Almost got a full iMac my senior year. Johnny cash said to take it piece by piece, but that big ass monitor wouldn't fit in my backpack!

Every class I was medicated for (just a couple of em) I remember very well. I remember not being able to digest the complicated science being presented and being very aware that the Prof could easily tell I was not my usual self. I never did it afterwards, prefer to be cold for that type of info.

My biggest regret from college was jumping into monogamous relationships too easily. It was way more fun with the casual dating scene and the advanced adult style relationships didn't fit the lifestyle and just lead to arguments and drama for reasons that could have been avoided.

My speech teacher new i was blitzed this morning, but that's okay, if i show up like that everyday, and do well, whats tha big deal? At least then i can focus without looking at every minor detail of my surroundings. Man i get lost in my head easily

The big deal, in my experience is, if a student who shows up blitzed regularly and starts to struggle in class, the professor is far less likely to have sympathy or help out. That is, unless you're study at a liberal college. At one of those, I got to blaze up with my instructor after class.

When i just paid 3k out of my own pocket, no help from mom or dad, or anyone for that matter, i have no choice but to take it seriously. Blitzed or not, im not gunna pay 3k to fail my classes. But i do understand your point.. I blazed with a high school teacher, but after i had graduated

You're starting your first semester, I'm starting my last semester of a 4 year degree! (Next week)

Only classes I'd regularly vape beforehand were: classical music appreciation, psychedelic rock in the 60s, a philosophy class about reality, and data networks class :spidey:

I could live comfortably off my job now, sad but true. Probably wouldnt wanna raise a family on this wage though. Electrician most likely, except im focusing on criminal psychology now.

College was a lot of fun for me but these days are different. Maybe you should get into vaping once you get started with your classes. Starting what potentially may be the most important thing of your life figuring out you should vape before class might not be the best idea.

Now after class is a different story!

If your vaping to medicate than stick with low temps, that won't make you too lethargic.

And trust me, I'm not trying to sound like the old man in the room I'm just telling you that I wish I can go back and change some of my college decisions.

Like my trip to Peru, let's just say my trip was mind boggling...

I just started college the other week and I'm 41. It's interesting and a lot of fun cause I'm studying what I love, which is also my profession.
Anyway, I've been getting blazed while I do school work. It's pretty awesome to be able to do my work whenever I want. I'm doing well on the tests so far and my class participation is through the roof.
Was staying up last night reading about the way children's brains work and develop when I started watching a video where someone gives 1 cookie to a kid and keeps 2 cookies. The kid complains it's not fair, so the person breaks the kids cookie in half. This immediately makes the toddler happy. "This is fair now" he proudly proclaims. This tickled my funnybone so hard that I couldn't stop laughing for a good 5 minutes.
Piaget constructed little games that demonstrate how young minds perceive the world and they are really cute if you like kids.

To @Diggy Smalls and @KidFated, congratulations to you both on furthering your education.

I would recommend however that you try to stay as sober as possible while in class unless you are medicating for ADHD or similar issues. CBD’s are great for treating pain while keeping one calm and focused.

You are obviously dedicated and want to get the most out of this opportunity. Being clear in the mind without psychotropic’s may assist you in understanding your instructors better which will result in better grades and your ultimate success.

I absolutely loved college and graduate school.

I am quite envious of the great times you both have ahead of you and wish you only the best!

I don't take cannabis with me to college and I never said I vaped during school. I'm there all day for two days a week and I don't fuck around. I'm there to learn.
The CBD is a great option though, especially if it helps calm the individual as it does me. I have no intention of doing it at school though.
I wake and vape and then 3 hours later I start my school day and then wait until I get home to vape again and 8 hours at school. :)
It's a blast! I don't like being paired with other people in class though, because I keep getting paired with people who aren't doing the reading or the work and want to joke around in class.

I'm friendly, but I'm not here to make friends. I'm silly but I'm not here to joke around. I'm straight working. And I'm already feeling like I'm tutoring people after just one week of classes. Lol that happens to me at jobs, it only makes sense it would happen to me in college.

I had a bunch of finals all on one day, but I conquered them. I'm waiting for grading, but so far I'm all As, and I put a lot of effort into the finalfinal pro, and I know the material in all 5 classes well enough that I assist other students. I have one more project to present and turn in, and it's my main class. My professor said she's expecting to give me a perfect score for my project, based on my work thus far.
Yo. I'm gonna try to get my poor ass some scholarships. And I got high as a dragonfly every morning, every evening, and whenever I was studying at home.

Evidence supports the idea that we remember best when we are in the same state when we learn and recall information. My personal experience was that I had no trouble remembering information I attained while sober, or vice versa.
Cannabis did offer me a few benefits that aided me well. It calmed my nerves when stress got bad, it helped me think creatively, and my mind races on cannabis, which means I don't sit long unless I'm immersed in something when I'm medicated. TV shows don't really hold my attention unless they are really short, really informative, or really funny.
When I get focused on something, it can really take over. Sometimes I'll work on 5 projects over the course of an evening, or 1 project for 3 hours straight with nothing but vaping, reading, and writing. It's like I forget to take care of myself. Haha

Anyway, I'm really excited, and I love college. I feel bad for students that are struggling, and I really enjoy helping others, but I also have to be careful not to take on too much. One professor suggested I tutor others. Might as well get payed, right? She also recommended me for a student rep to the board.

As a reward for my awesome scores, I bought myself a maple Insta Heat Cartridge. I'm very excited, cause my daily driver is a maple Toasty Top. His craftsmanship is stellar and well worth the wait for a hand made, superbly and simply designed wooden bodied vaporizer. He make awesome wooden stems, too.

I'm going to take 2 online courses next semester...Hopefully I don't crash and burn! Hahaha If I do well with next semester, I'm going to consider taking 6 classes for a semester.

I don't think I could have gotten through my undergraduate degree (majoring in Classical Studies, particularly Ancient Greek language and literature, and a minor in Latin language and literature) without the aid of cannabis. It helped me to retain focus.

I wrote most of my Master's thesis in a very seedy and sketchy pub amid pitchers of beer. I'm still not sure how I completed that degree successfully. I was once attacked by somebody with a knife, and got out of the jam by kind of paraphrasing something I had read from Cicero (or was it Seneca?), placating my would-be assailant by appealing to what I told him was his intrinsic good nature. What an asshole.

I got out of cannabis during my PhD studies, but drank a fair bit.

I'm now a university professor (in Philosophical Theology), and drink very little, and microdose low THC cannabis as an aid to energy and creativity (I'm writing a book under contract presently), and to get through those piles of examinations and essays which interminably threaten to swallow up my desk.

But it's absolutely essential for me to moderate my intake. If I indulge too much or too often, I suffer a good bit of anhedonia and symptoms of amotivational syndrome. Such issues creep up insidiously. It's difficult to free oneself from that sort of quagmire once one realizes one is mired in it.

I couldn't agree with this more! It mirrors my experience 100%! Also, respect to your academia, if you're not overly busy I would love to pick your brain via PM :D

I just started college the other week and I'm 41. . .

This is similar to my own college career. I never completed high school, and applied to university as a "mature student" at the age of 32. I had dropped out of high school after failing pretty much all of the 9th grade, and being told I should attend an "alternative" high school for problematic kids. Fuck.

Man, beginning university was some spooky shit. I was constantly assailed by vicious and relentless phantoms of doubt.

Feelings of inadequacy whispered into my ear that I should drop out. "You're in too deep, you idiot," they would say, "Do what's reasonable; return to your proper station in life . . . "

On one hand, as a mature student, I miss not having had the social element of university life – on the other hand, I'm most certain that I would have not been successful, due to a tendency to extremes. I would have drank and smoked my way right out of my degree. I suppose sometimes isolation can be a productive state.

I hope you'll update us on your progress.

. . . if you're not overly busy I would love to pick your brain via PM :D

The pleasure would be mine. I look forward to it.
