My replacement arrived today. They (discreetvape) refunded me for shipping, after providing a picture of the mailing receipt by email. The replacement was delayed in the mail center in Hong Kong, and was returned to the manufacture? Which I was able to verify through the tracking # I was provided. They sent me a update on the status explaining the shipping situation and said They had shipped it overnight through a diffrent carrier. Provided me with a new tracking#. They included alot of extras (around $34.00 worth) to compensate for the delay. I am very pleased with there customer service. Hope this one lasts longer than one month.

two changes I like about the x are the smaller chamber, each time I empty it I am surprised of how little
it holds and second is the better battery life, after a decent session the battery was still on green plus
with the new adapter it chargers much faster.

Used this thing for one day and put it on the charger go to take it off and it kept blinking green slowly and won't stop evrytime I take the cap off that's all it does .. And after one day... I knew this vape wasn't anything to great but I didn't think it would be this bad thank god I have other vape options but for someone looking to get one I highly recomend something with better quality like a mflb or an arizer solo just don't get this product it horrible if anyone can help my problem let me know ..

Hope thee got it sorted - if not - try flicking the little 'button' at the bottom of the mouthpiece.
My original had that issue and a quick flick sorted it - it can get stuck occasionally.

Have an X due later this week - mainly for Hayfever next summer - but also out of curiosity.
The Puffit worked great with Nettles for me Hayfever - but i could end up by sneezing trying to draw for 10 seconds. The fan should eliminate that and allow 2- hits from one heating 'session' - which should make it ideal.

Hopefully, it will be at least as good with other dry herbs

As far as taste goes - after following the salt + Iso cleaning vid - it was fine. Will try and pop a vid up once i've had a bit of a play.

@chaseGdaBarber I agree with barefoot that the iso +salt is very important. I did this just recently and it made a huge difference, eliminted almost all of the silicone flavor. Here is the instructions I followed. Hope this helps.

Solo is portable, but it isnt really pocketable...its too bulky to fit in my jean pockets. Yes you can put it in like a jacket pocket or something, but thats only good when its cold or raining and then you have the stems which are seperate from the unit and quite fragile...

Is the solo one of the bettery portables, yes, but i wouldnt say anything out right now is the best they all have flaws...

To bring it back on topic, If they could just get rid of the snokel/platic taste this would definitely be one of the better options and i would definitely buy one...why not a SS tubing or glass tubing inside and avoild the silicone all together...

Yes true but I am an avid mountain biker and have never broken a tube from crashing its not thin glass.
if its the sacrifice I have to make to have good vapor and taste that is okay. the solo honestly is the best portable I know its preference but for taste, vapor stepping, battery life, quality, dense vapor clouds the solo is the best IMO.

I don't understand why they would use a golden bowl and then unworthy components. I think the puffit people could have done a better job than just adding a fan and a silicone taste. but it is as simple as not buying it

Consider yourself lucky, i had 1 stem roll of my kitchen table and break,and i had another in the PV travel tube fall from my lap while getting out of my car that broke inside the tube...

The silicone taste was always there with the puffit from its release, they said it was a problem with the silicone not being cured and they were gonna fix it, but it doesnt seem like they ever did, or what they did never worked...

I just dont understand how they release a 2nd version and it doesnt address the biggest issue people had with the original...

I LOVED my da vinci until it blew up last night plugging it into my car charger.. I think I've seen some say bad things about vaporizersexpress but i could be wrong.. I say da vinci or solo. Solo's are around 113 on ebay with full warranty.

Also, are they selling the original or the "x"?

So recently I decided to get a portable vaporizer for a couple reasons: To help my younger brother's asthma (We both have it, but I smoke all kinds of tobacco and my lungs are shit anyways) and to be able to enjoy some bud inside the house. Well I went with the Puffit-X because I had a decent amount of money to spend, but not enough for something like the Pax, and since we both have asthma nobody would second-guess it (Plus it looks... I dunno... sleek?)

Anyways, I can't get the damn thing to produce vapor. I charged it right out of the box and loaded it up (Completely full and packed tightly like it said), then changed the heat dial to 7 and started vaping. IIRC it was actually producing (visible) vapor, but I ended up watching TV with my mom and had to stop. After having taken 3~ish hits I didn't feel anything for quite a while, but I've been an everyday smoker for a couple months (Every other day and every day for short periods before that) so that's forgivable. Later, my bro and I decided to give it a whirl and each took about 4 hits before we realized no vapor was coming out when held away from the mouth. All night it's been the same. I've tried stirring the weed, changing out the weed, playing with the heat (Still kept on 7 or 8 most of the time though) and fan settings (Still don't get the fan settings but I played with them anyways), cleaning out the Puffit-X, charging to full, etc... No matter what I do if I hold it away from my mouth no vapor comes out (The fan is on though). I can feel the aluminum cap getting hot, there's a light taste comparable to the one time I used my friend's MFLB, and the weed is changing color. In spite of all that, we're still not high at all (A couple times I thought I felt it a tiny bit, but most likely placebo and/or light-headed-ness) and there's still no vapor... What the fuck?

Packed too tight? How dry is your material? Quality? I've had bud produce almost no vapor, but I've gotten very medicated, so lots of variables.

What did you set the fan to? Try this, turn the dial down to 1, replace magnetic cap. Hold down on silver cap, while depressing it, remove magnetic cap. Then turn dial to between 2 closer to 3, replace magnetic cap. This is were I set my fan to get decent vapor from mine. After setting the fan. Try to get your herb ground very fine, (almost powder.) Using the included funnel, fill it up to the top. Don't pack it down (the spring on the cap will compress it.) Set to 6 engauge heater allow to cycle once without hitting it (red to green and back to red). Then on the second heating cycle when the light turn green go for it. Also try not to inhale, allow the fan to do the work. After 2 or 3 hits increase temperature. Hope this helps, good luck.

The puffit x isn't great. Neither is the pax they both suck at vapor production. Battery life and taste.

Honestly buy an arizer solo off ebay. Best of the best. You won't regret it. Plus the puffit is uncomfortable to use. Get a real vape you won't be disappointed
