You will waste a lot of time and money trying to make medicated e-juice. There are a ton of purpose-built pens on the market to Vape pure oil/wax, why water it down?

I do use my atmos raw with qwiso, bubble and even charas I've tried with no problems (it just sucks for flower IMO) but for stealthiness and mobility purposes a ejuice alternative would be great. I cant keep loading iso, for exemple, in a pub or in a concert. A 2ml thc e juice can go a long way. Not mentioning safety, as I dont need to carry any hash on me. Thats why

hello all,
the thing is, I want to start making my own thc ejuice and avoid buyin new set of batteries, chargers, etc. Atmos Oil Attachments are not available where I live.

Cheers
I've made so many versions of ejuice. (CANNABIS BASED)
My all time favorite to to just buy it from the dispensaries.
Why water it down when you can just buy the pure concentrate ready to vape?
The CO2 Oils are easy to manage and the same viscosity as PURE GOLD only better effect and flavor.
PG I use often however it becomes boring so variation is required!
Sometimes just mixing the CO2 OIL and PG does the trick.

Your entire 2ml load will be equivalent to .2 of oil. I suggest you stick to the ISO, you're going backwards trying to use e-juice.

I know this is my first post and its probably not the best idea to start complaining about a product, but honestly Im really disappointing in this product. I honestly purchased it at YESTERDAY at 230pm, its now the next morning and the fucking element doesnt want to heat up :S I know what ur thinking, what are you smoking out of it. Ive only put full melt bubble hash into it and last night seemed to work pretty well, this morning not soo much. After contacting Atmos I felt the neglect of customer service, I was speaking to someone who honestly was asking someone else for answers (which i could hear faintly) and sounded like she didn't give 2 shits. They want me to pay them 30-40$ more for them to ship me another 1 which i would have to wait atleast 10 days for. Im a bit skeptical now with a product that fails withing 24 HOURS.

I feel that this company should take responsibility for their product and send me 1 that works!

This is a strange site to vent?
Most of the VAPORIST have quivers a little different than yours?

You need a much more powerful device for bubble hash.

The ATMOS is not a bad device however stay with PURE GOLD or CO2 OIL.

For denser concentrates you will need 7.4 Volts of power at least.

Break out your wallet!

First off, welcome to the Forums, sorry it's under a cloud.

As Ataxian said, this is probably not a good choice for bubble. Some will 'vape off' (maybe half if you're lucky) the rest will be reduced to goo to jam up the works, so now it has half the capacity and a bunch of garbage. After the second (lesser) load it's now got 25% capacity at the best. You need a vape that lets you clean the garbage out or lets you replace the cart easily and cheaply.

But it sounds like that's not the issue? It's not getting hot anymore? Perhaps we can get that fixed, but you'll still be faced with needing a better vape or better concentrates (solvent refined stuff that 'passes the foil test').

So, no heat at all? It's not locked off is it?

Thanks OF, I appreciate the warm welcome.

What would you guys recommend for bubble hash? I wish i had jumped on these forums sooner, seems like there are quite a bit of experienced knowledgeable people that are more than inclined to teach others. Yes the device will not heat any more, its has power but the element just wont heat.

Update: I will be heading to a smoke shop within an hour to see if they can fix it, will keep you guys posted.

A quick fix would be to put a CARTOMIZER instead and fill it with CO2 OIL or PURE GOLD.
Less problematic than the CARTS.

Also I welcome you to the fun.

Be careful it can be addicting!

Thanks ataxian I appreciate your time, your definitely right on the money, I can see this site becoming addicting. I just got back from the head shop and they did a quick test and it was obvious that the element wasn't working, so they replaced my cartridge with another. Now I am good to go! I hope this one lasts longer then my last 1, relieved i didn't have to send it out for RMA, forget about it.... Now i just gotta get me some cartomizers! Anybody know any shops that sell them in the lower mainland, preferably Vancouver BC area? The head shop i just went to didn't have them.

I would prefer to grab it locally, as apposed to buying online and waiting for shipping.

Peace,
ResinHead

FYI, Groupon is selling the Atmos Raw for 79.99:
"Atmos Rx Dry-Vaporizer Kit and Oil Bundle – Online Deal

$79.99 for Atmos Rx Dry-Vaporizer Kit with Oil Adapter and Oils ($247.80 List Price). Four Colors Available. Free Shipping."

Question - worth it? i only use dried herbs

That seems like a pretty sweet deal, I wish I had seen that before I purchased mine =P. I wouldn't recommend it for dried herbs tho, as it is not a true vaporizer. Id say its more along the lines of an E-pipe, its pretty efficient if your using oils, waxes, full melts etc. Definitely usefull for on the go dabbing.

I bought an Atmos Raw and I loved it!!!After my purchase, I called the company as well for the glass screen because it was working as an electric pipe with combustion. However, It also created a spark and doesn't light up anymore.I don't know If there was a few defective ones but hey its all part of the process. A friend of mine showed me this vape pen and I had to have it. I only had it a week n a half and after it sparked it no longer worked. I hope I can get another chamber soon because it was excellent with concentrates. It's quality made and discreet.

So does the RAW actually combust the herb? Does the glass piece actually prevent this? I need a pen that does oil,wax and actual herb without combustion. I thought this could be it but have seen many reviews say it combusts. Bummer.

A nice girl I know just told me "I bought a vape pen." and when I asked if she knew the name she was like "Atmos Raw" why are the pretty ones always so

Is there anything to do with this vape or should I tell her to return it? Is anyone actually running oils and puregold through it too?

First time post on here, but long time follower of topics... I feel i finally have something to comment on! I have never liked the atmos raw, my brother had one and it combusted uncontrollably, tasted horrible. I was given one yesterday, it was slightly used but whatever, another vape to add to the collection. No glass screen so i didnt even attempt to put ground up flower in there, and luckily had some oil on hand. Ive been running oil through a cloud v pen, but hate the taste of burning wick, so i figured id try it in the raw. ITS GLORIOUS!!! Now about the oil, super clean, completely purged of waxes and solvents(as good as one could i suppose), so it should be smooth. In the cloud v, it hurt, i hacked, no consistency, less battery power... just all cons... You can find a legit atmos online for less than 75 bucks, so its more than worth it for oil, i have no waxes or budders to try a.t.m.
Tips for atmos:
Get rid of the spring

Dont over load it with more than a ball larger than your tip of your pinky, it will actually take longer to get satisfactory amounts of vapor, youll figure it out after the first time you overload

Press the power button repeatedly for a few seconds at a time while drawing smooth and slow, it will minimize the amount of oil that creeps to the screen

Very positive experience so far with atmos and oil. Ive through Iolites, vapor boxes, those lame little handpipes with the pumice stone or whatever on top... Currently running a volcano and davinci original. Kinda over the davinci, its getting weird in its old age. Volcano is quite a few years old and still running like a champ. Excited that the atmos is kicking ass with oil, but will be back on asap if something goes wrong...

Update:
Inside, after a couple smallish servings. The oil thins out and gets everywhere(like every pen ive ever used) but hasnt reached the mouth piece yet. Ive been using it all day with 2 maybe 3 batches?

So update #2: While i did get receive a used unit and i did not expect the battery to really last the claimed 72 hours, it barely lasted 24 of 'continuous use'. I gave it a full charge yesterday in the a.m. and it is out now. Still better quality and life than my cloud v. Im really trying to push the limits of this thing cause i see it as a free experiment, never had love for it in the first place. Put a large (.3-.4 maybe?) glob of oil in it today, ended up havin to pour some out, but did discover something. If you constantly rotate the unit and keep the oil rollin around the walls of the chamber at a more horizontal angle (not flat, it will leak up) you can maintain a good deal of oil in there and still generate some very satisfactory vapor. Damn, they should be paying me for the amount of effort and rave review ive devoted to their pipe dream...

By reading this thread, it looks like the Atmos is best used for dabs, and not dry herbs. Would anyone recommend the Rx over the actual RAW? I've had someone return their Rx due to the heating element going out on them. Also, for a short time they released the 'Nuke' version for waxes, has anyone tried that one and gotten anything good out of it?

Eh, honestly you're probably better off with a Dabbler or BHolt at the moment if dab-sized hits are what you're aiming for. Dabbler is backed by VaporBros (they've been in the game for a while) and BHolt is a new-ish contender that's seeing success.

Have no idea the difference between the rx or the raw, from pictures i dont see much difference. If anything, the rx just has the glass screen included in the heating chamber to try to force it to be an herbal vaporizer.
Im still running oils and waxes non stop in my raw, havent burnt out the element, havent had a problem with clogging, and as long as the outside of the pen is clean, no burnt crap odor that was caused by the previous use of herb. I did a full cleaning of the heating chamber last night, and super easy. I dont use any solvents on the inside of the pen/heating chamber. Take a heat gun on lowest setting, mine was 250-300, and warm the chamber for a couple minutes. Click the button and let everything get nice and hot, then flick your wrist downward to get nearly all residues to drop out. It will stay warm for sometime, and the oils will be thin enough to paper towel out of there without leaving fibers behind. The only frustrating (and i use that term loosely as other pens are much more so) part is the cermic mouthpiece can get badly clogged, but ive yet to pull oil through to my mouth. To clean that is easier than anything else. Prop it up on a tooth pick or two so theres some distance between it and the plate with the wide side down. Heat gun straight down on it, it can take alot of heat, so feel free to crank up temp as necessary, and just let the oils purge themselves out. when it cools enough to handle, blow it out, towel it off, and your good to go.
Ever other pen ive used has had coils crap out every couple weeks, spending ~15 bucks at a time for new ones. The atmos coil has already surpassed any others longevity, durability, and replacement is only around 25 bucks on the right websites. So if it lasts 3x+ as long and costs less than twice as much for a legit ceramic heating coil, i figure im winning.
I still dont know anyone else personally that uses their atmos for oil, maybe i just got lucky through some defects or something, but i do know ive never enjoyed vaping herb from them.

Never heard of the BHolt before, but after checking it out, it looks like it may be amazing. I only found one video with it so far, but cannot tell if its true glass on glass, or if critical parts are plastic/cheap. Its under 150 in a few spots so its not super expensive. Do you have any experience on it?

Just found pics of Bholt and Dabbler coils, and they both have those fibrous coils. My main reason for really even giving the atmos a chance was i didnt want to taste whatever those coils were that were burning up and shorting out. Im sad to see the Bholt wasnt really glass on glass heating wise. it wouldve been something truly innovative if it didnt use the same plastic/fiber coil configurations. Its cool to plug into a pipe, but disappointed that i let my expectations get the better of me.
