Did you try calling them? Or calling the supplier if you did not buy directly from them...seems like a faster way then mailing...:2c:

tepictoton,
My MV completely broke!!!! :{{{{} unit won't turn on anymore, but before it broke it started to so weird stuff. First it didn't stop after coming up to temp, it kept going until it overheated! Then it was giving a weird taste. To make things worst I cannot get a hold of Hermes... I emailed them a couple times, what to do what to do

Maybe the retailer will be able to assist with your situation.

I hope everything will settle all right for you

I figured out I was pumping too much with my lungs pumping even to finish .1 loads of that that super dense and resinous bud I was talking about before. Now I load .06 to .07 ; it gives me thicker vapor ! Just less hits to take. I prefer it very much that way, vaporization is almost instantaneous, you don't have to wait for it coming while you draw ! Over packing really kills the experience, with big loads it's even blocking the air flow, the sap is clogging everything instead of getting vaporized it's dripping. I should write it on my load station. Load less and chain bowls if you don't mind the extra work it's very worthy ! It's very specific to theses dense flowers

I found a nice idea to use my MV with water filtration or with a glass stem, i took a white silicone mouthpiece included with each omicron cartridges and cut the part with the tiny hole (for a not restricted airflow).
The large part fit really good on the MV cap (not on the silicone cap) and you can use it directly in 14mm glass (or in 18mm with adaptater like me), ok omicron tips don't fit perfect at all in 14mm but the flat cap helps to keep the seal.
I think this way easier than the method without the cap, and keeping the cap help to maintain t° into the bowl between hits, I milk my bubblers like with my Cloud with this method, not so fast, but tastier.

You can put a FV glass stem which fit perfectly in the medium part of the omicron mouthpiece(there is 3 parts: the large one(fit onto the cart or the MV cap), the medium one and the little one (I cut it for a better airflow).

I like this vape, today better than before, and more tomorrow...

You start in the vapeworld with one of the better vape in my opinion, take time to learn to use it and it will become your better friend.
the first days I got it, i expected too much of it and I was a little bit disapointed but now I'm able to get long dry smooth session or short w/water cloudy session (really cloudy, look at Roger D vids to get an example)
I'm thinking to sold my Cloud+ since I have the MV, the MV is like a log vape with internal t° controller with the portability ability (not for mine), I never try a log vape but it look like in size

I'm looking for the air inlet but I can't find where there is fresh air entrance, somebody could told me?
(I know that it seems little stupid but after trying to clogg holes with my fingers I didn't feel any difference...)

There are two channels between the battery (or power base) and the top heater section for the air inlets. One on each side of the unit.

Boom , yes boom I've had no real issues ,nothing to moan about . Could do with some more baskets.

I prefer to use the rubber straw thing . Temp setting purple/pink is sweet for me can take big long lung fulls , big taste and no irratation to throat ,clouds filling the room every time .

Little clean up after a few loads and its done.

Even the wife has enjoyed few baskets to herself and said that the taste is so different . Lucky we have some nice local produce for Christmas .

Oh and just a breeze to leave the house without papers , cigs and lighter . Throw MV in me lunch bag for work ,switch on just as I start to eat ... Boom desert is served .

Ok a week with MV and all good , your produce is the most important thing above all ,I have the tool to do the job . Some meds work better than others finding well manicured and stored meds vape better.

it has opened my taste buds to an old companion .

The MV is not discreet the flashing lights are a too much could make them smaller ??

Have only ever tried the launch box before the MV , don't chase the clouds just relax and enjoy it can be very rewarding .

Warning you can over medicate very easy with MV ,seasoned vets have had to give another basket a miss .....

Does any one know if the pinnacle pro bullet fits the MV ??

Oh and merry Christmas vape friends , all the best for 2014

dunno for sure, but my feeling tells me pinnacle bowls might be too deep...

also, the led light, yes it is far from discrete lol...

enjoy a cloudy christmas:lol:

look a few pages back and you will find all you have been looking for...

you can either go the same route that I took, or look into Roger-D his set-up...both should work one way or the other.

Hi MiniVap Friends,

I´m new here, short Story about me after 12 Years of Joint/Cigarette smoking I decided to quit with smoking Tobacco, so I started vaping my Herbs :)
After 3 Months now with my Vaponic, I searched for new Vape Experiences and read a lot about the MiniVap and I was convinced it´s the best Vaporizer for me.

Since yesterday I´m a glad Owner of the Portable Kit, but now I got a Problem with it.
It worked once very well and I was so Happy with it, but after that one Time the MV does not turn on again :(

I think there´s a Problem with the AC Charger because the LED on it is very weird. Sometimes the LED is constantly Green, sometimes it´s switching between Green and Red, sometimes nothing happens and sometimes it´s blinking only Red for 2 or 3 Times and then nothing happens again.

It makes no Difference if the Battery is on the Charging Base or not, the LED on the AC Charger is still weird.

I got the battery for several hours on the Charging Base but the MV does not turn on

I already wrote an Email to Hermes Medical about my Problem, but I´m waiting for an answer.

That´s why I want to ask here, what happens on yours AC Charger when you put the Battery on the Base?

Thanks in Advance

When it needs charging it will turn red when you put the battery on the base. When it is fully charged the light will turn green. Without a battery the light should be green.

Did you try using it plugged in? You sure the plug is inserted into the base all the way? I made mistake at first too with this. Being to careful with putting pressure on the plug I did not insert it all the way...it needs to be plugged in completely.

Hermes can be slow on email, so if you really cannot solve this then calling might be a better option.

Hope you get your problems worked out, it's hard to beat this thing when it does its work...

Thanks for that really fast Reply

Yes I tried it plugged in but it does not work :( The MV showed no Reaction when I push the Buttons.

When it´s charging is the Red Light constant? or on/off?

Yes the Plug was my first Thought too, but I put it very strong in the Base, but it looks like it is not completely in, I will make a Pic of it.

Now the Green Light at the Charger is constant Green, the MV is on the Base, but there is no Reaction.

I tried calling them 2 or 3 Times but no Response, so I wrote the Email.

Hmm strange

when charging it is solid red, when full or not charging it should be solid green.

It's Saturday, so big chance nobody is 'in the office'...

Strange it is not working on battery or plugged in...

Here is my Plug, is yours complete in the Base? Or are there those 2mm like mine?

And here a Video of the weird LED...

It seems like there is a loose connection or something...

plug seems okay

never saw the led do that, so there must be a problem with your charger. Would also explain why it does not work plugged or unplugged, because both need the charger to function properly...

Hope the people from Hermes help you out soon.

from my own personal experience, nothing beats the minivap when it comes to portables. Okay, some will argue it is not portable, but they seem to mix up portable and stealthy if you ask me...yes it has a higher price mark...

Hope you can enjoy it again soon...

Are the golden plated contacts on the dock properly touching those on the battery back ?

I had a problem like this, but it was after months of ownership, the battery was not charging properly. When I was letting the empty battery by itself on the dock it was kinda blinking or staying on green. I had to push on it when it was on the base to show the red charging color.

I unscrewed the dock to tweak the gold contacts, pushing em just a little up, now it makes perfect contact every time. Check out if it's about the contacts, if you get a solid red when when you maintain the battery on the dock with your hand, that may be the problem.
