So I thought I would start my own thread posting pictures and having conversations about my relatively new job that has me traveling quite a bit. I enjoy my job very much and thought it may be interesting to some of you. I could be totally wrong and that's fine. Feel free to join in and share your own experiences or to ask questions. I'll do my best to answer them. If it isn't appropriate for this forum, mods, feel free to delete it. So anyway, here is my first pic to post. Enjoy!

This was taken climbing out of STL on a cloudy day. But as I like to say, it's always sunny at 36,000 ft.
Ah ha I've only hiked above the clouds once (highest mountain in San Diego county) but I still instantly recognized that scene :)

Did this a few years ago at Cuyamaca peak. Not nearly as high up though. Luckily the iolite still worked.

when i stop and look at the jet engine. it blows my mind that we can make shit like this...

we put hairless apes 30 000+ feet in the air daily. We can open one of these apes up and perform emergency heart surgery if we need to. We can call/video communicate another ape on the other size of the planet and talk to them. (feels like telepathy) Then there is computers... simply amazing... I feel like a caveman now... :p

Good morning everyone. ugg ugg! :) me like coffee :D
