So I think I've found a regular spot for the box in my rotation. The new box with the new batts plus some of that fluffy/kief stuff I get out of my coffee grinder is a big winner every time! I can easily take that on the road and get a quick lift.

iv'e been using my MFLB almost exclusively again, for over a week now.. and i'm loving it. i'm getting a lot better sleep and using less.. i'm even carrying it around w/ some 2700's on the go again. i forget how medicated conduction gets me.. it's a nice change, but i really enjoy taking bigger hits.. so i'm gonna have to switch back, when i'm not in conservation mode haha. this thing always does the job for me though. i love the control i have over the effects, w/ the box.
i just saw this cool pic of some MFLB art. its a pretty big pic to post.

That's an extremely small amount. Am I weird because I spread mine out to cover the whole tray? It never boils over, though. I always use the unscreened tray too. It just seems to work better for me.

I'm also using microscopic amounts using these concentrate trays. No way to even measure those kinds of amounts, but that kind of conservation rocks! :D

I loaded a few one-hit loads, you can't see the rest in the picture. I happened to have the unscreened trays out so I grabbed one of them.

buildozer...do you have the new batteries?

Inspired by Stu's link to the coil vid, I took mine apart last night and put it back together again. Then I dropped in the Ion for a nice little session. Cool little vape for the money. But I still couldn't get it to work with the torch. Once I got the bic out and let the flame get sucked into the coil it started working great.

Then I did the most fucked up genie mod ever and got some decent hits. I took the Ion, an 18mm to 14mm reducer, one of the glass stems from the Pod, a mflb pushback ring and the glass VG top. It barely stayed up without wiggling and had at least one air leak in the path, but got some hits. I REALLY want to hit my Ion with the glass VG setup.

Has anyone attempted a dab with the concentrate tray yet? Maybe with the PA you could pre heat the tray hot enough? Or would the box suffer from too much heat?

i was using some of the new logo batteries for a little while.. i just couldn't get into them.. i plan to give them another shot some time.. but even on the PA i don't really like to go past ~60% so the 2700's are ok for me on the go..
the new batteries seemed to take a good amount longer to charge, and they would get pretty hot before the charger said it was done charging, so i was afraid to ever let them finish charging.

ha crazy mod... it took me a while to picture it.. i kept reading the stem from the Pod as, the stem from the Box. ha that had me confused. you must not have one of these things huh 1, 2?
can you taste the metal a lot w/ the coil?

no...but thanks for the links...that was my next search. I went into my lhs and he didn't have anything affordable. I'm gonna order something like this to tighten up the seal for my Cloud and use it as a glass VG bottom.

Used with my bong for the first time today, the intensity of the PA was quite a shock and I ended up combusting for the first time! Very different usage to the original batteries but I've already sussed out a decent temperature to use.

With the tree perc it seems to create lovely cool smooth vape clouds :)

lemming, way to make an entrance to the board :)

to the european followers of this thread and the cult of the magic box, who are tired to pay fees to the greedy customs and wait long weeks until the goods arrive. hang on, hope is near. :) i asked magic flight about the future availability of the concentrate trays, the finishing grinder and the new batteries on the european market. they will try to make them available in the next months. i don't think, it's just a marketing ploy. call me naive, but i believe, they woudln't say that, if it wasn't already in the making. if you haven't already got one, apparently the PA seems to come to europe, too.

Thanks mate!

I had literally just been stung by the customs fees when importing the PA & WPW :(

Looking forward to a european supplier with quicker shipping times and lower costs!

Just curious, would I get a huge benefit for upgrading to the new batteries? I think I'm using an older set of stock batteries right now (the ones with powerex on them I think?), and I'm not even disappointed by the clouds I get. However, a draw for me takes about 20+ seconds, so if the new batteries would allow me to take faster hits, that would be cool. =)

It seems like a really cost effective upgrade, was just looking for a second opinion. Haha

i would definitely go for it, especially if MFLB on the go is your main way of using it. i enjoy a slow draw but you can get some solid hits without making yourself out of breath with these. also it's a great deal on some awesome batteries.

Good call! I'll give them an order.

My lady friend implied that she might get me the finishing grinder as a small anniversary present. :) With that and the new batteries, I'm optimistic that my mflb will become even more loved in the next month.

Everyone should run out and get these new batts!
These batts were so strong that my whole technique
had to be changed to a much quicker draw.
They even made me retighten my PA as these
new batts were stronger than my PA.

I have discovered that my vapolution's wall converter
and car adapter will power the LB's PA. Of course with
the new batts this is moot.

The PA still has it's place.
I like the new Batteries also, but not enough to where it matters to me which I use.
I have 3 Launch Boxes in the house, and one in the car.
After a month with the new batteries, I gave them to friends that seemed envious of my new batteries...
and have been happily using the originals since.
When it is time to order batteries again, it will not matter to me which I get.
