Netflix Blue Gold World Water wars. Most people in America don't know about the worlds water shortage. 3% of water on earth is fresh water 50% of that 3% is polluted. Did you know it's illegal to collect rain water in many countries or that clean water cost more then Coca Cola in much of the world.

While visiting places like Peru, Kazakhstan and Amsterdam, learn from author Michael Pollan as he explains the natural history of apples, tulips, marijuana and potatoes and describes how common plants such as these deftly manipulate human desires. Based on Pollan's best-selling book, this documentary encourages viewers to look at the world from a vastly different perspective and improve their relationships with nature.

A great show to watch when you're stoned. It's smart, silly, weird, thoughtful, and has lots and lots of weed.

Too bad Netflix only has season 1...

I have Wilfred in my Netflix queue... should really watch it soon...

We do not have "TV"... no cable. We have had a Netflix account since 2003... Some of my absolute favorites are

How I met your Mother
Numbers
Person of Interest
Bones
Fringe
Big Bang Theory

For stunning, visual effects, try:
Chronos
Baraka

and, yes I just added some more to my queue...

Wilfred can be pretty fun, and offbeat, but my only issue with it is that they're constantly smoking through plastic water bottle bongs :puke:

I also have no cable TV & just use netflix 90% of the time. Although I do have a 8ft tall, 30yr old TV Antenna on my roof that picks up a whopping 12 channels.

I know! I hate that.

However, in season 1, the episode "Ungrateful Bastard," Wilfred complains about Ryan giving him a Kobe beef chewing bone by saying he'd rather have "a bong or, better yet, a vaporizer."

Probably my favorite TV series of all time, Arrested Development, is coming back this month on the 26th with new episodes.

If you haven't seen it yet, you should. It's probably the funniest series I have ever seen. You know how you usually don't laugh out loud when you're by yourself? This show makes you LOL solo.

Another great thing about this series is the rewatchability. Usually after I see something once I don't watch it again unless it's really really really really really good. This show you can watch a million times over and find something new every time.

The writers for this show are probably some of the most intelligent comedy writers of all time. The show jampacks so many jokes into such a short amount of time, that you'll literally miss like half of them. So I suggest a strain that doesn't get you that slow, can't keep up, easily distracted/can't pay attention type of stoned. Try to only vape a strain/amount that's going to keep your mind sharp so you can catch all the jokes, or as many as possible. Also try to pick a strain that gets you that goofy/giggly type of high, that's the best kind to pair with Arrested Development.

Where's Bob Loblaw? I know he'd agree with all of this...

BTW, if you're into real-life murder mysteries, Netflix recently put season 5 of Cold Blood on streaming. All the starting episodes are absolutely incredible to the point where they almost sound fictitious, but they're true-stories.

Also, Bob's Burgers and Squidbillies are freakin' hilarious cartoons.

You Must Unlearn, What You Have Learned...
Degenerate Art, The Union, Tons of stand up comedy, Lost, 24, Saved by the Bell, The Wonder Years, Weeds, Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, the list goes on and on.... I dropped expensive cable and satellite early this year and only miss ESPN but can get my fix online! OTA reception and Netflix along with my gaming console, dvds and blurays allows me to pay a monthly bill of under ten bucks for daily entertainment!

Is The Wonder Years with the original music intact? They struggled with licensing issues for years - at least when trying to get them on DVD.

Just started getting into this show...

I'm about halfway through Season 2 and it's REALLY getting good...

My only complaint is that the Cylons... aren't very bright. They probably have the worst security I've ever seen... and don't even use "thermal imaging" or whatever to find humans? I mean... come on.

But putting that aside, it's a wonderful show with a lot of great ideas that's also a lot of fun.

And is it just me, or.... is being able to stream a show's entire run from your own living room just...

Oops... different show...

Love Wilfred, very good stuff.

A GREAT movie on Netflix is End of Watch http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1855199/
Don't bother reading reviews, if you watch the first 5 minutes of it you'll be hooked for the whole ride.

Also, for those that have a lifetime to burn, Prison Break is intelligent and suspenseful, with like 82 hour long episodes. And don't forget your newly added Adult Swim cartoons (Metalocalypse anyone?)

End of Watch was one of the best movies I've seen
Not an easy watch though.

Netflix just added a new Werner Herzog documentary,
Happy People: A Year in the Taiga
Also one of the best things I've ever seen!
