Thank you for the video Vito. Can you give us a little more info on the design of the heater and dome? Is it more comparable to the DR Dabber/Dabbler? Is there a wick system or coil. Any info would be really appreciated.

It is a coil system similar in it's structure to the Dabbler, but of different proportions. The coils appear to be tighter.
The dome has a carb on it (the Fancy one does as well.)

about how much are you guys loading into the vip2 carts? it seems it cant hold much more than maybe .2 grams of concentrate? also has anyone had any spillage with the modified heating elements and the vip2 while using?

I have had no spills and I don't put the top on either. I do keep it in a doob tube but it rolls around my car not in it and no issue. I am more careful when it is hot out for obvious reasons.

I have no idea as all I have is the vip2. I put some mighty big dabs in there but I am a noob with dabs and stuff. I have not had that foul taste or if I do it doesn't bother me as long as I get meds.

Hi I have a vapor brothers dabbler pen and honestly would like to try this VIP 1.3 heater on it because of the bigger tank and glass screen for herbs. Is the DABBLER battery compatible threading with the VIP 1.3 Heaters/domes????? I figure Vitolo would be able to easily answer this.....Now that im looking at it it seems the peice that goes from the heater to the mouthpeice cannot be purchased individually which would put me shit out of luck

Not in my mind.
I feel it is suited for waxes/oils....
and for herbs when needed.
I do not feel it is for everyday use for just herb.

Yes, I use it... it does get clogged once in a while, but kept clean, it is great fun!

How would you compare it to the vip1 in terms of how fast they get clogged? Also of the two, which holds the most wax?

Your Input is greatly appreciated as im finding concentrate pens are the only thing that keeps me from combusting too much haha

Hi everyone I'm very new to the forum and just have some quick questions. I plan on using the VIP solely for herb. They are havig a deal on SSV's site selling the VIP for 80 bucks and I don't want to lose the deal so my question is, is this vape good for vaping herbs. Does it vape and not burn like most pen vapes and is it solid enough to last more then a week without burningout or needing a new heating chamber thanks.

The new glass discs that come with the VIP do allow vaping of herb.
You can see it being used for herb at http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/vip-from-ssv.8905/page-16#post-475800
It is good for a quick vape, when needed, but I do not suggest you go into this thinking that it will be a daily driver for herb. It is the glass disc itself that transfers the heat so you are in control, and should not burn herb.... BUT--->
it holds a small amount, and is not ideal for this purpose.

Hey all!
So after much research I have decided to go with the VIP 1.3. I got both the dry herb and the domarizer kits. I just ordered it from the website with a 7 inch dime bag not realizing they advertise the old style VIP with the 8 inch dime bag.

Does anyone know the exact size of the VIP 1.3 fully assembled and if it will fit in the 7 inch dime bag? 7th floor is notorious for long shipping times so I'd rather deal with this now before it ships.

I grabbed a VIP 1 a week ago, and I am blown away by this pen. It will take a huge load and produce hit after tasty hit. The battery lasts forever. If the heater holds up well, my search for the right pen is over!
