The Pinnacle by Vaporblunt

Maybe yours did. I can only speak for what I got, mine came from a third party seller not vaporblunt so you never know. Some people like Dreamerr only received one bullet so no Pong is possible also.

RUDE BOY,
I just received a new Pinnacle in the Mail no Pong only a mouthpiece. I did order a Pong and Chamber cap from theyoyokid, the tinted are the black ones for the pnpro $19.99.
@RUDE BOY, I have the 18mm POG thingy that comes with the dlx 2.0 water tool that I'll never use, if it'd be any use to you, hit me up.

[edit] it seems another forum member can use it, so it is no longer being offered ;)

Thanx @mrboote I'm set for now. I have one pong to switch out with two pinnacles. Do actually like the mouthpiece, its ok with me.

I got lost for a little while looking for bigger visible vapor the mp still gives me the full effects with less vapor wafting away, since I'm just sippin' it serves me well.

Hey do you guys think the regular pinnacle with the 370 setting will be less heat then the Pro with its lowest being a 390 setting. Ive read here that the 370 is registering up and around 419 actual temps.

I like to stay close to the 350-370 range at all times since my throat is sensitive to heat. (more so than other people that I know)

No, that's not what I said. I said I measured that temperature in a unit at idle, at a place where no bud is. Based on the ABV appearance the 370 number is a good match for other vapes which claim this temperature (Solo, VB2, Ascent, Herbal Aire for instance). It is absolutely nothing like 420 degree ABV from other devices.

It's on par with other vapes I think temperature wise where it counts.

If you're sensitive to hot air this might not be a good choice for you, the path from the hot part to your mouth is like an inch long. Solo with a longer stem, VB with one built in or Ascent with more glass between you and the load might be better calls?

As our experience with MFLB shows in 'native' and stem hits show that even 3 inches of extra length helps some folks a lot.

Fuzzi, I extend the path with the omi condom and that helps a lot.
Pongs do not come with the pn if you don't get a water tool. A condom does fit on top of the regular mp and that will extend the path and help with visible vapor. I used the mp the other day to make sure I could get decent vapor with it. I will say it is harder and you really need to know your vape to get it. Beginners with this vape may not get any visible vapor using the mp. I will bet you still get medicated though.

Well I have not heard back from TRVB but I did receive a response to the E-mail.
It was a pretty generic response referring to the 90 day warranty and did not really address my question.
I am going to respond and see If I can reiterate my question but I don't expect to make much headway.

I will likely have to wait for the demand to rise for a solution to be offered from either VB or the FC community.
Thankfully it still lasts long enough for home use.

Hello,

I am a new guy here. Been reading you guys for a while. To study the vaporizer "game".
You really helped me alot by now. So I decided to go with a Pinnacle, bought it over the vapornation, it was on sale.
It was really cheap, for 70 dollars + the hydrotube 90. I was really happy cause I was gonna go with Pax and spend over 250. But since the price obvious and the fact that everyone said that Pinnacle is easy to clean and Pax is horrible in that field.
But now that I'm using my Pinnacle for 10 days now it started to stack some of the brown resin or what on the top of the mouthpiece.
I did get all of the cleaning tools but really can't figure a way to clean this mouthpiece but only with some water. Since you can only access is from the top of the mouthpiece. And it gets that yellow/brown color.
Please if anyone can help me with this situation. I was searching the youtube but couldn't find any tutorials or info.

First off, howdy! Welcome to the Forum. I just got my Pinnacle a little while back....couldn't pass on the deal. I'm still getting to know it, but I'm thinking it's an excellent vape for new owners. Great choice.

My routine way of dealing with such stem cleaning issues is to use the traditional specialty tool for the job.....pipe cleaners. I generally like the softer (non scrub) versions. For this job you need one. Fish it up from the bottom until half an inch or so sticks out. Then bend the bottom into 'saw teeth' maybe 1/4 inch tall (a short zig-zag). Several points each way. Then put a single drop of ISO on the cleaner up close to the stem, bend the half inch sticking out over, hook it with your thumb nail and pull it trough. It will automatically wet the inside, scrub the walls (side to side) as the 'teeth' get straightened out and finally dry the bore.

For stems with round holes, wrap the end of the cleaner around a toothpick or match stick so a spiral is pulled straighter going down the bore.

One shot and the war is over.

OF thank you!

I mean this is a whole new world to me. Im from Croatia and vaping here is a whole new thing.
So im still a real rookie at this. That ISO thing you all are talking about. That is some kind of alcohol?
So I need to go to the drug store to buy that.

Great, thanks for your advice. I appreciate that.

If anyone else has some tips that would be great, or some videos. Maybe some old pages i've missed. It's kinda fucked up searching thru 107 pages :/

Oh and yes, I'm really happy with this vaporizer. It's really really good. The mouthpiece ain't that bad like people say. It's discret and perfect for everyday use in public.

Yes, Isopropyl (sometimes called 'medical' or 'rubbing' alcohol here) is what you want. Effective solvent, reasonably safe, cheap and generally available. 90% or more is best, 70% will work OK.

Good luck with it.

I don't agree with using the high % iso with this mouth piece. If you rub it real quick you might not have an issue of creep but it still will be faster if you use that %. I suggest using the 50% to be safe.

Fair enough, but a fraction of a drop that's wiped off immediately has never been a problem. I used to clean acrylic tube used in a piece of gear we used this way, ISO will definitely attack there if you give it time.

One thing sure, it hasn't bothered mine, but I've only done it a few times. I'm using 91%.

I definitely would not soak parts, or even leave them damp for more than a second or so. But safe is safe.....

So how about cleaning the hydrotube?
The main problem is my tube is not like the ones I saw online. This one is all in one piece. So I can't get an access from the bottom of the pipe.

And about ISO is that really that harsh? I will than def get an lover % cause I don't wanna risk anything.

The classic clean for glass is ISO and table salt. It has to be strong ISO (at least 70%), otherwise the salt just dissolves rather than helping scrub the junk loose. Anyway, put a few spoons of salt and fill the WT maybe half full and shake it well. You can then flush it with water to remove the ISO and salt.

As I said, I've never had trouble with ISO but always keep contact with plastics brief. Glass is, of course, quite safe.

Do be careful shaking the tube cleaning it, this seems to be when most get broken (cleaning).......

@crazycro The water tool is glass you can use alcohol on it just don't soak the plastic Mouthpiece or pong. All the tubes they sell are one piece, the pictures look odd as some have a different shape.

Some people................tdub help.............use pwb or some shit for beer and it works great they say. Also you can use rez block so it doesn't build up as much.

I still say be really careful with iso on the mouth piece or pong. I have many broken ones to prove it and none were soaked and only two had a quick q-tip wash. I am still using my boiled one but it is having issues.

That would be "PBW", Powdered Brewery Wash:
http://www.midwestsupplies.com/pbw-by-five-star.html
http://www.fivestarchemicals.com/wp-content/uploads/PBWTech2.pdf

It does do a great job, but it's next to impossible to find outside the US. Even well traveled parts of the EC have failed to yield it. Probably has to do with the legal (and fairly common) here home brewing shops?

The OP probably has a much better chance of finding ISO, although you can brew up substitutes but that's not for the casual guy I think? I like the stuff, but think ISO is better advice for new guys.........

I do have a question about using ISO. Can you use clear spirits like vodka, gin or rum if you can't get ISO ? you can buy cheap vodka for less then ISO even here in Florida.

They will work, Gin is sometimes used even though it doesn't evaporate off completely (you need to rinse) but the big problem is concentration I think. 86 proof is only 43%, we want Everclear country here. Otherwise 'the salt trick' won't work. Still, worth a try IMO.

You know what they say about Chicken Soup? "Can't hurt, might help".
