Cheap High Quality Bubbler

canj00digit?

All my days in a daze...
That definitely looks open. lol.

On some of the pieces you can really see the lack of understanding in what they're designing/manufacturing.
But it does seem to be getting better and better.

I'd give this one a pass though if it were me.

I just received two D020s from DHgate. Ordered on the 22nd and delivered on the 30th. Very fast delivery IMO considering it's coming from China and going through customs. It was packaged very well. Lots of bubble wrap and nothing was broken.

I'm not a glass expert but the bubblers and accessories look great to me. No obvious flaws that I can see. Everything seems centered well enough. Perc is low. Seams are smooth. No air bubbles in the glass. Like others reported my lo-pro reducer doesn't fit. That won't be an issue for me but may be for others.

Only 26 left last time I checked. If you're getting this piece, order 2. Not only will you have a backup but the price drops from $27 to $24 apiece (including shipping).

Very pleased with this purchase. Thanks to FC for this great recommendation.

Happy new year everyone!

I just wanted to mention that I've purchased two of these, and my Low-Pro Adapter from PlanetVape fits both without a problem. There is variation between my two pieces...the overall height, the weld to the can, the appearance of the Dewar joint, and the perc is lower in the first one I bought than the second. Not sure if these subtle variations can account for the fact that my reducer works great, or if PlanetVape just has the right reducer for the job!

Thank you for this. I had only tried my lo-pro adapter in one bubbler. I just now tried it in the other and it fits! :) Just barely fits in one and is slightly too loose in the other.

Apparently they cant sell on AliBaba anymore. I ordered another bubbler from Kathy Hu.. it showed shipped and after 2 weeks of no tracking info, I emailed and was told they are no longer allowed to sell. I had to file a dispute and am waiting for a refund. I got two of the DHGate units like above.. the other one was the one with the Matrix-looking perc in it... still want one but now I cant seem to find a source. Maybe iOffer

Not quite matrix perc, but at less than 10% the price of the finer ones this looks like it could be pretty nice.

Not sure about the vendor. Never bought anything from them, but they do have great reviews.

Funny.... was just over there browsing and still had this in a browser tab!

Thats the exact piece I ordered and it got canceled. Its not Matrix straight up (I have a 60T) but it looks like it could be nice. Those DHGates are FABULOUS for vaping or combusting.

Watch those multi Showerhead percs. Usually, only the top Showerhead fires and the lower ones are useless. A whole lot of water for pretty much the same effect as a single Showerhead.
I am finding with my new VB double shower head HT that the top perc puts out twice what the bottom perc does, so both percs are definitely firing. It IS necessary for one to amp up the draw effort a slight bit in order to bring the bottom perc into action however. In all, the VBHT dbl. shower head works well with a comfortable draw.:2c:

We're here to fuck shit up.
The multiple showerheads may work better for some than others, but in my experience and in the videos I've seen, I've found that multiple showerheads are more for show than go. The lower Showerhead may fire on a clear, but rarely on the actual draw.

@Snappo, is there any chance you can post a video of your double Showerhead tube in action?

Wish I could but I'm not set up to vid. All I can offer here in terms of my experience with my dbl. shower head HT is that even I was skeptical of my purchase decision, before and, when I paid for it...but I went with it anyway. On my first try, it leaked. It turns out that I over-filled it with 3/4 inch above the top perc. The leak was avoided by only putting 1/8 inch and no more above the top perc. In front of the mirror, I drew in to see what kind of action I was getting. At first draw, mostly the top percs fired, with sporadic bottom perc action. So, on the 2nd trial, mid-draw, I amped up the draw effort a slight bit and got the bottom percs to fire at around half the top perc's output. Still, the overall draw effort was comfortable and light. I am pleased with my purchase.

Hi everyone, I would really like some advice about the sort of bubbler to get. Basically, I've bought an epicvape (small log-type vape) and a 14mm gong adapter so I think I'm looking for a 14mm bubbler with a female joint.

I've only ever used home made bongs and have never ever used a bubbler. I've recently been diagnosed with asthma and I've read that bubblers can help smooth the vape, more so than a bong. What should I be looking for in a bubbler? I'd definitely like to keep as much of the flavour as possible. I'm looking at the alliexpress and dhgate sites so can anyone recommend a 14mm bubbler from there please? Is there a trade-off between cool vapour (big bubbler) and tasty vapour (small bubbler)? Thanks a lot.

there is definitely a trade off between flavor and smoothness of the hit, but it is more about the amount of diffusion instead of the size of the bubbler. Size does play a small role because a bigger piece has more surface area for the vapor to condense on but at the same time, bigger pieces encourage you to take larger hits. like @Caligula said,a budget would definitely help narrow it down. I would imagine that you are looking for the smoothest hit possible considering your asthma. I would start looking for a piece that can really stack bubbles. Something like a matrix perc or a fritted disc or honeycomb. Typically though you won't find these types of percs on the smaller bubblers, but a medium sized piece that can stack anda little self control to not take massive hits will do wonders for your lungs.

I am sorely lacking any kind of rainbow colored pieces, which I hope to remedy some day. That looks like a nice one there grokit!

Thanks, I was just looking for some screens that aren't available in the usa, and came across this. I think the colors drew me in. I couldn't find a discount code but it seemed like an okay deal anyways, you guys would know better than me. It's made by grace and was ~$110 shipped.

It's 30/31cm tall, and will be my first non-ssv bubbler :science:

Thanks for the replies. I should have told you my budget and where I'm from. I'm from the UK so there doesn't seem to be much available without importing it. My budget, including shipping, is probably about $100 but I'd like a cheaper one if that's possible. Looking at that one from Apollyon, do you know if it's 14mm?

And I've got a 14mm all glass gong adapter coming with the Enano, so I'd rather not have to order a bigger adapter if I can help it. As for budget, I'd rather not pay more for coloured/patterned glass if it was availvable in plain glass. What would this one be like?

It's 18mm, but within your budget since you're in the uk.
It's in the "latest additions" section at everyonedoesit.com

That website you mentioned is so annoying. It hardly ever mentions the joint sizes and the site's a nightmare to search for anything. I got a delivery quote for that bubbler from that Netherlands website and it was only 10E.

Here's another one for about $55. It's got a 14mm joint (male though) and it's described as having a 10 arm perc and a honeycomb (diffuser?). I'm not sure what the height is. http://www.dhgate.com/product/10-ar...-ash-catcher/174261077.html#s4-1-1|1380927856

Thanks for that. Somehow though I need to convert the male gong end I've got (coming from the vape) to a female end don't I, for most bubblers? Is it normal for a gong piece to have a male end?
