Still eyeing one of those Delta Nine stemline+honeycomb recyclers, so tempting...damn you GAS! Not like I need to be spending any more money on glass, why do you have to make me feel so poor PhotoRider!

Don't get the honeycomb, get the one w/o it... I have the honeycomb, it doesn't recycle as well as the one w/o it.

Yes theheadcenter.

Well I don't get FLskwat's cousin aka the green slime one. The store sold it and forgot to update the site :) I get the purple drip :) OK by me. Green was better, but its only the color. It will match purple rain I guess. The blower of the Purple Rain piece (in the major thread_ is doing me a recycler, but it takes a couple months...

Hi PhotoRider,
When you say the honeycomb cycler doesn't recycle as well as just the stemline piece do you mean you are getting splashback (it doesn't recycle the water back properly) or that it doesn't vortex properly in the funnel section but still keeps the water recycling?

Hi PhotoRider,

The latter - the honeycomb creates too much turbulence and the whirlpool action in the funnel is affected. Still recycles and operates just fine. Its the visual effect that is different compared to like the Hamm. Outside that it works good. It you want the visual get the version w/o it.

Most recyclers have less percs. The whirlpool visual i much better w/o them. The honeycomb perc well, but some don't like honeycomb & vape, but I'm good with it, frits also

I was here to ask that as well Hoops. I want one! Also, we would love to see a video of that baby if you have the ability.
No problem. have a list to do.... Cost me another pipe. Since it wasn't shipped yet and it was sold, they gave me a great price on a Boro Farm limited worked oil rig. My aim is to at least try each and keep my favs :) how else do you really know you like it unless you try it :)

For whirlpool this one kills anything else I have personally seen. Only thing its BIG and a high water level. Makes the volume perfect and really draws easy.

Who make that Swiss recycler?
How much is it?
Why don't I own it yet?

I'm not generally a fan of that "inverted" style of sandblasting (where they blast most of the piece and leave the clear bits as the artwork) but that one looks cool

But yeah, Swiss-Cycler =

hahaha - I have 1st dibs. I believe its like $1200. Not sure about the blower yet, but it looks like Liberty 503 work and they are local. My friend knows them so 1+1=2. Could be wrong though.

Swiss-Cycler :D

Seems we are squarely in the golden era of creative glass work. The stuff I see floating around the the local shops from the PNW glowers is amazing. Seems to be growing too. Most of this isn't production work, small shops doing custom work. Not the large volume scientific/collabs or pure scientific, but one off pieces. Maybe some startups and some may pass to different avenues.

Its nice to know someone in the business that knows the blowers locally. There is always a network in any business. I'm lucky to see a lot of pieces before they hit the street and sometimes have the option to grab it. Its always good to give them feedback that people like this design or style... Its a win-win for all

if you do get one, please do not get a custom order because it will take more than 6 months! hes really slow.

only his stuff on that website is actually reliable.

You can see liberty 503 in the sandblasting in the third pic down. It would be a lot sweeter if it stood on it's own (also odd that it's not direct inject).
Yes, I agree it needs a base as a good user, otherwise its more of a looker. I prefer the former. It needs a base

You know, I'll ask why the non direct inject. I doubt its a herb pipe, not at its size really.
