is easy, it just requires a short explanation of the concept of the vape, there's even a quick start guide included to help you learn quickly and easily, so you might want to give it a second look it won't disappoint =3
