Combustion plus vapor?

Okay so as i sit in my ice house vaping waiting for some walleye, i was lost in thought, as im alone in my ice house i came across something weird to me.

Hypothetically im about go roll up, pack a glass bowl, or load tha bong, but MAINLY when rolling up,and you combust, there's tha cherry very front of your j or blunt, that hot air vapes weed as it travels backwards into your mouth. Is that where most of tha effect is coming from?

Im sorry if i shouldn't have started a thread for this, im just vaked thinking, and want some input of what you guys think.

I do not suggest combustion ever. That's just me.

I think it's straight combustion but I see and would agree that that hot ass air could be partially vaping the weed before the joint gets smaller and combusts it.

Sounds logical, I would think you probally get a 5% air, 7% vapor, and 88% combustion byproducts. That is just a wild thought up statistical conclusion and based on nothing.

Also jealous you live in Minnesota, had some relatives that have a lake house up there, think the lake is
Minnewawa.

Talk about the best fishing of my life, the pike bite like crazy in may and june, and you can catch as many pan fish as you want if you got enough worms and a cane pole. Amazing air too, I have since hated the air where I live since the quality pales in comparison.

I gotta agree that majority is nasty combustion byproducts, but there's gotta be a quite a bit of vaporization occurring.. Can air be too "full" to hold onto any vapor? Or am i far off?

@Jahannum i can always think of something to complain about whether it be mosquitoes, wood ticks, snow, cold temps, but i have a beautiful state and i think I've been blessed to grow up here experiencing how much nature has to offer. wouldn't mind seeing some mountains or oceans though..

and minnesota's fishing.. That's all i have to say :)

I grew up in the woods on an island from coastal south east Georgia. It was not a heavy tourist spot like some of the other close Islands so it was like having my own private beach everyday. No hunting was allowed on the island so wildlife was very abundant. Have to say I love island life, but do not plan on returning to an islander like lifestyle until I find a wife. For all the greatness islands offer, there is not very many people, so it is good to bring someone there with you.

It kind of depends on how hot the air is. Anywhere there's flame, it's going to exceed vaporization temperature. It's reasonable to suppose that as one part of the bowl is combusting, another part, farther away from the flame, is vaporizing. But once that cherry gets going, the combustion taste/effect takes over. I think maybe that's why the first "green hit" of a bowl tastes so good, because there's a higher amount of vaporizing going on.

This is where I lived http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jekyll_Island.

My mom was part of the Island authority and worked at the campground. We lived like a mile down a dirt road into the woods on the undeveloped northern part of the Island(was 5 Houses spread out in a couple acre clearing that was for island authority at a cheap price). It was the dirt road by the Horton house if you have ever been there.

Summer fuckin waves! But yeah I've been there on school trips when I could go. Deep South woods are the shit. I miss the ocean and seafood. Fuckin Fukushima.

I'm from north of there. Never going back unless visiting cause I love this air and no bugs. It's so muggy and ball sweating humidity back home.

Since my mom was Island authority, I got to go to Summer Waves for free everyday. I did so for like 2-3 years, would go to the beach alot as well. Loved Pirates Passage, and the second tallest one, the waterslide you have to use those spunge blankets for. I am pale now, but I used to be dark tanned with light blonde hair from the sun.
