Jack of all trades, master of none.
Got a white unit with 18 mm bowl. I really wish I had a use for the concentrate bowl and hookah attachment, but sadly I don't. Looking forward to testing out the unit and trying to add anything useful to the process.

I registered and looking to get in on the beta order. Is it still available?

I pretty much only vape oil but will definitely give some flowers a go.

I just added Concentrates bowl only as an option on the ordering page.

Happy New Year everyone

@Leiana
I like the new glass screened gong . Let's see it in action .

Also in your next vid , and please DO NOT be offended
by this request .

I would like to see the hit originate into the user's mouth ,
then exhale from the user's mouth . You don't have to
show your entire face , maybe a side shot or something alike .
2 hits in a row would be perfect , and ' unedited ' please .

Only because of the Mivape SHAM vid , I am asking for this .
I'm also on record here as a Version 2+ buyer Only .
I just might have to recant my statement for the VI .

1 last thing ,
Can you extend the deadline by one week ? Jan/10 ?

Best of Luck
We can extend the deadline but some people may get their units before you do.

We just did a hookah video with extremely serious clouds and nearly no browning. You will clearly see no one else in the frame or even how scamming is possible. Even some hits coming from the users mouth. We even blew some vapor out of the concentrates bowl to show it has good air flow. We can leave that video unedited for the most part.

ANY UNIT UPDATES SUCH AS A 220V MODEL WILL BE UPDATED FOR FREE WHEN YOU ORDER A BETA.
Our unit utilizes a quick disconnect from the box, to the unit. It can also be extended with a barrel extension cable like the one from here,
http://www.newark.com/multicomp/jr8307-1-5m/power-cord-dc-2-5mm-barrel-plug/dp/01M8010 .

Not everyone will get a concentrates bowl for free, those who will get one included in thier base order have committed to making a video or a image review of some sort.

Thank you!

Order in. No worries about being at the bottom of the list.

Your interaction in this thread made me want to do some beta testing of oil for this product. I feel I have the experience and usage pattern to put this baby through some heavy testing.

I ordered black, couldn't resist the Darth Vader imagery.

My beta order is in too.

Looking forward to trying it with some decent herb :D
I also look forward to comparing it to the Cloud+ I have recently acquired.

Will post a usage video when I receive it. Mine will be an international version too, just with the 18mm bowl though, can't get my hands on any concentrates for at the moment unfortunately.

Looking forward to it, thanks @Leiana and the Versa Vapor team!

Great Scott!
Ok guys...you know I don't like to be an early adopter, but this one got me. I'm totally in for the frosted glass AND the concentrates bowl. I like what I see.

@Leiana ...

What I think myself and everyone would love to see is more info on the wires that are in the air path. They are fiberglass, but are they sleeved with silicone?

Most every ecig style dab pen is full of UNSLEEVED fiberglass wicks. I think that a sleeved piece of something we usually slather concentrates directly on kind of puts that in perspective? Normally I'm an alarmist, but if the right kind of silicone is used I don't see how there can be a problem really. Also, would the users be able to tear the unit down enough to see the wires in the air path? A quick glance that they are not burnt or fraying etc should put a lot of minds at ease.

I'm very excited to have ordered this, I broke my own no more early adopter rules, I just like the idea of modular and customization among a few other things. I'll be posting reviews in my usual fashion, I'm not shy about it. I've got some pretty high expectations that I really think it could meet. For the price range it seems like if it does as advertised, its going to be pretty impressive. I can't think of ANY vapes that do direct draw, bag, and whips...nevermind if it does them all well. Maybe the herbalizer, but I never tried that, and this is what 1/3 of the price or less? I think if its pulled off as well as it looks on paper its got the capability of being a very useful vape to a lot of people. Variety of use is quite nice.

Ceramic SwapDrive changes:
We are innovating the exposure of wires on the ceramic heating element. We will try our best to ensure you have this change on your units. We can move the wires out of the air path 1 to 2 mm away from the heating element and brush coat the exposed wires in ceramic and Bake it. That is the only way to rid you of fiberglass exposure at this stage in the game.

Beta: Thank you!
We've had alot of orders so far and have yet to close the doors but.... we are getting close to being forced to. We can supply the demand for units but we have a certain amount of profit loss reserved for the beta soft launch. You guys are near wholesale cost on this unit. Your review and experience with the unit is totally worth the cost!!!

If you have any further suggestions or questions on your units you would like me to answer besides the control unit. Please ask. (Control unit finalization are almost complete.)

Can't wait to put it through its paces. I have an 18mm glass piece and a14mm with adapter. I'll be trying both. And I'll be using the bags whenever that adapter is available. My glass has been sitting unused since I got my volcano. Time to clean them up good in anticipation. Already using my nail thinking that if an all glass bowl works as good, why bother with the nail. If this replaces the nail I'll be thrilled. Though I will miss playing with titanium haha.

I cannot wait to try the Versa, hopefully it will have enough clearance with the additional size for a möbius ion. I went with the frosted, but was torn between all 3 options. :o I thought the frosted would blend with my other glass nicely.
I'm glad this will have a barrel jack as I find that my fakexhale's cord wraps and coils from use, which causes the cord to tighten up. :2c:

Not sure if I missed it or not, but are there any white Versa photos?

This video has more clouds than a bad day in Germany.
Watch this, There are pulls are shown coming from the users mouth directly more toward the end. with no cuts.

For those of you who went frosted, I think youll end up preferring White. Its so clean. I'll send everyone of you an image of the white one before I send out the frosted one. You can see the wires and joint clip on the glass swapdrive unit on the frosted one.

None have been posted that I know of. I would like to see one since thats the option I chose. I hope it is as I imagine it.

EDIT: Got ninja'd. I'm now happy with my color choice. That seems like a ridiculous amount of vapor. Almost too good to be true.

EDIT EDIT: I thought of a couple questions that I don't think have been asked yet. @Leiana
1. What is the heat up time?
2. Can the unit run 24/7?
3. What is the weight of the unit?

Thanks.

LMAO! It really does feel almost too good to be true but I just dont know how that much vapor is possible from that little amount of herb. I suppose when use the right temp, you really can get alot of vapor before browning takes place. We cant fake that. We have the camera aimed directly at the hookah which shows the bubbling during the rip but the vapor density is so high supposedly because the user only took short drags. You'll see, it can be emulated on any type of pipe. Longer drags can overheat the herb and dont necessarily create more vapor. This is in our experience with this vaporizer.

Depending on your mode the heat up is 2 mins to 5 mins. The variable option takes longer than the concentrates mode.
The unit weighs about 12oz

Beta Participants:
If any of you plan on using the halogen bulb, I recommend having a white or black unit. Its too bright otherwise. If you change your mind on a frosted unit let me know. They look good
but not for halogen.

My hookah has been packed up for years now. That video is great, I will be picking up and adapter down the road for sure!

Going to need a 14mm female to 18mm male adapter for my Bob Park custom nail pieces but have a clear 18mm with a heavy base that should work fine immediately.

Excitement and wonder has been bubbling inside of me since I placed my order today. I do wonder about the 720f temp for oil, I measure my nails at 780-850f with a high heat thermocouple for the starting temp I prefer to dab on TI. I measure the TI nail of a DBV oil kit at 680f and it just simmers oil and drops below 600f within a moment of drawing air and it can't hold a candle to taste or performance of a nail and torch. From what I have read the Versa is producing 720f air while being drawn through, is this correct? Just did a crude test with my 14mm TI nail, heated until glow (950f by the time I got the dome on) started a draw and was down to 700f within 5 sec. This makes me feel like 720f of constant hot air will do what I want it to do...I hope.

Edit: will the bag attachment work with concentrates?
I am not a bag man but I am a lazy man, if I can use a fan to blow concentrate vapor into my mouth from a horizontal position on the sofa I would be lazier then I am now. If I could hit a remote to turn it on and off, well that would be a dream come true, lol. Seriously though the ability to blow vapor is great for a gathering or patients who prefer not to put their mouths where other mouths have been is a great option.

Thanks for the response. It's pretty lightweight which is good, imho. Will halogen bulb heaters be available to the beta group at some point?

Black 18mm unit with all extras ordered. Happy to be part of the testing. Hope this new toy live up to expectations.
@Leiana Thanks for the chance to be part of the R & D.
I'm having a really more than easy access to good quality concentrates. I'll put this black beauty on its pace ASAP I have it in my hands.
Having different styles of bubblers and water tools make the testing way more enjoyable.
Stay vaped...

The 2.5 inch long ceramic heating element wont lose much heat with air. We are on 110v here but most houses are 120v. If you are one of those people you will see a 9.16& increase in heat up to 786 degrees. I doubt your concentrates will have an issue.

We have an infinity setup running day and night. None have died. We have been testing this element for quit some time. It has also been the daily driver during that time. Major R&D into that element. I tried hitting it with a hammer and it wouldnt open. These heaters also have a ceramic inner lining down the center air path that does work for our purposes of concentrates at 700+ degrees. We havent read the heat in the center but rather the radiant heat with a temp gun. You take a look at this picture below, Air passing through that is going to be very thoroughly heated with no cool down in sight. The ceramic element takes 1 whole minute to stop glowing.

Bag attachment will work with concentrates. That would be interesting to see. You need to use the bowl vertically with a dome screen in order to vape into a bag. We will make a video to display that function. Our whips and bags kit will be completed soon and you will have the chance to see it.

Yes but not until we find our sweet spot with the bulb. We need to go higher in wattage, We tested 75 watts bulb & 50. Not good enough yet but we are working on it simultaneous with all the rest of the developments. (Heaters, bag blowing, packaging, Cad design ect.)
Also our main glass provider stopped doing silver coating on glass because its "not green". Guess we gunna have to go organic or find someone who is willing to turn to the darkside..... .

These usage videos show an impressive amount of exhaled vapor! I usually use about 1/4 of that amount for personal sessions, but regardless this looks like it falls into the heavy hitter category. Efficiency testing results will be interesting.

That hookah attachment is the shit and is so simple...nice job! I would love to be able to hookah and lose the coals altogether. You've got me very interested in the attachments you guys are coming up with!

I am hoping it is not too late to get in on the beta group. This vape sure does look like a heavy hitter. I will be stoked to put one through some testing. Been looking for a desktop to fit my needs and this looks promising at a great pricepoint!

What Are the benefits of the halogen heater over the ceramic one?

Thanks

GSH

I think one of the benefits would be quicker heat up time.
Thanks, I would have thought the same.

Also I guess it makes for much easier repair too, Just replace the bulb if it blows? I have halogen bulbs at home that blow fairly often, depending on use they are only good for 6 months ish I reckon.

But the ability to cheaply repair the unit is very appealing...

Yes, all components on this vape will be easily replaced if broken or upgrading. In that sense, it's similar to the Flashvape.
