kahlilhc,

tranceporter

The Cloud Conductor
Off the top of my head..

Sub
Cloud
MiniVap
Volcano

I think the Sub might be the priciest but none of these vapes can really be had for under 400.

I think the Sub limited edition is around $750.

For that money i would go with the Herbalizer.
Just having something super hot does not make a vape great.
Temp control is all where it is at!
At least for me.
apparently the sublimator is not just very hot, but also goes "beyond vaporization"(lol) and re-atomises the vapor into thick clouds........or something like that.

I call it flash vaping. The sub is designed to vape a load in one draw at high temps - no other vape can do this as well as the sub - you may consider that my opinion but I know it is a fact!

It's not designed for temp surfing and you'd be better off with another vape - the herbqlizer seems to be king if this category due to the fact that it can actually deliver real time variable temp.

Yeah, and I 'souped up' my EVO so it produces twice as much vapor.

The nice thing about vaporizers is that you don't need to spend a lot of money. I get can get the same vapor from an old and inexpensive design like the Vapolution, (and an all glass vapor path to boot), as with the most expensive models.

There is most expensive, and then there is "what's worth the price tag". The more experience I have with various vaporizers, the more I realize that there is alot of quality to be had for very little money these days. Not to say that there are not some great vapes out there with a high price tag (love my herbie) but with some vapes, all you are vaporizing is your money.

i too am skeptic.............but it must be doing something different, because on review clips it looks like straight combustion smoke(that thick), idk but hopefully one day ill try it.

Its all about design....there is a vortex of hot air which passes through the load, and is squeezed down a smaller chamber to the atomizer itself, which is just a narrow tube. Atomizers are not magic by any means, and exist in all sorts of other non-vape related devices out there ...they just put these concepts together to create a vape that will cache a load in one hit and give a smoother vapor by creating a mist. I have one, and it's fun, but as I said, not magic by any means or any crazy kind of science. Just another approach to vaporizing.

So listen less to hyped up catch phrases, and look more into the mechanics of any device you are considering purchasing, to learn for yourself weather it suits your style of vaporization, and whether it's worth the asking price.

A lot of people like it, but for me, the EVO is all I need in a big hitting vape. And the bottom will get hot if you keep cycling it on, but it won't burn you. The Supreme Vaporizer turned me off to hot vape surfaces years ago. I don't trust myself once I get really lifted.

Sublimator & Herbalizer..... and I love them both for what they are and what they do ;)
you have both?

If I had to do it all over again, I would not buy it. But there are alot of factors to that decision that are unique to my experiences. I do really like it and many of my friends who tried it were blown away...but I measure the quality of a vaporizer not just by the vaporizing experience, but the customers service experience as well...and for me, that fell kind of flat.

Others love it to death and would buy it all over again if they could...so you see, it is a deeply personal decision. What is your experience with vaporizing? If you are new to the game, it can't hurt to try out some lower cost vapes and then splurge on something more expensive when and if you feel you want/need to.

From the pic i assume you got a Solo already so that is a pretty good vape to start with.

What are you looking for exactly? And what is it that you want that the Solo does not provide?

The price tag should not be your only guideline since the most expensive could be the best for you but it could also be the worst.

Not a few years ago, the most expensive was the Volcano and i would buy vapes at half or a third of the price without skipping a beat over getting the Volcano.

I'm going to bring up the fact that if you buy every attachment for the persei it comes to a lot of money.
This price includes one of everything, extra battery, two hammer rods, the two cheeper nibblers and the bender
$799.96+ tax and shipping

Edit-
Plus if you wanted everything The normal nibbler if you wanted it would be a extra 279.99

Almost there...
so is the herbalizer officially better than a volcano?

This is very subjective...
I tried the volcano, the old and the digital version, while being pretty innovative it was just a one trick pony in my mind. Worked really good but it just does bags...

The Herbalizer is more versatile in my mind. It can do whip, bags, direct draw or anything you can dream of.
At the end of the day you have to choiose what fits in your budget, needs and desires!

Volcano is well built, but doesn't offer much more than bags. You can play around with it and add a whip, but it's not really built for that.

The herbalizer gives you the option of whip, bags and aromatherapy. The heating technology is also better IMO

The question is, how many vapes are better than the Volcano? :D

The Volcano is starting to become officially the most overprized vape in the vaporizing industry, even after they put the retail price at 50% from what it was 2 years ago.

I think they only have profit on the Volcano because it was the first or one of the first medical vaporizers.

And their second unit is equally redundant considering price and competition.
