I'm hooked on buying the volcano?

Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy my first vape and have my mind set on the volcano. I'd like to know whether you agree we this decision or not. Money is not a factor at all. I want a stationary vape and don't mind whether it's whip or balloon. Top quality vapor is a must. Also, I'd like the vape to be durable.

Edit: I should mention that I will be smoking from this vape at least once a day and will always be used between at least 2 people. Quite often I will have parties of 4 or more smoking as well.

My first vape was my volcano.i really like it,but now that I own a variety of vaporizers I only use it for large get together's and party's,I run two bags and it gets every body medicated.
It's not efficient(or that enjoyable to smoke alone).Sometimes I get a urge to smoke it alone, but very rarely(buy having the vapor cool in the bag is nice on the lungs)

I would look into the SSV or DBV if your looking for a good whip,(vapor brother was good too)

There are some vapes that do both whips and bags,I have no experience with them.

I'd say if you are hooked, then go for it. Once you have your mind set on something, it's difficult to stop the itch. Enjoy.
Agree, but I would add: check the classifieds. I wouldn't recommend paying full retail for an item that doesn't have the best reviews on here. I've heard that even the older, analog units work as well as the newer digital, and are cheaper.

Save the "new vape" money for something later on.

I agree with E ...but, you may also want to consider the Herbalizer at the higher price point if you want the best of the best. JMO:2c:;):peace:

The Volcano is like 10 years old, the Herbie is new and definitely favored by the community. Plus they're available at a similar price point. The OP said they wouldn't mind a bag or whip... Why limit themselves with a Volcano?

I'm only saying this because money is no factor

May I ask you, and everyone else who recommended the herbalizer, what makes the herbalizer the best of the best.

I've been the owner of a classic for almost 6 years. I never regretted anything about this machine.
An extremely good value, it has proved it will stand strong for a very long time. I was getting tired of it but I regained interest, the effortless pull, the ability to walk around your house doing stuff with your balloon. It's priceless.

I'm about to pump one :)

Excellent question! Your question will best be answered by reviewing the Herbalizer thread, at least the last half of it where aficionado's express their honest & insightful impressions. So far, I think there's 100% exuberant satisfaction, nominal issues. I'm saving up for one!

I have read the thread but would like some input from people who have (or have used) both. One thing I wasn't able to find an answer for in the thread: How often do you have to clean the herbalizer and is it a pain to clean? It seems that the herbalizer does give better draws and has whip and bag (+1) but is it worth the extra $200

Careful with the term "best of the best".

The herbalizer looks and sounds fantastic. I'd definitely say it is overall the most sophisticated vape on the market and probably is the best bag and whip vape.

But for people that only use glass, the Sublimator and VapeXhale Cloud EVO are both on par in terms of vapour production and quality.

Anyways, if you like the Volcano a lot, definitely be looking at the Herbalizer. I really want to add one to my vape collection once I have the cash. It does bags, like the Volcano, but also allows for you to use concentrates and whips, two things the Volcano does not. That is in addition to ALL OF THE OTHER goodies the herbalizer does.

I haven't had my herbie for more than a month, but so far it's been a breeze to maintain. It's more compact, and it's easier to get to areas you may want to brush out vs the Volcano, although I never found my easy valve volcano to be an issue.

There are more options and updated technology on the the herbie that make it worth it to me. Whether it's worth it to you is a different matter...you have to ask yourself if you would use most of the new features...and if you care enough about the new technology to pay the $200 bucks more.

I'm looking for a vape that meets the following criteria, maybe you guys can help me decide.

1) top quality vapor
2) durability ( I'm expecting this vape to last for years)
3) easy to use/maintain
4) conserves nug (I go through a quarter oz a week smoking 1-2 daily)
5) desktop (purely meant for at-home use)
6) MUST be able to use the vaped nug (avb) to cook (I think all vapes meet this)
7) MUST be able to use comfortably in groups of 5 (otherwise my friends would rather roll up)

Being able to vape BHO would be a + but not necessary. Also, if I get the herbalizer, I plan on only using the vapor therapy, not aroma therapy.

e-nano seems ideal for your 5 criteria

You should mind. What kind of vapor delivery you get is mostly what it's all about, since there are many excellent brands and models these days.

what makes the herbalizer the best of the best.
It's not the best. There is no best vaporizer any more than there's a best car or best computer. It all depends on the functionality you want.

4) conserves nug
Vaping is more efficient than smoking but you can still use a lot of herb with a big hitting vape, so conservation is up to you, not just the hardware.

Just to clarify, I didn't say it was the best of the best, I was asking snappo why he said that.

As for bag or whip, I'd say whichever is more efficient. I am comfortable using either one.

I'm sure you're not alone in making this type of decision, what was the clincher for you to pick the volcano over the herbalizer that seems to be getting such high marks on FC?

It's the Volcano's awesome reputation that gave me the idea to get the Plenty because the design is similar. I was not disappointed. Enjoy the 'cano!
