Does your glass get more gunked up by wax?

Like the title says, does your glass get gunked up faster when you use wax? As a result, do you need to clean your glass more often?

I'm finding it harder and harder to get my glass clean since I started using wax. :(

91% ISO is potent enough to dissolve any build-up from wax. Fill with alcohol and wait, no shaking necessary. If the piece is ultra dirty, loosen the gunk by running the piece under hot water first. If you are diligent about rinsing after every session, you can go quite awhile before you have to break the solvents out in fact.

I Find my oil rig much easier to clean. No small particles of plant matter, no stinky water smell. It's just an overall more enjoyable cleaning experience. I use 91% iso no matter what piece I clean, and the iso simply doesn't cut it with my vapor rig. That plant matter really causes hard build up IME.
FWIW I also never use salt, which could explain why I have more difficulty cleaning my vapor rig?

EDIT: Also heating up the ISO a bit can help a lot with cleaning dirty glass.

The 91% ISO I'm using now isn't cutting it, even with added salt. :(

Heating both the glass and the ISO will help tremendously.

Rinse glass with hot water so it doesn't absorb the heat from the warm ISO. Then boil some water, turn off heat/flame, and place ISO in hot water for a few before adding to glass.

To save on cost of ISO, reuse it. Fill your glass with desired amount, rinse and then return to another or the same bottle. Then when you think it is dark enough you can reclaim it or toss it for a new bottle.

I'll try that too, thank you!!!

@mvapes had a tub and it inspired me to make my own larger one, but we just throw our pieces into a simple green concentrate mix overnight and rinse it out in the morning, ends up looking brand new!

But yes, concentrates do end up leaving more residue in pieces.

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
I've found that dabbing a nail or skillet that isnt heated cherry red to be less messy on the glass (and in turn easier to clean, not to mention nicer on the bronchs). I tend to just heat it enough to start its glow and stop now, finding it much better a method.
