I am wondering if my battery may have issues now, I get the flashing light before the end of a day if i don't top the charge off sometime in the afternoon. Is this not normal?

It is not normal, your battery should not be discharging in one day.

I noticed it at 2-3 days on my device and they are taking care of me. If yours is dropping out in under 1 day, I think you have a case.

Hey guys, thanks for the incredibly in depth reviews. I just got my dabbler in the mail today. It works fine and hits like a champ! One thing though, when I plug it in to charge. I do not see a red light come on at all. I do not know if this is maybe because it is already charged enough, or the battery can no longer charge. Any help is appreciated!:)

I would use it for a few more days and then try to charge it again, if there is no red light, then you should contact vaporwarehouse/vapor bros for warranty. The red light indicates when the unit is charging, and will stop lighting once the unit is fully charged.

Also, the red light is where you plug the mini-usb into to charge, so maybe you just didn't notice it?

the problem is that it wont work when the heater is on it. When it is plugged in with out the heater attached it turns on like normal, red light is on for a minute then fade out and kinda just barely wimper some red. Now when its plugged in without the heater I can press the power button and it will light up, stay on, and make a little sound as if its engaged. This seems normal. Then i put the heater on to take a hit. Press the power button it lights up for a sec then just goes out, no sound of engaging or anything with the battery. Now when it is plugged in with the heater on the battery. The charging light will stay red and did for over two hours. So i tried it again and the same thing happened. Power button lights up for a second like its going to engage then immediately shuts off and wont work. Now after i do that I unscrewed the heater right away and when i do that the power button light flashes three times and then seems fine again without the heater on it. just sucks cause its so new. I have contacted vaporwarehouse but i figured id see if anyone could help me out on here. back to smoking dubies i guess:huh::huh::shrug::shrug:

@rekrab - Sounds like the VB battery positive post is press down to far. You can try taking a small flathead screwdriver and gently waggle the positive post up away from the rubber oring in the battery 510 head.

I have contacted vaporwarehouse

Hey Rekrab, I think I just responded to your e-mail. Sorry for the delayed reply. Took my kids to another pumpkin farm today, trying to spend as much time with them before I'm gone for 4 days.

One thing though, when I plug it in to charge. I do not see a red light come on at all.

aesthyrian already covered this but in case you missed, the red light is in the bottom where the usb charger is. The button light only stays that color. Sounds like your Dabbler is working fine and you may have just missed the location of the red light.

I knew where the light was to begin with, as the first time I used it I went to "top off" the battery as directed by the manual. While doing so I noticed the light. Since then, I've been able to use my dabblker but the red light (near charging port) does not come on.

Ok, good. I have to cover all bases and sometimes ask basic, silly questions. But you would be surprised how many customers don't even know how to unlock the Dabbler.

This is the first I've heard of the red light not working but there's a first time for everything. If this presents an issue, we have you covered and will replace the battery.

I want to ask something here, everybody. We could introduce a globe that works with the Dabbler. Yes the globe hits are fantastic. But all sorts of similar looking globes are everywhere selling for half the price. A Dabbler compatible globe would be better- thicker wire, consistent bowl, every piece heated up and checked by us. The ruggedness and reliability would be better. But there's tons of other shit out there that looks the same and of

I would definitely buy a globe attachment from you gguys especially since it has the vaporbros name with it! I will report back on the light issue when the battery FINALLY runs low and needs charging. :smug::chill::zzz:

Okay, so my battery finally ran out of juice. The verdiccçct issss. The device seems to be charging, but at a minimal rate with the red light still not coming on at the charging port. I can leave the device on the charger for a few hours and it'll give me exactly one draw. After the button begins to flash again. Really hope I can get some of that excellent customer service that vaporbros/warehouse are known for!

I'm still thinking it's not really charging. I bet all you're seeing is the battery voltage recovering enough to get back over the line for a few seconds.

Are you sure it's not a connection issue with the little adapter? Have you tried another mini USB cable?

Not a given I think, didn't he just say he was going to be out of town and be spotty in contacts for a week or so (in Colorado?).

I'm sure he'll get back, but would not promise tomorrow morning......

Great news, we just found out a few days ago that High Times picked the Vaporbrothers Dabbler as the #1 vaporizer pen for a special vape pen edition in November.

Thank you OF, as you were very correct.

I haven't had much time to deal with customer service while at the show. Jason has been covering for me and he doesn't work around the clock, 7 days a week like me. So there will be a slight delay in us getting back to customers this week. All should be back to normal next week when we are both back in the office.

Congrats! It's a fantastic pen. I just got a fresh heater...back in the game...well, as soon as I track down some more oil. :D

Wow! That's a first, High Times usually seems to give the top spots to pay to play companies, which usually means that their top picks are utter crap. Glad to see that isn't the case this time around. Congrats!

My replacement battery is on its way! Thank you so much VaporBros, you have truly outdone yourselves on every level. Vape pen of November!? More like YEAR. In the short time I had my functional dabbler, it was MUCH much easier to medicate discreetly, efficiently, and effectively. I couldn't have asked for anything more than the service that was provided to me by your wonderful company. Anyone browsing this thread considering in buying a dabbler. DO IT. You will not be disappointed, and if you are! VaporBros will be there to wipe away the tears with their excellent customer service. ROCK ON VAPORBROS/WAREHOUSE!

Have been loving the replacement Dabbler! Much smoother hits when I hold the button down now!

THANK YOU VaporWarehouse for taking care of business!

I have been using it like this recently:

Since I use the Omicron tip, the silicone is the PERFECT seal to hold the Nibbler X on tightly. And I can lay it down if I want, the water stays put, thanks to the W9Tech Engineering.

I accidentally slipped while filling the dabbler and dislodged one side of the coil. Now it is broken!! :( is there a quick fix to this or do I need to order another coil?

Almost surely not. If you look close you'll notice the coil wire is welded to (non heating) leads just as they exit the ceramic body. Unless you're set up to do that weld, you're probably SOL. The 'fix' is a new heater ($26):

Great Scott!
Possible new dabbler heater, any idea when you guys could release this bad boy. Exactly what I have been looking for

This is why I'm always waiting. What is different? Instead of fiberglass wicks they use ceramic? Sign me up for one of those.

The wicks are the one thing sketching me out about this market, even on high end stuff like persei carts. They fixed it with the herc, but we need more wickless options. I'm testing Gentleman's wickless carts while waiting to see what more respectable companies put out.

I'm following this vape closely, and I may be sold if they have nothing but stainless (or TI) coils, and ceramic or no wicks.

So excited for a coil redesign. The Dabbler has been my go to since I have had some sub-par concentrate. I am interested to see how the new coil reacts when EO is melted over the top of it. Will the EO melt down the creamic element and drip to the floor of the crucible? Or does it retain the EO in the ceramic element?

yeah even the best silica wicks are short-lived and off-putting. I used Gentleman's hash oil carts for a few months. Out of 9 individual carts I only got 5 that worked, and really only two that worked well. Those two were the two best disposable carts I ever used!! I couldn't deal with the poor Quality Control, though, especially when it comes to the mesh on the bottom around the coil. I gave up on them because of the massive amount of hash they wasted. It sucks because when you get a good one they are clogless, efficient and hit like a goddamn freight train and last me around 2 months at .5 g oil use per day, but few of the ones I bought were good.
