Hey guys,im looking for a portable flower vape that is easier for new people to use than the MFLB,I've got my persei for concentrates.
My friends take fast hard hoots when we're using batteries and can't get a hoot on my MFLB(I've explained slow long hoots!).
When I'm in my car,I use my PA and I couldn't be happier with my MFLB,and I don't need to explain to my friends to suck slow,I just crank it up for their hoot then turn it down on my hoot.(their fast sucking regulates the heat)

So now I'm looking for something that is battery powered, but a complete noob can get a hoot without sucking too slow..you know what I'm saying?
My friends would rather smoke a bong or joint,so this needs to be ridiculously easy to use and convenient.
Another requirement is it needs to have a decent bowl/chamber because it will be used for 2-3people,It will mostly only be used at the dog park, friends houses, ect

I don't really think the solo's bowl size would work for me and the pax's battery life I'm not sure about.
But im willing to hear everyone's opinion, also conduction/convection doesn't matter too me as long as it fits the bill

Hi SpruceGruve, first off, not sure why but I was rolling at your choice of wording "a complete noob can get a hoot"! With this requirement, I'd be doing you a disservice by not recommending the Solo. If you're worried about bowl size, I'd go for ordering more stems and stem caps... then you could carry a 6-pack of stems, preloaded, and vape out your group! The battery of the Solo should be able to handle most of those stems with a single charge.... and if you have an M1C1 or later, you can always use it plugged into the wall or car (with the right adapter).

Now if you want to orchestrate the hits, in other words press the button, for your inexperienced acquaintances, and seek a huge bowl, you could look into the FlashVape.

Hope that helps!
Vape On!

I never really thought about bringing multiple stems, that's a good idea,I'm just not sure I want to carry around 3-4 stems.I'll think about this though.

What I mean by noob is they never vape, unless they're hanging out with me.I usually seem to be supplying the green:\,so it's my choice how We consume it:lol:.
They have no interest in vaporizing in their spare time,so if I'm bringing a vape over I want it to be enjoyable for them

I haven't looked into the flashvape I'll go give that thread a quick browse and see what I think of it.

Thanks for the help/input sofar

If you are looking for something you can pass around without having to give a lesson every time, the solo or the cloud/evo are really the best choices. I would probably recommend the solo though because I cringe at the thought of passing around a $500 unit with fragile glass in it (my combuster friends are pretty clumsy). As far as the small bowl on the solo, it isn't a problem with my group of friends, typically we each need about one full solo load so each of us just pack it once, no different then when we would pas bowls around. Also the solo comes with 2 stems so you could pack both then just swap them mid session when the first one runs out. This way one stem is always vaping, the other is being packed/waiting for the first stem to be done.

I second the Solo for the sturdiness factor. There's pictures of one that was run over by a car, in the snow, that still worked once it was found!

I would say the long T-Vape due to its large bowl size but then you have to teach people to press the power button before taking a hit. The DaVinci has worked well for me in groups , The Pax does seem like it would be a great choice for around the dog park and such.

I'm not really fealing the flashvape,it's like a more powerful MFLB.And it seems like I'll need to explain how to use it over and over.

Cloud Evo would be nice and I wouldn't mind explaining how to use it,but my friends are way too clumsy for that price.

Two people mentioned the pax,how is the battery life on it?,i know there is three power settings,Let's say every session you started on the lowest, then mid, then finished off on the highest setting.
How many sessions do you think you could pull out of it?also I know this unit is a lot of maintenance that's kind of a let down

Three or four have suggested the solo now,my only concerns are carrying multiple stems and I see everyone upgrading their battery,is that necessary to have many sessions?

I don't know much about the t-vape,I'll check out its thread, just looking at its picture I'm worried it's not another atmos/GPen

Dude. The Solo will give you 8 to 12 full timer sessions (12 minutes each) on a single charge. Plus u can always plug it in and use it off the car or wall outlet.

Plus one full stock stem is enough for 2 to 3 people IMO (given quality herb of course). Need more? Just repack the stem and repeat.

Oh wow 8-12 sessions that's way more than we would need.
How many sessions would the upgraded battery get, just curious

It's,between the solo and the pax....leaning towards the solo.
But I'm headed to the tvape thread to read......

I'm not a fan of the Tvape, it tasted horrible to me, at one point though you could get one for $50 on eBay so it was a very good vaporizer for the price but I could never recommend it at full retail price. The solo has the best battery life of any portable. The battery is a consumable so at some point it will have to be replaced but there are some that have had them 2+ years of daily use that haven't had to replace the battery yet. The stock battery is more than suitable, but if my battery dies I will be replacing it with one of centizen's high capacity batteris to get even more sessions between charges.

I would go with a solo over a Tvape probably now. I only threw it on the table for the load size for groups. I agree it's overpriced. I did give a few away to smokers when they were cheap and they still use them a lot. I think because they still want to stuff a gram or more into a bowl for a session. With only four sessions of battery life you could still vape up Five grams, I don't but ya can.

The taste of the Tvape is about the worst short of combustion. Still doesn't taste bad to me.

Looking at the tvape thread,i don't think it's for me.

Looking at the solo thread what's the difference between the old units with ceramic bowls and the new ones?just taste?different air holes?
I know a guy with a unopened original,or I could buy a newer one from online.

I still don't know the battery life of the pax,how many sessions per charge?

So let's say I hand a blind deaf person a solo and a pax, which would they find easiest to use without any explanations?

.5 packed tight into my Pax serves groups of 3 and 4 regular smokers with no issues. Hits like cigar with nearly no time needed between hits if its set on max. Once its back to me ill do a check and stir or reload. Most smokers catch on and fall in love. Its actually my favorite thing about the Pax. I always thought the Vapor Blunt name fit it better then the products by that name. Its roughly twice as efficient in my circle as the ole roll n burn party.

Thanks for everything guys.
I'm going to go with the solo, carrying two stems doesn't bother me as much as some of the other issues I would encounter with other products.

It was a close second to the pax,but I think it's just the sleek design I was attracted too

I'll continue my questions in the appropriate thread.

@SpruceGruve

You wont regret getting the Solo. Just make sure you learn how to pack the stems and the proper draw speed/technique and itll never fail you. Draw too hard and youll have a bad time and call everyone a liar because you can produce vapor. In short read the last 100 pages or so on the Solo thread.

Also I feel the latest model Solo is probably the best yet on many levels, so dont worry about it. I suggest buying from Puffitup.com if ur in the US or PlanetVape if you're in Canada, eh.

Also just get a few of these to chuck your preloaded stems into! Smell/air/water proof, and you cant break them:

Edit: dont worry about changing out the battery.

The obvious choice is a good one - Solo.

Have fun. Buuut, I do question your motivations. You may never really impress your friends with your vape gadgets. As you stated "My friends would rather smoke a bong or joints." Yeah, I'm sure they'll enjoy your green in your Solo. And then they'll probably continue preferring smoking.

And you'll continue vaping. Go Solo.

I don't care about impressing them, they literally couldn't get hoots off my MFLB with battery's.
I don't plan on converting them, just having them enjoying the session
You will impress yourself though if you pair the Solo with a nice bubbler. Huge smooth cool lung busting hits! I converted one of my friends with just two hits of the Solo through my Dave Goldstien Fritted Disc bubbler. He couldn't believe the potency, and he doesn't combust anymore. Now he's a vape afficionado like me:D. Love my Solo!

I agree with Snappo. Solo+ nice bubbler will impress anyone, but careful not to overwhelm the heater. Keep it to two people.
