In my business it is not uncommon for me to have to spend 200 dollars on a battery among other overpriced items ...it's supply and demand. Will be interesting to see how they develop as a business for sure. I like to think they are taking notes from the thread

So...does anyone think it's worth it to pick up a cloud plus at this point?
I want to buy one so badly but I'm hesitant now that the new one has been revealed. I'm sure the heating system will basically be the same, but yeah.

It's more just how long until it rolls out

If it comes in September that would be awesome. I need about that much time to save. It seems I never add something to the collection one piece at a time. It's like all of a sudden 3 or 4 things pop up at once and "bam" my wife is giving me the stink-eye!

It doesn't have a GonG attachment on the top, so you'd have to get creative and connect it via whip tubing somehow if you really wanted to do that.

Well I guess you could have the coil first, then the hydratube if you were worried about that. I honestly don't really think that'd be a problem though. Maybe VapeNStone will chime in and let us know. I'm gonna look into that ice pinch attachment too. That sounds mightily awesome as well.Any specific product(s) in mind?
Yea you put the coil first then the hydra tube. I have a mouthpiece for the coil as well, but I have seem to see that yes it cools down the vapor alot but I have a smaller coil and it seems to only last a few hits. Plus the coil gets clogged easy. I'll take a pic when I bet settled in at my new home in California.

Hmm maybe if you put the hydratube on the bottom it'll catch more particulate plant matter and etc., and cause the coil not to clog as fast.

Hey I always listen to Vapefiend's podcast, after saying the Cloud is the best of the best, one of the best models, they say the Cloud can be a tolerance killer and you can end up using a lot of material.
Can't you load 50mg (or less?) in the Cloud for it to be effective like the Minivap?

I have found the Cloud can effectively vape as small a load as you want. The tolerance killing comes from packing it full and ripping through ELB's which is the user's fault.

Ya, I usually do small elb's , works great for me.
The key word here is can, which makes these things conditional. In other words, if you abuse it then the Cloud might mess up your tolerance. This is a trait it shares with lots of other devices.

I've been exploring temps on all knob positions after being nicely heated.
Now I've done an "experiment" to make a guess of the heat-up curve.
I start the VXC on watch and then hit it and try to compare it to some stable temp.
2/3 ELB load. Max temp set. The Cloud is cold.
T=Begin heating, wait 2 min and then hit every minute.
T+0:02 decarbing CO2 taste, no cloud(guesstimation: just under min)
T+0:03 getting vapor, big cloud(guesstimation: 12:00)
T+0:04 this killed me, huge higt temp cloud exhaled in heavy coughing
(guesstimation: 3:00)
T+0:05 slowly dying, small cloud(guesstimation: 3:30)
T+0:06 finisher hit, thin blue cloud(guesstimation: 3:50)
ABV isnt getting as dark when I vape early.
But it delivers huge killing hits even four minutes after turning it on.
It felt like on noon just after 3 mins.
I don't know why the ABV is so light, it definitely felt high temp and I almost feared I combusted.
It must be the conduction element that heats up in 8 minutes or so that makes the ABV dark...
This is what the heat up curve of my Cloud Plus seems to me.
So yes, it seems to heat up a little faster than non-plus clouds.
I think the very first original clouds were fast like this.

interesting observation about the light ABV. that could be what's happening in the Sublimator to have such green ABV.

That is even more confusing. The sublimator is metal, so I suppose there is lot of conduction there.
Yet I think I have an explanation for that.
