Hi first I'd like to apologize if this is a time-covered topic around here but, I was wondering....

I started vaping because of my health, I have some mild lung disease, asthma. However, doesnt seem like I can vape that much at all because I feel tightness in my lungs, I think its the heat and dryness irritating it. I use a vapman, good taste but I cant use it much. Does anyone have any tips for me, maybe I should just take up ingesting thc instead of inhaling. Appreciate the advice thank you.

Have you tried filtering the vapor with water through a bong/bubbler? Also start vaping on lower temps before you work your way up to higher ones

I havent tried water filtering, Need to get a bong for that. The vapman gets a bit hot unfortunately, would inserting a long tube help?

It just feels like my lungs are heavier, irritated probably. I wonder if anyone else had this and cured it with something. I guess I could get a bong for like 40 bucks, but I hope it works lol.

I've experienced the same problem as you and I've found it was either specific to what vaporizer your using, restricted draw tube or temp issues . I've had less problems in this aspect with whip vapes with a longer draw tube.

I have not found water filtering to help very much, it helps a little but I still have that tightness and heavy lung feeling.

But as others have said starting with temps low is the best way to avoid this problem in the first place, the higher I start my temps off; the more problems I have in this department.

I have some pretty severe lung conditions, asthma being one of them. I have been experimenting with vapor for about two years now. Currently the best way I have found is to use a vape with a fine screen and low resistance. Use low temps, and take small hits from a water tool with warm water, preferably a bubbler. And don't hold your hits in too long if at all.:2c:

Experimenting to find what works best for your body would be the best, but this should give you a good head start.

Edit: Dry bud also seems to make a pretty large difference. Improperly cured bud, or even moist bud produce much harsher hits ime. I'm assuming its due to the water vapor.

Thanks I'll give some thought to this to see if I can manage it better, im glad im not the only one. I will try to add a whip to my small vape, and try smaller hits. I'll report back if I find anything.

Lower temperature
Longer start up time (warm up)
Much softer.
FLAVOR is the indicator for me. Moist and Sweet is my target. Citrus, Pine, Grape are good as well.
I filter my vapor with water or a glass SHERLOCK!
If the flavor is diminished then I adjust down.
Recreational users like it much hotter than us medical users.
We don't need a $700.00 vaporizer for this reason.

GLASS PATH LOWER TEMPERATURES!
