:tup:Bonjour tout le monde,

Late 30's based up in the north east of England. A long-suffering member of the toon army although currently going through a rare positive spell of good form with no soap opera backdrop.

Been posting lots of silly stuff on here for a while now having rediscovered the joy of cannabis via vaporiser use about 18mths ago. i had previously packed in smoking tabs / weed for a good few years before that but now appreciate cannabis like a fine wine.

Own an arizer extreme Q which is great & also have a vapir no2 for those regular trips to the movies.

On the weed front, share the same frustrations in terms of getting bit older, losing the active network of contacts & paying over the odds via often riskier 3rd parties for mediocre green. Since managed to start sourcing nice stuff via the deep web & paying with bitcoins. It's risky as sites can just disappear as sheep market did recently but been mainly positive for me thus far.

Anyway, nice to be part of this UK thread.

Hey, I've recently started vaping. I brought a mcig but it broke within a couple of days I guess you get what you pay for... I'm going to invest in a more expensive vape. The solo or pax looks cool. I live in Somerset and been smoking weed since I was 13 I'm now 23.

A belated Merry Christmas to all UK Vapers! I hope your Xmas day passed pleasantly and without incident.

Currently smoking (yep haven't kicked that habit yet but it's a planned New Years Resolution) on some Amnesia which was a very lucky find indeed. What festive goodies are you enjoying at the moment?

In this festive season let us spare a thought for those who mis-judged the timing of the dreaded Xmas dry spell that seems to blight us every year - I came close to misjudging it myself but got lucky. :smug:

Did anyone see Dr.Who on Xmas day? I thought it was mediocre at best, but the new Dr looks like he'll be a good one.

Enjoy what's left of the Xmas break and have a happy new year

Ok well am based northwest,Greater Manchester.I did a longer intro on the say hello page so please check there typing this on my phone browser which is great for reading just rubbish for typing.
2.Well local prices weights depending on stuff is 1.0-1.4grams.
3.Omg is it getting more expensive it sure is.When Ifirst started smoking I was mainly getting resin at 40pound for an oz now this was a horrid solid block with bits of plastic in it and all sorts of nasty things tjat one would find whilst burning it in.Herb oz used to be 120-140 where as now its like 200-280 that one is quoted.Average price of 220.

I was reading this article a few moments ago,and remembered hearing about the place when I was at college back in 2000-02.

Damn cant copy and paste a weblink on phone silly thing.Ok check manchester evening news website for cannabis cafe in northern quarter to see article.

Hi Ho med user and been using on and off sine 16, have hit the 40's and Live in London. Weapon of choice at the moment is the solo, its been through a battery change with vapefiend, it is a great round the house portable vape.

Still will never forgive Gordon Brown and Jacqui Smith for making Canna a category B drug. :goon:

Rooting for the yanks to do the right thing and decriminalize federally.

Greetings Brits..

Lurked for a while and created an account yesterday (this is my first post, could be a while before I make any more - so much to read on here).

Living in the East Anglian flatlands, in my mid(ish)-40's.

Never really been into 'erb but some landed in my lap a while ago and, since I can't smoke (used to, a lot (regular cigs), makes me heavily nauseous now), I decided that vaping could be the answer.

I'm not really wanting to get into weed, what really interests me is ethnobotanicals.
Got a few mental and physical health issues and am wanting to get chilled/focussed rather than monged (if that makes sense).

Anyway, when I noticed a UK specific thread I thought it'd be rude not to say hi... so.. hi

hello all, i;m from the west coast of scotland, just got my first vape last week - the well known extreme q which i chose cos it seemed like a safe bet, now i want to try them all!! will probably get a portable next but also rediscovering my bong habit as i prefer using a bong with the q out of all methods. got my q from vapefiend, very happy with delivery etc so would recommend him to anyone looking for a seller.

prices for the green gold round these parts is tenner a gram and upwards, seldom see any solid these days unless its pressed keif from the bottom of a grinder. which works well in the q if you turn the heat up and let it sit for 5 mins :)

nearly bought a MFLB this weekend but opted for a new bong instead, decided to get to know the q better over the next few weeks. i've ordered one of these 18mm female to 18mm female glass adapters cos i read on the q thread that bringing the herb closer to the heater makes a nice improvement:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181209889704?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

also been making my own glycerine extract for using with the e-cig devices, onto my forth batch now and its getting better. its tricky getting the right consistency that doesn't clog everything up but when it works its a beast!!

happy vaping and may the ganja gods be with you ;)

Personally I wouldn't want to do that, I'm a lot less anonymous on facebook than I am on here. Also I believe that employers tend to check the facebook profiles of potential employees these days to vet them.

Edit: @Beefman I have a friend who owns the Solo and he's very pleased with it, although I've never used the Pax I hear that it can be a bit tedious to clean and that the solo has better flavour. Although you'll probably miss this as you don't seem to be a regular visitor, Massdrop are currently selling the arizer solo at $119 + $25 shipping to the UK but it's only available for the next two days.

With you on Facebook too many bosses like to sneak a peek at profiles. I know you can make things more private so to speak and not have a public profile but when your boss sends you a friend request your kinda obliged to accept it. I have high privacy settings on it so peeps can't post on my wall etc and that I have to approve photos which is a very much a blessing especially when your friends think its a good idea to upload some pictures of me smoking MJ that id rather my employer not see or know about. If they drug tested staff then I would be in trouble as am sure lots of the population would be as well.

On a different note can anybody recommend a good uk head shop thats online? I work during week and am a lazy guy at weekends so don't generally make my trips to Doctor Hermans.I am thinking of investing in a bong for my solo as ive never tried vape bonging however I never actually used to enjoy a bong when I used to smoke as opposed to vaping.I used to find bongs really harsh on my throat and chest so never really bothered with it.

If I may make a suggestion as far as glass goes, I absolutely love my PWT (Pinnacle Water Tool), more so for my solo than my Mini Hydrator and my Ehle 500ML (mostly because of the angled diffy, leaving the solo on it tips over, already fell of my desk and lived!) the PWT is great, I ordered mine from Vapefiend.co.uk for 49 quid I believe. Quick shipping and got sent out next morning, I ordered around midnight. Loving the form factor as well, and easy to transport (not sure if this is a concern for you). Just my 2 cents *grabs the Solo & PWT and inhales*

Yeah I had been looking at the PWT on vapefiend but was out of stock, as looked a cheaper alternative to the F Bomb which if I decide I like Vape Bonging, I am tempted to buy Vapefiends combo of F Bomb and the GonG which saves around £10 but that would be a treat for next month's payday. The vape collecting is getting to be an addiction in itself. Since quitting the cigs I have a grand total of 5 vapes (4 that work).

Puffit X (melted from the inside), Plenty (love this beast so easy to use), Solo (which is the portable vape I wish I had first bought), Palm 2.0 which I seem to be a combustion master of but the palm has the task of stealth hits whilst am dog walking and finally the vaponic which was a freebie with the Plenty and although nice its too much of a hassle for me to use. I would say that I need easy to use vapes with little or no learning curve, ideally with temperature control.A Volcano could also be a purchase as a friend of a friend has one he might be getting rid of but he hasn't given any indication of whether he will sell it but is offering to lend it to my buddy so tempted to offer him some cash if it works nicely and depending on how many balloons he has etc but ive been hassling my friend to borrow it before I even took up vaping. I really hope he wants rid and will take a small cash offer as second hand ones on eBay are rather pricey.
