Hey I just want to give a shout out to Bob Loblaw, finally found the screen thread & your video (page 100), thanks man, feel I can't be any more ready for my christmas present. Only thing I think I need to get now for my set up would be a voltage meter, anyone know of a store that might carry them (in Ontario) ?

I think Canadian tire has them, mostly likley home depot or the like as well.

Amazon.ca is your best bet. They sell both the Kill-A-Watt and the Belkin one for around $30.

If you can find some gripper material, the kind use to help open jar or secure placemats, that will help keep the timer box from slipping. Also a mini baking sheet works really well for the abv.

Well after owning this Sublimator for 1 day now & never owning a vapourizor before, I FRIGGIN LOVE it !!
Didn't ever really get a full hit from the vapourizor's i have tried before with bags, but believe what everyone is saying about this machine, soooooooooooo tasty once you find the perfect temp. Only did 2 dabs off this so far because the flower taste so good & gets me ripped like a dab. WOW, had to wait till today to comment because yesterday was flyin (or too busy with the family) to even thiink about letting you all know. This makes medicating way too easy now Pack, Puff, Pour & Repeat. Well time for another...................

Glad to know you're loving your unit, Grey. If you want your OEM/stock screen to fit in the bottom just take a pair of sheers or strong scissors and cut the screen barely around the sides until satisfied. Don't cut too much or you won't be able to get the right fit. I got one that is perfectly trimmed and pops in most of the time without having to fix it in. Eventually after some runs you will see it stuck there because of oils from the herb building up around the edges to the bottom ledge. How I dump is very easy. Just tilt your atomizer and then let the herbs slide out on it's own and only your top screen should fall out while the other screen sticks and stays if you don't tap it out for dumping. Also, occasionally you will see black gunk or waste on the bottom screen, using a dabber tool to scrape it off to the side and out of your bowl helps keep the screen clear from debris getting stuck in the holes.

Screen tip works great thanks. Trim was all that was needed.
On a side note about the Sublimator, really don't need water filtration, this hits so smooth, amazing clouds upon exhale, suprising actually.

Sigh, guess father time has caught up to my Sub. The buzzing began approximately today just after I had posted this. Anybody know what can we do about this? I turned it off as soon as I heard it.

Wooot! woot! woot oh happy day I got a Sublimator for the Holidays! and its on the way- just went through Chicago- so its on American soil now Wooot!

I cant decide if I want in in a regular straight bong with down stem on the side or beaker style bong or maybe a can style bong with a good mouth piece coming off it? Maybe wait and see what kind of glass planet vapes is coming out with? New Medical glass?

So far I only hit one dry and it was great dont even know if it needs water

I wonder if Planet Vapes would quote me a price over the phone even though it aint on the website yet?

Bummer. Mine's been buzzing for a while now and getting louder. However, overall performance doesn't seem to be affected (so far) in my case. There may be a bit more temperature drift than usual, hard to tell. The buzzing is a characteristic of the timer component used in the controller box, or at least a percentage of them. There's a discussion about them on amazon.com if you're interested.

What I have been able to do when mine buzzes is to whack the controller box repeatedly with the plastic handle-end of a pair of office scissors until the noise stops, usually 1-6 whacks. It's kind of a caveman solution but it's been working for me. Of course I do my best to avoid whacking the temperature dial or the timer buttons, the plastic housing seems pretty resilient so I've just been whacking on it. Unfortunately the finger part of the scissors is broken now (not as strong as the housing, probably a good thing!), but they were getting dull anyways and the thumb part is still going strong.

Another approach may be earplugs, or headphones. Good luck with yours :tup:!

Glad to report that last night some reclaim started coming out finally & it is clean/clear thanks to all the screen tips. Lucky the Sublimator version I have has a reclaim catcher!!
I gotta say that I am completely impressed with the flavour I am getting from every hit, such a small amount gives such an excellent taste, was not expecting that.
Was getting away from the flowers lately with the dab scene exploding, but this has reminded me of my love of the bud!! Glad to have a way to enjoy them again YEA BABY.

Your sub has a reclaim catcher? Is it the glass sub buddy from P.V, or a newly designed launch tube?

I love the fact that it's easy to 'snap bowls' with the sub - I think that could be why it's so tasty, every hit is green.

You can see "mator" on the handle so there's probably a piece/cord that plugs into it.

That's how it came, with the reclaim catcher as shown.
I actually bought mine directly from Sublimator.ca & asked if it came with the reclaim catcher (which they obviously replied yes to). Found it a bit better priced there because they only charged 5% tax (instead of 13% in Ontario, no HST ?)

Good news everyone. I don't hear the buzzing anymore and I think because of the override option it caused it to buzz. Maybe a sign I should stop using override although I only use it when necessary and stop the usage in 2-3 hours. I guess it seems better to use the 30 min mark instead so it would stop the buzzing from reoccuring.

@Greybong so you are telling me that is the limited edition kit and now comes with the revised reclaim catcher? Wow, time to ask if they got that for those who order the tube separately. I want to complete my Sub but want that glass tube with tiers for a carburetor. C'mon @Enrico @DabDivas chime in on FC! It would be nice if we can get an update on the new items. :mmmm:
