Fingerprint locked vaporizers?

Biometrics at that user level sucks ass. Even expensive stuff large companies use dont work half the time. Pass.

I actually use a fingerprint pistol case for my dbv and its gear. Lsv wand barely fits.. Only case for it i could find, the fingerprint scanner works greats unless i have super cold hands.

It heavily depends on the technology behind the biometerics. Have you had a chance to try Apple's new touch sensor? It's impressively accurate. But I'm still not sold on the benefit to vapes it could bring.

Uh, wouldn't getting a biometric safe and putting the vape in there be easier?

Yes, but I think vapor corp is doing this more for the innovation factor than they are the actual usefulness of it. It also gives them a good argument in the face of those who would claim vaporizer companies aren't doing enough to protect children from vapes.

Would be annoying to put it in a safe every time you have to leave it unattended.
Its also annoying to worry about your nephew finding something he shouldn't. Or breaking my glass.. Portables are a lot easier to hide in funny spots.. I hide my hammer on top of my ceiling fan. Yeah........

I still don't get locking down the vape. If I was a kid, I'd go after the stash itself, to smoke it. Or if I was more sophisticated, I'd just unscrew the tank and put it on a friend's battery.

It reminds me of locking up glasses in a home bar, only to leave the bottles of alcohol unsecured. I know it's just a concept piece, but it doesn't seem functional, even if they could magically shrink the electronics.

While i have my dbv locked up, my portables are also all out of sight and out of reach. Medicine goes where it ALWAYS belongs. Out of the reach of children. That's common sense. I thought.. I am more worried about my nephew finding my vapes than my medicine. Medicine will never be found.

Dreaming now: I'd love to see a facial recognition package that would auto-set the temperature dependent on my expression (reflective of mood) and medicate according to need, factoring in time of day and the day itself and other possible factors.... So a happy relaxed session at 12pm would set temp to 180-185C, and later sessions or for looks of greater stress, set the temp higher...

of course with a manual override for those times when a stern poker face fools the unit...

Cant vape a vape. One is useless without the other.
They can figure out what a vape is.. Or accidentally get burnt or break something. I would rather them find a vape than medicine, but i doubt my medicine would be found. Vapes are just hidden for protection.

Also @THC SCIENTIFIC that prototype looks very familiar...

@THC SCIENTIFIC does not manufactures the Persei battery body or power head. These parts are made to a custom spec and get branded for them by Vapor Corp. W9Tech's works more in innovating on the cartridge/attachment side of things, and use the Vapor Corp power handle as a platform for them. But they have recently started working on making their own power supplies with the Core.

Edit: Strikethrough'd bad info

Sorry but that is a Persei Body and Top. I can even say what company is behind that in CHina. Trust me thats a persei in that video. Remember i said we have switched to our own manufacturing? this is the reason why or one of many reasons.

Wait, so is it a branded Persei in this video? Or is Vapor Corp getting tops made that look like the Persei top? I'm so confused now, because I didn't think you made Persei tops with 510 threadings, and I don't see an adapter for the G5 they are using.

The company that we worked with in China to develop the Persei worked with Vapor Corp as well. These are factory rejects most likely that just got assembled with a 510 thread thats all.

The whole back story on this is long and messed up.

Started in 2010 when someone in florida sent their GF to buy a omicron to get the thread size and then located the only company that made them and had them literally knock off the Omicrons. We ended up leaving this company company because of trade secrete violations. How do we know florida company sent GF well lets just say our network and reach is nice and long.

But wait this said company was an offshoot of above company referenced in the video.

So now when i found a new manufacturer the former parent company the one in the video above happen to be friends with one of the owners of the new company we contracted out. We spend a ton of money with these guys to develop our products and ended up having to do it ourselved since quality and loyalties went out the window.

So when you look at their Vapor XRT design this was a knock off of skyda's design that we had approached them with in around 2010-2011. Also if you look at the similarities it is the Hercules design with one major flaw the wire.

So moving forward Vapor Xrt is designed by a engineer whos name starts with a J working in Shenzhen ecig company who took this idea from skyda who happen to have received this idea from a prototype we wanted built a few years ago.

Vapor Corp is currently working with a company we use to do business with while its offshoot is doing business with the first original company we use to do business with.

Its really scary how these guys tend to follow us around.

This is why I actually built my own over there and will start working with companies here so that we can manufacture for them and they can have a American Company to uphold contracts with.
