DMT Vaporization

The most popular methods of ingesting DMT are to vaporize it in a freebase pipe, light bulb, or even some tin foil contraption.
And you don't have much time between starting to vape it and the inevitable inability to continue; so I figure that if you want to consume as much as possible as consistently and fast as possible, advanced electronic vaporizers would be the way to go.

I know that the melting point is 116 degrees F and the boiling point is 140-176 F. So any vaporizer should have the ability.
But the problem is that the DMT would melt before vaporizing so it would ruin a lot of vaporizer models and/or not work well in them. It would also ruin the taste of whatever tube or whip you used. I've heard that using a bed of bud to keep the liquid in place works well.
Does anyone have any more knowledge about this? I've heard some people have used the Volcano with some success, but not much else about vapes and this substance. Maybe designate one PD tube for that purpose? But I?d want plenty of herb between me and a boiling liquid.

1) These can't be the only companies to do this but they offer something for just this purpose I believe: Aromed's glass pellets and GotVape has them for the 'cano here. Not sure how well these would work with the I-Inhale as I'm not familiar with that unit, is that the one you were trying to use?

2) at temperatures below 200* F your bud wouldn't even be close to vaporizing, so why bother using weed? Just use tea or something?

Salvia.... all I have to say about that is "another world."

On the subject of vaporizing things that may ruin vaporizers, I have a little experience with this with some oils I've made myself. All the liquid pad is basically a super brillo pad (I hate saying this, as I've never used anything that would necessitate a brillo pad) that won't allow anything (but forced air) through the unit.

thats part of the problem...I can still respect the trip tho as i have enjoyed the likes of L and musshies and shit...possibly not even close to the same level as Dmt it sounds

heheh sound good IMO ...but you know you should treat it with respect and ride on small doze first ....salvia is crazy shit compared with LSD or mush LOLLL but once you get it it is pretty cool ....I'm sure dmt is the same ! just an other way to explore you mind !

I own also a lot of lophophora W and have to much respect for them to just eat them but one day if onw die for some reason I'll try to vap it or at least eat it !!!

I've had plenty of experience with psychedelics, but DMT is one of the few I haven't experienced.

I doubt I would bother with any crystalline/vaporizing (if you can even find any)...

Make a MAOI and Ayahausca brew. Push the envelope, watch it bend.

Oh and the most popular way of ingesting DMT isn't via vaporizing... people have been chugging that 'spiritual sludge' for hundreds, possibly thousands of years, long before it was synthesized or a crystalline version was developed.

People really think Salvia is stronger than other psychedelics? Wow. I've done a variety of salvia extracts in extremely high doses and it is no where near as powerful as the entire collapse of reality on a high dose of Lucy or fungi. I don't bother with Salvia anymore -- taste like cat piss, and it's provides more 'delirium' than an appreciative and productive high.

If you take DMT in a brew then you dont get the earth shattering insant ego death, it comes on much slower and is easier to handle, im waiting on a freind to get a bunch of bark so i can do an extraction.

on the shroomery, the vaporgenie and dmt have been mentioned together quite a few times

personally i wouldnt vaporize it through anything that you cant clean thouroughly afterwards, vaporgenie and the pd would be the best imo

Tea or another herb would probably be best because of the lower vaping temps and the fact that weed fogs the trip.
I've smoked salvia several times and I'm confident that DMT's going to be an entirely different experience.
My fault for not acknowledging the hundreds of years of oral use. I was only referring to the modern North American method of ingestion.
Thanks AoZ. I'll have to look up more about that. It's just so tough to decide whether to buy a freebase pipe or risk trying to get a better/longer trip via vape. DMT's hard to get so I don't want to waste any however I decide to consume. :/

The only times I have ever done DMT was using a volcano. The volcano comes with a liquid pad which is basically a disk of steel wool. The pad absorbs it once it becomes a liquid. My friend who gave it to me said it was the most he had seen anybody take before at one time. It was definitely the most powerful trip I have ever experienced. Too bad I can't remember half of it.

When vaporizing ( smoking ) DMT the onset is insanely fast, most people report they are tripping before they even exhale. When one "breaks through" on DMT your EGO dies at that moment, if you are not prepared for this then you can actually beleive that you have died, its one of those : if it smells like a chicken, looks like a chicken, then its a chicken deals. You have to be prepared for the fact that you are a person with an identity one second, and the next you are nothing.

Yeah, I was reading the way people describe the trip and it doesn't even sound pleasant, but I guess it must be cause people want to do it, but the description of it doesn't sound pleasant. So what happens if you aren't prepared to have your ego shattered? I never even heard of DMT til today, guess I'm behind the times...is this s a recent phenomena. Hell yeah dude. That's the only way to go. Some of my dad's friends (Harvard PhDs haha) went down to the Amazon and hired a shaman to take them on an ayahuasca trip a couple years back. Apparently they said it was one of the singular experiences of their lives.

i could theoretically get some mimosa hostilis root bark in the morning and by sundown i could have extracted a couple grams of cystalline dmt suitable for vaporizing, its a simple procedure and is well publcised in psychedelics forums, no "bathtub cooking" or "streets" involved
