Nice 2nd vid .

So it looks like the heater in the Versa , Never comes in contact with the herbs . Therefore , no combustion will happen .
Can you please clarify ?
Combustion can happen on high settings. The heat from this unit can be a bit high, from 0F to 720F. You will know your sweat spot from the voltage readout. with our adapter bowls, the herb will never touch the heating element.
For some users they will desire higher heat range for this new concentrates/Wax craze. Some people are just crazy about having that high performance and it'll make or break a purchase lol.

THIS POST WILL BE LONG BUT BE PATIENT, ITS GOOD.

The Future of Vaporizing has already begun
So many game changing vaporizers have come in the past few years. After today, you wont "need" to touch wax or concentrates on a nail or hot plate any longer. The air generated in Overclock mode on our ceramic heating element will vaporize any concentrates it touches within milliseconds. There is a concept of heat density that I am learning about that has a lot to do with the dynamics. We will know more tomorrow or Thursday when we demo the new concentrates bowl at a local MMJ club. Footage will be taken.

Heat Range: Variable vs Overclocked
We measured the normal heat range maximum @ 490F to 540F. We are hitting 715F on Overclock mode. It will instantly combust herb while the element is glowing so thats not even an option, however it does heat up very quickly and will annihilate concentrates harder than anything I have seen in a vape yet. We even went as far as vaporizing coconut oil because its the number one smoke resistant oil on the market due to its medium chain fatty acids structure. Within half a second the whole chunk was in thick white vapor. I cook with high heat using coconut oil so this is a surprising test for me.
Fun Fact: During this whole test, the entire lower 4.5 inches of the unit were 80F and below. The open air flow design keeps heat dissipation at its maximum.

Design changes made in the last 48hrs
1. New power supply added for the digital LCD.
2. The worlds first all glass concentrates bowl to utilize mesh glass was born.
3. The interchangeable heater design was put into production, First models will be shown by the end of this week.
4. 3 position switch was added to support new wiring diagram for Concentrates/Overclock mode.
5. 5mm Thick glass was implemented and current model size was abandoned. (Yep that means the unit is a little bigger.)

BETA FOLKS!!! Email CS1@Versavapor.com
Please forgive me for I have sinned. I promised you emails by Tuesday and I know I'm cutting it close. Everyone who inquired about their eligibility, regardless if I had time to message you back or not, has been accepted into the beta program. That will only last till Thursday. Here is some basic info about the program.
1. We do give you a 3 year warranty. That warranty covers the circuit board and discounted heating elements, glass and free labor if you need to RMA but you must sign up on the site. Your membership on the site will allow me to log your warranty. We will soon have a member only area where an RMA & wholesale orders on parts can be made. If you order your own heating elements, you can install them within 1 to 2 mins if you follow directions.

2. We do expect feedback. We need sugar and salt. How you articulate the salt is at your discretion.
3. Some of you have been chosen as elite beta participants. This means you receive free upgrades until April 21st 2014. We will pass you new upgrades when they surface. Many upgrades, you may have influenced which you will receive credit for.
4. If any of you provide premium quality reviews that the company finds value in, we will upgrade your beta membership to elite as well.
5. We are requiring a co-pay on the models you receive.
Currently each model will cost you $160 US plus shipping for
everyone! International people have to pay extra for the step up converter. Dont worry, if we upgrade the circuitry you will be able to use it on 220v. This price can only last until Thursday because after that, we cant sustain that price point anymore. Everyone who sent emails, Invoices are coming today & I need to have everyone's invoices paid by the first Monday in January.
6. You WILL have the lowest priced upgrades until April 21 2014.
7. I need each and every one of you to register on www.Versavapor.com, a few of you already have. I will mark you in the system as our beta participants.

Picture time!
Wow. 715F, The engineer took that shot.

Great Scott!
I registered, but the site won't let me log in with my automatically generated password sadly.

I am so excited at the idea of ditching the torch and nail and using this thing instead! I'm already telling my buddy he can have my nail....once I have one of course haha.

I registered as well. My auto password didn't work either. As far as I could tell at least.

Looking forward to trying this out!

EDIT: I was able to log in. Go back and try logging in NOT using the link in the email.

Once you input the auto gen password, it will appear as if nothing happened. That's because its not redirecting. If you go to the main website, you'll see you are logged in and can change your password from the top toolbar dashboard.

As far as the Shipping registration and such, don't worry about that because I will collect all that info from each of you individually. I will have a link for international and domestic purchase orders. BTW you will need at least a 100W step-up for this vape to work properly. High performance vapes require more power & concentrates mode can really pull a load.

We will have a streamlined automated solution for your invoices today. It'll make it easier on all of us.

Snipped my favorite part :D

LMAO!

UPDATE!!!!

The glass manufacturer just dropped the vaporizer body for the first time in the shop. The floor was slightly padded similar to house carpet. "Ding" It bounced and didnt break. He says it fell directly on the joint itself. (He called it a doer style joint.)
AAAAANNND We are still upgrading to a thicker glass. according to the glass manufacturer our old model was 2.4mm thickness. We are now at 5mm.
Be careful with your betas because we are making the glass on an immediate basis and would like to save us all a little money.

The new bowl is here... <3
Beta Launch participants:

When I get back from the manufacturer I will focus on your invoicing process and email each and every one of you a link where you can fill out shipping info and pay.

For those of you who havent inquired you have until Thursday. Payment should be made by next Monday.
I am off to the bat cave.

A VIDEO IS COMING TODAY FOR SURE!

This all sounds good .

Obviously , we'll need our own bong to pair with the Versa .
I have a 14mm downstem .
So what exactly will I need to get , to hook it up with the Versa ?
I think you said the Versa is 18mm male joint ?

My gmail address will have poonman in it .
I want to start the New Year off with a BANG .

Happy New Year everyone .

It looks or seems very similar to a glass cloud/EVO. Looks really cool but I don't know how much the market needs this.

Especially if our vapor passes fiberglass covered wiring? The EVO is a concealed vapor path.

I'm all for all glass but not if something is in the way. Also, how much control do we have over our temperature and where is the thermostat?

I took it to mean that in order to expedite the Beta process they'd be sending out already existing thinner walled units and that future/production models would be the thicker glass.
But I'm sure she'll clear that up too.

It reads to me like the current unit is 5mm as he says we "now" have as compared to what "was." I read his caution message to mean that if we drop and break our betas, we won't be able to get a new one because they are making them on demand. Seems they would want betas to test as close as possible to what will be on the market rather than an already outdated model before the betas even went out.

Haven't gotten complete details from Leiana(beautiful name, is that Aphroditian?:)), and pre-apologies if this has been covered and I missed it, but does anyone know how this beta run will differ from pre-ordering?

Well @Leiana does state it's a beta launch in the post .
So I'm guessing we are pre-ordering a beta unit .

On their site , it also says they will start to ship in Spring of 2014 Fingers crossed , of course .

I hope they're correct about the 700 + degrees it can reached
for wax/concentrates . Vid plz .

poonman,
I would assume the big advantage to participating in the beta program is that you get the unit for about $100 less than street price. Of course, if the betas are thinner glass than what the final unit will be, that would severely limit that advantage. Waiting for Leiana's confirmation of that.

Nope 5mm from here on out.

We cant use the thinner glass for the mods that have been made. Your models will be future proof.

We dont do pre-ordering here. We have a working model that is used on a daily basis by a small control group. You are basically paying to be a part of that control group. We will close the doors for purchasing units in early January until further notice. These beta units will feel the thread with experiences and practices. Once we shut down the beta program, you can pre-order for the next launch which is early spring.

You will have these beta units in early-Mid January if you pay by next week. After the beta is closed, it moves into pre-ordering.
BTW we are working on a vid for you on this new bowl W/ Concentrate mode. Ill upload pics tonight.

A Glass Evo? One thing these products may have in common would likely be high performance but the Infinity is what vape distributors call a Hybrid Vaporizer. Multiple modes, multiple bowls, multiple heating elements, analog & digital interface. It's built on a quick disconnect design for the fastest upgrades and repairs. We are 100% American made and built.

Many believe this vape answers alot of industry desires but I dont speak for everyone saying that.

We are also introducing to the industry an all glass concentrates bowl with a unique design.

We have about half an inch of exposed wire sleeving in the air path. Open up any typical box vape that has an exposed ceramic element and you'll see how many inches of wire sleeving is exposed normally. Innovating sleeving is on our list of to do's. All it takes is 1 call to find an even more healthy solution. Some of our heater have silicone coated fiberglass sleeving but we are really trying our best at every step to fulfill everyones wishes. Thats why I recommended FC for the product.

We have a pending halogen heating element that utilizes a glass air path with millimeters of ceramic exposed.

To answer your question about the temp, you have 100% control of your temperature. There is an analog rheostat with a digital voltage read out to let you fine tune your sweet spot.

We are open to the community continuing to input in how our vaporizer can fill any lack.

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right
Thanks for all the helpful and prompt responses. Bodes well.

Will the Beta testers have access to just the base unit or will any of the extras (like the above pictured concentrate bowl) be available for testing too?

I so appreciate your answer for the most part but your actually incorrect about the air path.

I may not agree with everything that was in the original cloud and I have not looked inside an EVO but by design along with the bamboo there is no, none, zero, interface with any of the clouds internals.
The same stands for the herbalizer and even the hundred dollar vapulation. They allow you to open it and others like vaporfection on the vivape in which they completely isolate their airpath from any wiring as well.

Now I'm not saying that's a deal breaker but it certainly isn't factual. You also mention how this is ground breaking because it's modular or self upgradeable. Is that a joke, mods are plastered across ebay, ever heard of the Persei?

I'm not saying this thin doesn't look cool, but it ain't changing the game. Especially when compared incorrectly to other products.

Sorry for the double post, where does wiring get in the airpath on an lsv, dbv, ssv...

I wish companies picked beta testers based on their knowledge of vaporization, not their ability to pre-pay for a device.

I took it to mean groundbreaking at least in the area of desktop vaporizers since that's what it is and what the Persei (arguably) isn't (excluding The Core power adapter). I can't come up with another existing desktop vape company that currently offers the ability to upgrade/mod their vape out of the box and sells/plans to sell user-serviceable upgrades. The closest we get is log vape manufacturers updating heating cores as needed.

I am curious to see how their beta testing round goes, if it'll be like how Herbalizer did where they send you a unit to use/evaluate and then you send it back. Would kinda have to build up a relationship with the member first, sure, but it would be nice.

Yes we include a list of accessories & will likely prioritize new bowl releases to those who have written helpful reviews for the company along the way.

"Open up any vaporizer that has an exposed ceramic element and you'll see how many inches of wire sleeving is exposed normally."
And what I meant was more specifically is the typical box vapes. I am sorry for my etiquette. I am not a professional vape enthusiast like yourself. One day maybe.

(I cant defend the infinity product against other products. We have the FC rules printed and they warn of the dangers of debating.)

This is a beta soft launch which is different than a normal beta test. The units themselves are finalized hardware. We need a small controlled group of users who will daily drive these units.

We feel that our soft launch serves the beta test purpose as well, especially when opening it up to everyone because then we have different skill sets using the product from different perspectives. Alot of our buyers will be inexperienced in vaporizing switching from the world of smoking.

I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts because it allows me to humble my approach toward how I see the vaporizer. Maybe its not the best vape but our goal is to answer the call of the people. (Give us your advice.)

Looking forward to testing this out, Leiana. I really appreciate how thorough you are in explaining the process and replying to specifics. I like the new glass screened gong . Let's see it in action .

Also in your next vid , and please DO NOT be offended
by this request .

I would like to see the hit originate into the user's mouth ,
then exhale from the user's mouth . You don't have to
show your entire face , maybe a side shot or something alike .
2 hits in a row would be perfect , and ' unedited ' please .

Only because of the Mivape SHAM vid , I am asking for this .
I'm also on record here as a Version 2+ buyer Only .
I just might have to recant my statement for the VI .

1 last thing ,
Can you extend the deadline by one week ? Jan/10 ?

Best of Luck
