Why does my bud smell like KFC's mashed potatoes and gravy?

It certainly doesn't look, nor taste like great bud, but the effects are that of a fine indica.

Have you ever had bud like that? Indicas are my bruh.

Pace.

Curry-done-right tastes so high, and to answer your questions - I had eaten, but I certainly was not craving KFC...no way, bruh. As of lately, I've been eating lots of omelets (one egg and two egg whites, hot sauce, avocado [or tomatoes], extra virgin olive oil, tiny sprinkle of cheddar cheese ), garlic powder, ground pepper, etc.,) and it tastes insanely high. I also enjoy slow-cooked dry beans (canned beans? smh) with hot sauce and stuff. mmmmmmm

Funny story. We were installing some exhaust parts on a buddys car. Once we were done he started the car to test it. A few minutes later we smell fried chicken.

WTF?

We had KFC for lunch and thought someone left food in the engine bay. Long story short it was the grease from the KFC that was causing the smell but not how you'd imagine.

After we ate, the grease got on the exhaust parts and when they got heated up it vaped off the chicken grease.

Lol.

Read the title and was a lol moment. Although reminded me of the time I left a small bag of herb in my pocket that then went through the washing machine. It smelt like washing up liquid after it had dried and tasted how it smelt was not good suffice to say that I gave that bag away to my friend who smoked it.

That was back in my combustion days imagibe the flavour would have been worse vaped.

Some of the weed names really do seem... odd.

I won't even TRY something with "shit" or "vomit" in its name. I assume that it is included due to how it smells/tastes.

It was tough enough becoming a Diesel fan. Now, I adore it, for the pain relief.

I have had GSC, and when it is good (temp, method, who grew it) the exhale tastes remarkedly like a GS Thin Mint. Too bad I can't actually use GSC ... it's a f-ing sativa/hybrid.

Shoot, I had gotten a batch of something called MK Ultra, and I thought maybe they'd flushed the stuff in Lemon Pine-sol! did some digging on leafly, looking up the parent strains, and discovered that it was supposed to smell similar to that.

I don't think GSC really pulls an overwhelming flavor of any particular type of cookie. Although a minty flavor can be found, among many others. Good GSC has many complex flavors, imo. Some may not leap out at you, but if you like "disecting" your flavors, let the vape roll around and catch the flavors upon inhale for a few, then again note flavor exhaled, and then I like how even other flavors may stick to my lips. I am probably not describing this as eloquent as some, but I tried. I really enjoy "tasting" all the flavors in my flowers, some of my friends could care less, and just want the buzz. I like the overall experience. Terpenes are great.

Here is a little write up I found on GSC, and I thought it was pretty spot on, albeit a tad dramatic.

"The appearance of Girl Scout Cookies is somewhat unremarkable. That is not to say it lacks beauty, but the combination of colors is nothing new to the cannabis world. Shades of light green give way to dark veins of purple, covered by an amber sheen of resin heads. However, one thing that stands out immediately about G.S.C. is it’s incredible density: small tight bud structure, akin to its progenitor OG Kush. Overall, Girl Scout Cookies appearance makes for what can be a disappointing optical illusion when comparing grams and eighths."

"In general, I have found strains with similar bud density to have a less pronounced smell. With G.S.C. this is not the case. Although not reaching down your nose like Cherry AK, G.S.C. has its own distinct fragrance: deep chocolate notes, with more pungent overtones of fresh soil and mint. These hints of smell intensify as you break down cannabis, making it difficult to fully appreciate until it has been ground up."

"As expected, the scent of G.S.C. is enhanced after it is broken down, expressing even stronger character from it’s OG Kush side. Dried and cured to the standards I expect, the roll goes without incident and I am ready to medicate in minutes. Like the smell, the G.S.C. taste starts out with a strong OG Kush influence, leaving you licking your lips and trying to place just what it tastes like. As you get further into the joint however, the flavor gets sweeter and richer: elements of cocoa and undertones of Granddaddy Purple battle for your attention. While there is a veritable bouquet in your mouth, the actual effect of GSC is most noteworthy"

cut and pasted from berkleypatientscare, forgive the combustion reference in the quote

TL;DR--some tool just spouting off about GSC, nothing to see here lol

Did OP say GSC or KFC?

Always found GSC to taste more like the box the cookies came in, rather than the awesomeness you describe! That settles it. I need a new source!

@DDave I was just responding to the post above me talking about GSC. Since this isn't the most critical of threads here, I figured it would be ok to hijack for a moment since others brought it up.:)

response to OP, find a better source lol

might be the guy stuck it in a kfc mash potato container or next to the container for concealment? not impossible, sounds like things dealers would do to make it seem less suspicious.
