RezBlock /Cranberry Extract

Assuming its safe, would you vape through anything other than water if it offered some benefit?

You Must Unlearn, What You Have Learned...
Those damn UTI's! Lol, somebody is going to have a chart or graph explaining how UTI's are a rapidly occurring problem and people are self medicating instead of going to a physician.

Sorry for quoting an old post, but this is just awesome! How long does it take to warm the glass/water from room temperature?

Thanks for the interest man. I too think it's awesome ;)

It depends on a lot of variables but it's around a half hour. I don't use it much for heating bubs tough. Now I tossed the insulation and the plate, I have the big oil slick surface under it and I like to let stuff like small towels to dry on it. Recently I cleaned the whole thing with iso. So can I even use it to unfroze stuff by placing them in a (covered with a glass plate) glass bowl right under it with something to act as a stand. I bought a 150W lamp from Zoo Med and it's a beast compared to the Phillips, the heat literally penetrates stuff. Once I let a frozen steak too long it was cooked all the way through.

Ok I haven't posted in here in a while. I can't say that I am missing the Rez Block since I've ran out months ago. However, I am upset that the Rez Block caused a noticeable pink stain on the GonG on my Evolver HydraTree.

So I'm not completely sure, in my opinion, if it was worth the money. I haven't really noticed a difference going back to water. In fact, I might have to say, I enjoy it more with water. Rez Block always had a slight taste to me.

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right
You know the guys in their shipping department are like 'wtf?'!

I too wonder what some places must think when one of us finds a "deal" and posts it and a flood of orders for a particular item comes in.
As its the manufacturer's store one would think they'd have a supply or at least first access to the next production run.
Glad I could contribute. Thanks.

I can slightly taste it when I use too much. Trying to get that water pink like Roger D, :p.

I've since went down to 1 drop per ounce of water. Just enough to keep the resin off.

I haven't really noticed a difference going back to water.

Are you just cleaning more often? I can't get resin off when using plain water unless I use a solvent.

I've always used a solvent (ISO + Salt). Also, I used like one or two drops. But I still tasted it. :-(

Interesting that it's the same exact HT.
My evolver hydratree also has a tiny, stubborn pink stain. It might be some kind of growth.

I've tried multiple concentrated PBW washes, 99% iso, heated-up 99% iso...but nothing has gotten it off.
Been there for a few months now and guess I stopped caring about it.

I also haven't used rezblock in months. Mostly laziness.

The Proanthocyanidins (PACs) in the cranberry create a "bio-slipperieness" where the bad guys (infection) can't stick to anything. Since they can't hold on they naturally flush away . . . :)
Summary:
Chemicals present in cranberries -- and not the acidity of cranberry juice, as previously thought -- prevent infection-causing bacteria from attaching to the cells that line the urinary tract.

When you have a "stain" like this, I would use bleach or oxidize it away. The same thing happened on my graduated cylinder where the stopper goes into the ground glass joint.

Can you elaborate? How would I go about this procedure? Thanks :-). I'm a dunce when it comes to this stuff.

Cleaning and stain removal is an art, it takes practice. It depends on where the stain is located because if you can get to it and actually touch it, you can do more. Otherwise, with no mechanical advantage (rubbing) you simply must use chemicals to disassociate the "color" of the material in there so you don't see it. Optimally we would like it to be removed, and some may be, but I will settle for invisible if I have to. So repeated hot flushes, under pressure if you can, followed by chemical rinses that are relevant to the soil being removed. It is possible a mechanical agent like salt/sand might help but I think you have tried that.

Got my order already. What was that? Last Thursday night ordered, here today. Very amazing.

Now to look back on the thread to see how to use it! :brow:

edit: looks like a drop or two is all that's needed unless you want the cranberry taste. I often change out my water several times in a day and clean every other day or so anyway so maybe I can extend my regimen a bit.

Got my BC order yesterday. Anybody else get some fish oil pills too?

Went ahead and used up the last of my old bottle of NACE, made a 16 OZ bottle of premixed RB to store in the fridge. Saved me a bit of time already.

I've also found that if I just dump old rezblock out and put fresh RB back in it, it can save me from cleaning my piece every session.

Ok seriously, I'd like to renew my concern with putting BC out of buisiness... I received a big box with nicely hand wrapped jars and ad papers, shipping alone must have been close to $15!

But I couldn't help but notice the "these products contain a chemical known to the state of cali to cause cancer and other birth defects" sticker that was on the order receipt. What do you guys think, tiny bits of lead in the glass or something?
