Discontinued The Sublimator

I use my tube dry. One time I filled up the tube with warm water and shook. Almost all of the sublimate came loose was easily collected. I dabbed it in the Sublimator and it taste just like citrusy sublimate goodness. Didn't dab any BHo into the tube so the quality was amazing.

Yeah that is disappointing considering I just for mine a month ago. I don't know if I want to upgrade for $290 and not get the new base, the new atomizer or the new screens.

Brayden

the dank one
I have never heard of a vaporizer dropping by 230$ within 6-7 months of its release that originally costed 800$. I will leave it at that.

Pre-sale edition kit-790$

Now priced at 560$

Yes it's a shitty situation. Pretty glad I didn't make a wholesale purchase of 20 units cause the product is being devalued so much.

Just saw Sublimator.ca now offers a 449 dollar upgrade option for the XLR with zero downtime. Another great deal.

http://www.sublimator.ca/product.php?id_product=52

I wonder if "any sublimator heating device" includes campfire/ufo devices

:hmm:
I told you guys that resale value would plummet on these. My scissors handle is completely broken now from whacking on my buzzing piece of crap apollo heater controller box. So I have resorted to a small ball-pin hammer to whack it now. The good news is the parts are finally all on their way now to make my own controller box. Fuck And now we're asked to put out even more money for this upgrade crap! (edit). If I can't get my box to work right it will be the buzz or the ufo.

I've even got a plan to make my own reclaim upgrade for the launchtube downstem!

Just think if Sublimator had stood by all its early adopters,
how different the tone of this thread would be.

We assure you its worth it! LOL

Sublimator is like the Electronic Arts of the vape industry. That is not a compliment.

I have no doubt that our comments are having an influence on people purchasing or not purchasing a Sublimator product. This is the premier place to discuss and learn about the Sublimator. I feel very sorry for those who don't know about this thread and own a Sublimator or in the market for one.

I understand, got mine 2 days before x-mas.
At the least they could have done was tell us that something new was only weeks away from being released & then we could have made the choice to wait or not.
Seems like new pricing on the 1.0 should be extended, as in some stores (for 30 days previous price protection) ??
Would be nice but don't think they would send us a rebate, but if it was a credit ???

I've no trouble with innovation...and I especially don't expect free upgrades...but when your version 1 has issues, it would be a nice gesture to try and take care of your customers in some way, rather than reaching out for even more dough for version 2.

As to claiming they can't afford to help in the way they would like to...well then, you are in the wrong business. There seems to be enough money for new innovations...so why not put a little aside for helping those who helped spread the word by investing early? Cover return shipping...make the ver 2 upgrade a little more affordable...stuff like that...

Just my :2c:

Lol too many edibles and sub rips. Must have submitted that some how.

PV might have a better upgrade plan once they sell their 1.0 stock?

I hope so. I really want the stainless steel base version with the titanium atomizer, screens and the part that screws off where the sublimate collects.

Hi FC,

Im sorry for the negative feelings amongst alot of you, I've spoken with Enrico about your concerns and have come up with the following:

For you early adopters of fc, we will offer the upgrade at $290 with no downtime instead of $449. Go through the regular process as described on our website and once we receive your old unit we will reimburse you for that additional fee
fee. We do need to receive your old unit. We will offer this until May 31.

We are also just finishing improvements to the v1 model including changing the timerbox over to the new digital version. We will be offering this very soon at a special more affordable cost then what has been announced for the XLR2.0 so this will be available for those wishing to stuck to more of the current model.

The moon tool is also in its final stages, Enrico has confirmed this will be sent to all of you as previously promised with confirmation of purchase of your Sublimator.

We also are not responsible for the price drop that retailers may make regarding v1. They are just doing what any business would do In order to keep up with demand and offer the newest products available.

Ultimately, we are doing our best to address all concerns. In regards to complaints about the sublimator, we've tried to address them with improvements on the XLR2.0; and for anyone who had or has issues with their v1 we have always accepted the broken devices and replaced them with new devices and will continue to do so.

We also try to update our social media (Facebook, Twitter, instagram and YouTube) regularly. For the past month we had been saying we had new products coming. I apologize we didn't personally post here as well but the information was available.

We will keep you posted on the status of the moon tools and the v1 upgrade.

Thanks,

They are making atomizers out of ti?

I thought so but idk. I know they are making ti screens. But I don't see the dabmaster on the sublimator.ca site for upgrade yet and that's what I want as well as the new base because I really want the reclaim catcher

When will the stainless steel bases and choke tiers be available on your site? And also when and will we be able to upgrade to the dabmaster?

Well @Tweek said it much more tactfully than I did :chill:

I do really appreciate the basic idea of the sublimator,
and greatly enjoy what I have (besides the timer aspect, buzzing or not).
But yes, the controller box was certainly a work in progress :\

Congrats of coming out with what looks to be a finished product. Hopefully the upgrade discounts will be easily available to those that didn't buy directly from sublimator, or from their preferred retailer pv. And hopefully there will be no expiration date on the deal, for those that don't have the funds handy at the drop of a hat, or would like to evaluate user feedback on the new models before investing further. For myself, I am still looking forward to getting the most out of my current investment as possible, so I will take a wait and see attitude. But the 2.0 does look very nice so far, if perhaps even more like a rich man's toy.

The stainless steel base and dabmaster will be available very soon, I will ensure to announce it here as soon as it I know.

As for upgrading through other retailers, all upgrades will be done directly through Sublimator using our website. Again, we will offer this until May 31 2014. www.sublimator.ca

What about us people who have already gone through a warranty replacement? Is the $290 no downtime deal apply to us as well? I'm not exactly clear on what this upgrade offers? ... $290 and I get a 2.0 and keep my old unit?

No the current upgrade program is for $290 and u send your current Apollo back in exchange for the new XLR 2.0 heating unit and control box. Or you can pay $449, they will send you the new unit prior to you sending yours back and once you've received your new unit, you send the old one back and are refunded the $159 difference so it still only costs $290. However, I am going to wait until planetvape.ca offers their upgrade program, as I feel that they always satisfy their customers and won't release the medical line on their page until it is fully ready to be shipped and upgraded to.
